I bought and used in the past a Philips Nosetrimmer model NT1700. It was always hopeless and I find it hard to understand why it can still be bought on Amazon. A friend suggested I try the Philips model NT3650 and I was very reluctant but decided to try. It is a different design and can easily be inserted, if that is the correct word to use, into the nasal passage. I have to say the difference is remarkable. The NT3650 works a wonder and really does the job all the time.

Good value buy. Everything works well. Only thing that isn’t best is the eye brow trimmers, compared to other Phillips trimmers these are not designed well so don’t trim short or even.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI like this one overall and it is certainly a major improvement on the previous one I had that would cause minor cuts and irritation. The only difficulties I have encountered are that it sometimes requires a few attempts to get it running when changing the head, which seems to upset the connection somehow. Also there are times when the plastic cutters for the nose hairs seem all but useless and struggle to cut. That wasn’t the case at first, so I suspect they just become blunt after a while.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was recommended by my hairdresser to buy this product, which he uses in his salon. Best I have tried, and I have had many disappointments in the past. Not had it long so cannot speak for its longevity but it seems well made and I think it will prove to be a good purchase. After all, it has stood up to salon use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersMy previous trimmer packed up after several years of service so I was due a replacement.

The product arrived swiftly and has been put to use. It comes complete with a little carry bag that comes in handy for when you are not using it and the multiple cutting attachments are much appreciated for when it comes to keeping eyebrows nice and neat.

Inexpensive and built well I think it should last longer than the previous product that I owned.

Once you learn how to use it with a bit of practice, all the attachments work fine. Successfully trimmed nose, ear, eyebrows and detailed beard.
The storage bag isn’t great as the small parts can easily fall out unless it’s tied up tight, which isn’t easy to achieve, so for travelling the bag could/should be better and there’s no cleaning brush, although a quick rinse under a tap cleans ok, but would prefer a brush as well.
If it lasts at 20 quid I’m happy

It’s a great trimmer but doesn’t trim as close as it should. Don’t press to hard against the skin or you end up cutting the ear canal but use it gently and you will be happy. Not to be used on genitalia it hurts !

I was a little dubious on reading some reviews which in hindsight relate to the cheaper trimmer and must say this trimmer is brilliant and does exactly what it says on the tin. I’m mega pleased with my purchase and recommend it without hesitation.

So far I have trimmed nose hair and my eyebrows.

Nose hair, easy and simple to use.

Eyebrows, again it’s easy. I have had issues picking at my eyebrows and pulling them out (bad habit), which caused the hairs to be all different lengths. This sorted that out straight away. I used the longer attachment and it cut a good amount, so not sure if using the shorter one is for many people.

You can nearly always guarantee a good product from Philips, this is a case in point.
Every aspect but onen functions better than most out there, sadly the nose/ear trimmer I would rate poor. As such only 4 stars. I dont know if it’s my model but all the other attachments work great so therefore it is just clearly a poor design.

After years of using tweezers & nail scissors I thought I would try one of these. Chose Philips because of the good experiences I’ve had with their shavers. This trimmer has become indispensable.
Trimming nuisance eyebrow hairs to prevent the mad-professor look and importantly trimming nose hairs is really easy. Working around the ears is easy. No hint of hair pulling, it just steady trims the hair away using all the attachments. All the attachments work so very well it’s hard to understand how it’s priced so reasonable. If you’re thinking about a trimmer get this

I looked at a lot of reviews for a lot of similar trimmers and was taken aback by how many products had reviews which swung from excellent to rubbish. In the end, I opted for the Philips model as my previous one was Philips and it had given long and faithful service before deciding it had seen enough of the inside of my nostrils and given up the ghost.
I’ve had this for a few months now and my faith has been rewarded. It does a good job and my nasal garden is once again neatly trimmed.

So it does everything it say it does, B t if you’re like me you’ll be unsure how well or of it can even do eyebrows.
It can, and it does it well with long and short settings it easily trims and neatens your brows, no more bushy brow here

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersIt does what is states in the advert.

I purchased as my old style Philips nose, ear and eyebrow trimmer (the NT1150 style) was knocked from the bathroom cabinet and landed nose, blade side down, breaking the mechanism.

In comparison the series 3000 (NT3650) is in some ways an improvement yet in other it is not so good.

The motor on the NT3650 does not seem to struggle and the blade need to be cleaned after doing each nostril. On the NT1150 I would have to use the supplied brush to clear the blade during use or the motor would struggle.

The NT3650 does not provide as close a cut as the NT1150. Which is an issue if you want to trim the hairs on the columella (the bit in between the nostrils), as to stop them being visible you need a close trim. The attachments that come with the NT3650 make it more versatile than my old NT1150 (which at the time did not have a version with attachments). Although I personally have not used them and am unlikely to do so. So cannot comment on their effectiveness

Design and build quality is what you would expect from Philips (however not always what you get from Philips products, as you will see in some of my other reviews).

Overall they are a good set of trimmer.

Golden Review Award: 45 From Our UsersFortunately, I don’t have a very hairy nose + the hair in my nose doesn’t grow at the speed of light – but it grows anyway, and for a young man like me, at the age of twenty-something — this hair is an unnecessary accessory.
That’s why I bought this device — to prevent the growth of the Hanging Gardens of Semiramis in my nose.

This trimmer is great and easy to use.
    * It is powerful enough that it nicely trims nose hairs without that pulling sensation that makes you seems to make your eyes water every time. This is what I remember from other trimmers.
    * It comes with extra attachments so you could trim your ear and eyebrows as well.
    * Thankfully, this device runs on simple, readily available AA batteries.
Too many products these days seem to insist on using their own proprietary and non-replaceable rechargeable battery packs, which limits the lifespan of the tool to the life of the battery.
    * And everything is washable, which is great.

    Pros:
+ Great performance / Gentle on skin
    + Compact and lightweight
    + Easy to clean
+ Fully washable / Water resistant
+ Requires only 1 AA battery for operation
    + Affordable

    Cons:
    – No complaints!
( I will update this post if any quality issues arise )

Overall, I think this is a good buy if you’re looking for a powerful and gentle nose trimmer.
It’s affordable, it takes just one AA battery + it’s washable.

    Definitely recommended!
