It came on time, well packed, value for money, i haven’t really tried it only to see if it works, it is fast at shredding the papers, but a tad noisey, but i am well pleased with it so fa
Does the job it’s indented to do. Nice size, I find it annoying that the top doesn’t clip on so the handle can’t be used to move it, just to lift the lid – is this right or am I being silly and haven’t figured it out?
Not a massive collection bin but ample size for shredding general correspondence with personal details on it. Pretty quiet compared to my old one. All in all does what I need it to do! Very happy.
Quick delivery. Nice compact size allowing me to put it away under my desk. I have shredded credit cards and other quite thick material and it works! Really happy that I can put through multiple papers and it still will shred them saving me lots of time as my old one would only manage max 2 papers.

Arrived on the correct date and within the time zone stipulated. Does what what it’s supposed to do with one exception. It struggles with more than two sheets at a time, despite being advertised as being able to cope with six.
Easy to order, with rapid delivery. The unit is exactly as advertised, good sturdy quality and appears to work well. Time will tell on its reliability, but for the price it seems great value for money.

Nice small shredder, very easy to use and perfect for shredding up old bank cards, it cuts them up in tiny pieces. A bit on the loud side and overheats quickly! Smaller than the usual shredder but for personal use this one suits me perfectly.
After reviewing many shredders and tempted by the more expensive ones I decided on the Bonsai Paper Shredder and it was a good choice. Not only did it arrive unbelievably quickly but it is easy to use and cuts the paper so small that the bin holds twice as much as my old shredder which cut the paper into strips. The handle at the top makes it easy to lift off the bin for emptying. If you need complete privacy of your shredded correspondence you can be sure that the Bonsai shredder will give you that as the pieces are tiny.
A nifty, well made shredder. The size is enough to accommodate quite a few sheets, that are well and truly shredded. If you keep to no more than 3 sheets it doesn’t make the shredder work to hard and overheat.
I’ve had this now for a couple of months, I shred anything with my details on and it works great, if I thought there was nothing better on the market, I’d have given it a 5 star review!
It will take a small handful of sheets, 4 to 6 I’d say, the more you put through it, the more it will struggle!
The bin is a bit small if your doing a lot of shredding! but that makes it inobtrusive when it’s tucked into a corner somewhere!
It says it takes up to 6 sheets of paper at a time, it only manages 2.
The base is very flimsy & thin, & seems like it could easily break.
It shreds ok, but you get a burning smell after only a minute or two of shredding. Instructions were followed to only shred for 3 minutes & turn it off to cool down for 40 minutes. So I probably wouldn’t buy another one.
Used pretty soon after received. it does what it says but don’t think it will take 6 sheets at a time – hope it lasts longer than my last one which is why I ordered a different make.
I have used it to shred a lot of old documents and also for occasional use. It is a good-value compact shredder. Have to pace the shredding to prevent it from heating up and also make sure documents are properly loaded.
Needed to replace a shredder that I bought more than 10 years ago from Woolworths. This seems to do the same job well. Only problem is it is very top heavy with a lightweight, almost flimsy base, so although small and portable, I often run the risk of it falling/toppling over when I move it around. The shredder is more noisy than my last one.
Have had it for two weeks and happy with it. Easy to operate and so far working well dealing with a backlog. Just wish the top part could attach securely to the bottom so I could carry it around by the handle .
We bought this as our previous shredder died on us, got it by 1pm the next day.
It has a safety light if it starts to get over heated, can have it on continuous, or auto so great If shredding a lot, takes about 4 sheets at a time, nice little window so easy to see when it need emptying
I would recommend this Shredder, it is great value for money, it says on the booklet it can shred credit cards and paper with staples- have not tried the credit card yet but it does get through stapled Paper. It is light to carry and you can see through the window as to when is full. Good value for money and delivered on time!
This shredder is great for all uses. I got this so I can shred old documents or letters that have our address on and it sits under my desk perfectly. Easy to use and has good power too, can take quite a bit of paper at a time and has a reverse setting incase you get anything jammed. I also like that it has a handle and is easy to empty. 10/10 Recommend.
This is probably the best little shredder I have used . I haven’t tried to shred 6 sheets at a time but it’s managed 4 sheets no problem at all .
You can shred quite a bit before the overheat indicator comes on .

It’s never going to be fit for the office due to such a short run time(3 minutes) but for the odd few letters at home it’s goid enough. I only sgred single sheets and it works fine. I’ve tried 4 sheets and you can tell the difference with the motor sound so I’m sticking with single sheets for now. I still havnt tried the credit card function. It’s neat enough to hide away in a cupboard and the little window on the collector box saves having to lift the top off to check if it’s full. Overall not bad for the money.
Small enough not to take up much space in a small home study, but strong enough to cope with several sheets at a time. Quick and efficient. Easy to empty. What more do you want?!
A replacement for my very old shredder used at home for disposal of personal, private documents. It crosscuts very well, it does cut 6 sheets at a time as advertised if needed. Bought at a reduced price so even better value. Next day, on time delivery too. Perfect.
I had it for few weeks now and I used it few times. It works well. The only things you cannot carry it with the handle which is a shame. For this I give one star less
Maybe it’s down to how thick the pages are. I thought, “Oh no, I’ll end up breaking it the first day i use it.”
I wouldn’t even try a credit card or anything thicker than regular printer paper!
Did I misread the item description? I’d say it would be fine if all you want to do is shred a bank statement, and in that case it’s worth the money.
Wonderful! Best shredder by far. I carried on going through my paperwork in varying degrees of thickness. I was convinced I would have to stop for over heating or paper block but No!! I carried on for over a hour, brilliant. Would recommend to everyone because I filled it 2 times before stopping and then I did to save it. I bought the recommended oil paper to use once a month, haven’t tried it yet but will.
This shredder does not seem strong and sounds flimsy when using. Nevertheless, it does the job it’s supposed to do and only time will tell whether the shredder will keep found long term.
