This was the perfect bracket for a TV that needed hanging off of a small space to the side of the window and the arm is long enough for the TV to sit in front of the curtains still and moved to the side a little
Did it on my own so it can be done, instructions are in simple pictures and one sentence, wasn’t sure if my tv would fit or fall down but it worked, very pleased with this, I have cavity walls too and it’s still up after a few months.!
Easy to install, works well and ideal for my nieces bedroom. The bracket helps extend the tv from her alcove so brings the tv closer to her bed and the tilt is great for viewing when laying down and as the bracket can also turn the tv she can see the screen when sitting at her desk
A very good to wall bracket for the price. Easy installation, fitted a JVC 32″ tv. Make sure you check that the screw holes on the wall bracket correspond with the screw holes on your tv, as there seem to be different bracket fittings for each tv.
Needed a brack to fit in a corner and part of a window reveal.
The bracket is very flexible on how it positions with in/out/left/right and tilt movement, has 2 strong bolts for fixing so very solid fix, you will need a 10mm masonry bit.
We used it on a 32 inch tv for the bedroom and it’s gr8.
This is a well made adjustable bracket which was easy to fix to the wall but – and it’s a big “but”, the plate that is to be attached to the rear of the TV had to be severely modified. The advert description says it’s suitable for TV sizes 15″ to 42″. I had a new 28″ LG TV – when fixing the plate to the TV, it completely blocked the power socket and the aerial socket. I modified the plate by having to cut away two sections of the lower part thus enabling access those sockets. This plate, as with the other parts is made of substantial steal, making it hard to cut. Once modified it fitted ok. It seems as if that, although the holes are standard spacing, the plate itself is too big even for the 28″ TV I was installing. It certainly would have been far too big for anything smaller. I guess a larger TV may well have been ok.
A well made product let down by the back plate desug
This support comes with everything, including two very sturdy bolts and rawplugs for wall fixing. You will need a socket set to install the wall bolts as they have hex heads, but aset of pliers could be used. Once fitted, it was easy to mount the TV with the supplied screws. There were several different sizes of screws included, along with spacers.
Great quality product, works perfectly well, and came with a myriad of different fittings for all kinds of TV and wall combinations. The only tricky part was the final fitting of the VESA plate (with TV attached) to the arm, which required two people, but I thinks that’s true of all TV brackets.
Pleased with item, just one tiny complaint, we have the max size TV this bracket is compatible with so probably close to the top of its weight range and it feels a little flimsy when moved anywhere other than hard against the wall. If I was buying again I would get something more heavy duty.
Very easy to install. You’ll need a 10mm masonry drill bit if fixing to brickwork and a 13mm spanner to tighten the nut that prevents the TV from rotating horizontally. This is a sturdy TV bracket my only dislike about it is the nut that is supposed to prevent the TV from rotating horizontally. No matter how much you tighten this nut. You can still move it. That said. Once in position there is no reason to touch it again. I bought two of these one for a 32″ TV in the grandchildren’s bedroom and one for a 42″ TV in our bedroom. Fits perfect all the 4 holes on both tv’s were an equal 200mm apart horizontally and vertically. An assortment of screws for attaching the TV to the bracket are supplied with this bracket. Well worth the money.
All very good easy to fit with plenty of of options of size and length of bolts to
Attach to tv.
I didn’t need any of the spacers and washers.
Really need two people to attach the final part of assembly one to hold tv with bracket attached to back and the other to attach screws to other parts attached to your wall but everyone I’ve done before needed two people
All in all a good job
Functional, easy enough to install but I don’t like how you need to loosen screws to adjust the tilt. I’ve come across some mounts that tilt without requiring screws adjustments. Regardless it does the job. I also wish when in the flat wall position that it would center to the mounting bracket, it seems to be an inch left or right instead.
Very good quality, has currently held my 15KG TV for a month now, Judy use strong wall plugs though don’t recommend the ones in the box u less it’s a small tv
Very very stiff to swivel the middle section, even after oiling and wd40.
Good selection of screw sizes for the TV vesa and additional spacers so you can get perfect length.
The wall screws are frighteningly big, you need to drill 7.5 cm into the brick wall to fit the plug and screw.
I would just like to know why it’s so stiff to move and if they are made that way on purpose.
Prompt delivery and well packaged. Well made product with good selection of fixings for different applications although I used some heavier rawl plugs and coach screws to suit my application. Good value for money.
Easy to set up, and doesn’t take a lot of space. I have had this product for months and there are no complaints from my side as it has managed to stay still for long.
Used for a small bedroom tv , didn’t check the vesa before I purchased and only got 2 screws to hold the tv in as the rest didn’t fit but that’s my own fault as I should of checked , TVs been up for 8 months and hasn’t fallen off ye
Bought a new Tv for the kitchen and needed a bigger bracket , bought this and was not disappointed.once fitted with the fixings supplied I think I could of swung on it .
TV mount arrived within a day and after 10 minutes it was installed as all parts required were in the box ready to go – which is a great start to the review.
Lots of adapters and bolts to accommodate a variety of tv size and the wall screws are heavy duty so lots of confidence in it staying attached to the wall.
Product itself isn’t too heavy which means a single person can hold and screw it together easily enough. It was a little stiff to begin with when angling it but after some elbow grease it moved a lot easier but still gripped well.
Any negatives?
A minor one is the shape of the backplate which is a little wider than other X (cross) type brackets and it blocked one of the HDMI ports. TV’s have ports positioned in random places and perhaps just this tv was a little close to the mount points and luckily I had access to 2 other HDMI ports so wasnt a major problem but you should consider where your sockets are with this stuff.
….I found that there was one big problem. The wall bracket assembled really easily, the instructions were simple to follow and the spirit level included really helped make sure the drill holes made into the brick wall lined up perfectly. I made these hole with a 10mm drill bit as instructed, and tapped in the wall plugs flush with the surface, which made a really snug, tight fix. However, once I tried mounting the bracket onto the wall with the three long screws, each one of the the wall plugs started rotating after I’d got less than 1cm in. It’s a solid brick wall, but as this happened with all three of the plugs there didn’t seem any point in trying again and drilling new holes.
I cant blame the product in any way for this, though it must be a really common problem. At a loss I googled the problem and came up with something called ‘WETNFIX’ which I also bought of Amazon. It basically consists of cloth circles that you dip in water, wrap around the wall plug and reinsert into the holes; in a couple of minutes they’re good to go. It worked a dream and fixed the problem, and the wall bracket looks great!
I’m not trying to sneakily promote another product in my review – I’m sure there are other products makes that do just as good a job so feel free to search for them – I just wanted to share my experience and let anyone else facing the same issue know there is an easy way to fix it.
All in all this bracket is great. The choice of three different sets of screws and rubber washers included for different makes of TV’s wins extra points, and the only thing I can mark it down for is the fact that even with the ’tilt’ adjusted level my TV still tilts down a little. However, as mine is a little above eye-level it’s not an issue for me, though it may be for others. 4.5 stars out of 5. (But 5/5 for value)
