PREMIUM VELCRO
The removal of the journal panel from the pouch is a very helpful innovation and we know you will keep doing the numerous times. This is why the pouch comes with Velcro that is used in only premium hand bags.
NET POCKETS
There are stationery items such as washi tape, paper clips, tiny highlighters that simply need a space of their own. This is why the STM Pouch comes with net pockets to bring along such beloved items.

I’ll be honest, I got this so much toddler doesn’t draw on it. I clip the zipper to a loop with a keychain to get her out.
Yet it’s also nice having frequently used pens in my grip instead of using a pencil case. The color is brighter so it’s easy to spot. It’s also easy to remove the bullet journal for going to doctors appointments.
I bought the mango yellow a5 version.
The colour is warmer and darker than in the picture, doesn’t look as bright or refreshing, but it’s still not a bad colour so I’m keeping it.
The quality is mostly ok, no loose threads, nothing is broken at the moment.
It has enough room for a5 visual diary with spiral.
I think it’s an important point that I didn’t see other people mention,
since spiral versions are usually much cheaper which makes the long term use of this case more economical.
There are 3 pen holder sections on each cover, and each section can hold 6 standard watercolour pencils flat, or 11 double layered.
It is possible to hold pencils only in the top part with only the elastic band and use the bottom mesh pockets for other things.
The outer pocket is rather tight, especially if your phone has a thicker cover.
It’s almost impossible to fit my phone in there when I had the case stuffed full, but sliding passport and boarding pass in there would be no problem.
The hooks for shoulder strap are almost as heavy as the case but they do feel sturdy.
The loops on the case for the hooks are rather sturdy too.
Overall, it’s pleasant to use and because of its quality, I don’t worry if it would fail me during my journey.
If you have the money to spare and want something that would last you a long time, I would recommend this item.
I’m very pleased with the prompt same day delivery. I’m very happy with this product, it’s great quality. Slightly more give or depth in the body of the case, small elastics up higher on the inside of the pouch above the ones for pens, and pockets on both sides instead of only one side of the outside would make this journal pouch practically perfect in every way but as I said, I am pleased with the pouch as is and it is exactly as described.
I’ve been searching for something like this quite a while, finally gave in and bought the STM pouch (A5, black).
The material quality is very good, it doesn’t look or feel cheap at all so I hope it will accompany me on my many travels. I’m using it for smaller notebooks than A5, especially midori / traveler notebooks.
I absolutely love mine! I use the pouch for sketch journalling so bought an A5 notebook which fits nicely. It’s well laid out and is excellent quality, I can easily fit 15 coloured pencils plus pens, eraser etc.
Yes, as some reviewers have stated, the price is a bit hefty but personally I think it’s worth paying a bit more for an item that’s well made and will last.
This is a really good quality case. It holds my journal and loads of other stuff so it has plenty of room but..it’s expensive for what it is and there are lots of cheaper alternatives out there.
I am loving that I am able to keep my pens that I am using for my month in one place. If I am out and need to jot something down I have my pens laid out and easy to access. That the cover is protecting my journal. I am very happy with the quality of the material ans the zip. I have not uses the should strap yet but the clips are stolid. I love the colour. All in all I am very happy with this.
The price is the negative for me, these were put up a whole tenner while I was already considering buying one (but not because I already considered it expensive). There may not be anything quite like it, and I do think it’s made well but I still can’t justify the price. 50 quid for essentially a well made pencil case and a strip of velcro down the middle to hold the notebook in place. I’m not a cheapskate but I feel it’s greedy.
Love the mustard colour however, and it does serve it’s purpose and this is purely just my opinion, those that have more money than I do are more than welcome to disagree
Really well made, great quality, very useful and does exactly what I need it to. It’s definitely going to see more use for travel and heading out and about than journaling at home. I did keep my bujo and stationery in it for a few days after using it to go and visit family, but it’s a little bulky for daily use at home. The velcro for removing the journal from the middle is excellent quality and seems like it will last well, but as it’s the hook side that pulls away, be mindful what you lay the journal down on when detached as fluff and hair will catch and reduce the life of the velcro. I’m very happy with it and see it getting lots of use in the future.
I was a bit skeptical at first due to the high price. I was looking for something just like this which fits a note book in and to use in the same place. I ordered it and wasn’t disappointed. Lots of room for pens, stickers, stencils, brush pens etc. It fits them all. The case is well made with a great long cross handle to carry like a small bag.
i ordered the A5 size and fits my notes books in perfectly.
I love this case! It holds the supplies I need and is a wonderful way to carry my journal. It’s a professional-looking and handy way to have what I need at the ready.
The only complaint I have is that it could be a little thicker. If I put pens/markers in every pouch/holder, it’s too packed to zip. The video for this product shows that this can hold pens/markers, a tablet, and your journal, but this isn’t accurate. I have pens/markers in both the front and back. There isn’t space to put much else after that. I definitely can’t fit a small e-reader in it and zip it up.
Initial load in: a complete plein air kit
A5 Art journal – depending on project/whim: either etchr portrait (230gsm/52[26]pages), a white dot grid (160gsm/160[80]pages) or black dot grid (150gsm/160[80]pages)

Right side of journal:
– [ ] Mesh Pocket – ceramic cutter pen, 3 erasers (tombow sand, tombow air touch, factis black 18), sharpener, hb lead refills, color mixing guide, 3×2 mixing palette, 10 mini blank watercolor cards, washi tape.
– [ ] Elastic – section 1: fillable watercolor brush, tombow dual brush colorless blender, sakura colorless blender, portable mister containing gamsol, two sizes of blender stumps, section 2: 6 faber-castell pitt artist brush markers (landscape set); above section 2 – velcro’d in boxed lyra kneaded eraser, section 3: 1 black faber-castell pitt artist brush, ball point pen, hb mechanical pencil, chrome marker, and an altoid smalls tin (holding watercolor palette) rubber-banded to the top of a wood-backed stump/tortillon sand paper sharpener pad.
Given the premise, it’s surprising to me how easy it is to fill this up width-wise—having added highlighters to one side and a notebook (not STM brand but a similar A5, hardcover journal of equivalent page count), I found myself fearing for the zipper a little already and more so if I added anything more. If the space was going to be that limited I would have liked to see at least another external pocket on the back. As is, I’m a bit disappointed there because I was hoping to also fit a slim A5 planner or two (I make odd choices with redundant planners but, well). I like the design enough, and have found myself journaling less than I used to enough, that I’ll probably end up buying slimmer, softcover journals in the future in order to keep using this case, as opposed to writing the case off—assuming I am not fated to kill the zippers by then. And the “peacock blue” color is quite nice. But given it’s advertised as having space for a full complement of journal supplies, I was sad and surprised to hit a wall when I’d consider myself barely halfway there. If nothing else I’d have liked to be able to keep writing supplies on both sides of the notebook, or maybe slim tapes, but adding another 1–1.5cm in any direction feels like tempting fate!
This is a product I didn’t know I needed until I bought. Holds my journal flat, I can remove it quickly and put it back just as quickly.
Space for loads of pens and little pockets for correction tape, washi tapes, erasers, anything small you may wish to take along with you.
It’s well made and isn’t going to just fall apart when the wind blows the wrong way. Plus, I love the colour!
I have waited for a pouch like this for a long time. Somewhere to store my bullet journal and supplies, that is perfect for travel.
Upon opening the package I was surprised how big the case was, at first I thought I’d been sent the B6 size by mistake. However, once I popped everything in I found it had just enough space. I put in most of the things I regularly need and a few extra pens and found it was a bit cramped, so I shuffled things until I got the right amount – still probably too many tombows though.
I included a picture to give you an idea of how much and comfortably fit.
The removable Velcro cover is ideal too and very convenient. Feels like the Velcro has just the right amount of strength, but I’ve only had it two months, so I’m not sure how well it will last.
It comes with a carry strap which I’ve never really used as I put it in my bag usually. I think this is too big for day-to-day carry (hence deducting 1 star) but it is spot on for taking my journal somewhere on a long weekend or more.
This pouch is just incredible! It fits all the planner tools I need for on the go planning, including a large reusable sticker album. I was dubious whether it would fit my B6 stalogy as it’s designed for A5 notebooks but it fits! This gives it even more flexibility than I had initially thought. I’m so happy with this product, I couldn’t recommend it more.
Looks very yellow in the product photos, but on arrival it was found to be more orange in tone, which was very disappointing.
Luckily seller is very understanding (nice people!) and I was able to return it.
I just got this in the mail today. I’m excited to use this and I think it will help me to be more consistent with my journaling. Unfortunately, there is a small tear in one of the mesh pockets. I hope it doesn’t get bigger. This is probably just my luck, but that’s why I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Small oversight.
I plan on keeping my journal stored “upside down” in the purse so I don’t have to remove the strap from my shoulder when I want to open up the purse and write in my journal. That way the strap won’t drag on the ground or get tangled in my feet.
This is a great case for taking your notebook and pens out and about. It’s very well made and protective. It is a bit heavier than I’d expected, but I suppose that demonstrates its robust qualities!
I bought my ouch in Peacock blue – such a beautiful colour. Now I can journal with all the necessary’s to hand rather than digging around in boxes and draws for a particular pen or ruler. My journal and pens, glue and white corrector all fit in nicely and the pouch closes easily. Will be buying another for work but which colour to choose?
What a fantastic item. I love this case. It’s a lovely colour, stores the right amount of pens, pencils, accessories. The journal lays flat in the centre creating a perfect platform to journal on, it’s perfect!
Thanks STM!!
Overall a lovely piece of kit, the most affordable option I’ve found for carrying a journal and stationery. The only note of caution I’d give is that if you’re fond of thicker/bigger pens such as fountain pens it can get rather lumpy and a little sketchy to close if you store more than 1 or 2. Overall still a fantastic product and I’m really happy with it!
Wow! Where do I start! I adore the Pouch! I’ve always struggled to journal on the go. I’ve had to take just one or two pens and then feel frustrated when I’ve inevitably lost one of them in the bottom of my bag!! All that’s now a thing of the past!
The Pouch allows me to chose a good range of my favourite STM pens and then bring my trusty STM notebook with me too! The Notebook detaches from the pouch giving me creative freedom and then reattached with the clever use of Velcro! When I’m out and need a good surface to rest on, the Pouch gives me that surface, meaning that I can now literally journal anywhere! This gives me the opportunity to record my thoughts and make notes, write dates or even just doodle whenever I want which is amazing for my mental health.
Another amazing creation by STM! I can’t wait to see what else they come up with! Highly recommend!
This case is so well made and I was immediately impressed. The “peacock” color is a nice mid-range teal. The inner case has so many mini pockets to hold cables, pens, etc. The removable sleeve in the middle is great for notebook or device protection. I like that you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to. I was able to fit an A6 STM notebook, ipad mini 6, remarkable 2, moleskine xl (b5 size), a small spiral A6, and my pens and highlighters in here and zipped with no problem. There was no gaping or pulling on the zipper once it was closed. I definitely recommend this case if it suits your needs. Sadly, I need a few other things in my everyday carry and I feel I maxed out what can fit inside before it caused stress on the zipper. That’s on me, not on the quality of the case. If I can figure out how to pare down and combine a few things it will be perfec
