Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersHave just fitted these & wow what a difference, really bright clear dipped beam & when able to use full beam the road ahead is visible for such a greater distance. Amazing, well worth the cost, longevity to be established.

Full set of headlight bulbs at the ideal colour temperature (for me) from a brand that I trust completely when it comes to light bulbs. Very happy with the output.

Yes you paid a bit more than the once you buy from the Market stall or high street shop. But not a bed price and the name you know and does make thing look that little brighter. The headlight beam a little more than you 5.00 bulb and nice it come with little side light bulbs cannot go wrong. Well pack and came safe and sound will defo buy again when l need another set which will not be for some time.

Improves the looks by making the light crisper and brighter when compared to standard bulbs, making the headlights look more modern. Also maintains road legal useage as some LED’s etc are not for road use officially.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFor me, I didn’t notice much/enough of a difference to the bog standard bulbs I had fitted previously to justify paying 20 quid.

I bought them as main beam bulbs at the same time as I upgraded my dipped beam HIDs to Osram cool blue intense, which do a fair imitation of white LEDs. I hoped these would match – they do not come close in terms of colour. Fit for purpose, but you can’t defy the natural colour limitations of halogen.

Been using these for years, they last about a year. They aren’t that white but does the job better than others. Lifespan is approximately little over an year with regular use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFitted a set of these to my Volkswagen Transporter (2013 T5.1) – they were a doddle to fit. They are certainly an upgrade over the stock bulbs, but don’t expect miracles – these are not Xenon or LED levels of brightness and the colour to my eyes is off white (I have LED bulbs fitted in the DRLs and they are pretty close, but different). I was a little disappointed with the brightness when dipped. They are however excellent when on full beam.

Longevity remains to be seen but I have done several evenings of long motorway drives so far without problems.

I think it’s fair to say that it’s slightly better than the original bulb in my headlamps As for long liberty it’s only been a month and they’re still working hundred percent. The good thing is I’ve kept the old ones as spares

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI wanted to update the colour of my cars headlamps to match the LED DRLs. A blown bulb was the perfect opportunity. I decided on these as they are legally compliant. As seen in the pictures, looking at the lights they do seem a lot whiter, overall I couldn’t really see any improvement in actual illumination when driving but to be honest, so long as there was no reduction in illumination (which there wasn’t) I was happy with the results. I needed 2 sets as I replaced high beam as well. I also purchased and replaced the fog/ corner light bulbs as well to complete the look. The extra 501 bulbs I used to replace the number plate bulbs. These also turned out whiter which was a result. Time will tell how long they last, winter should be a good test.

5.0 out of 5 stars Whiter look.

The brightness is really good especially for the price. The color is cooler than typical H7 halogen bulbs although I do not think it is as cool as advertised. Can’t speak for the longevity as I have only used them a couple of weeks.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThese were used as a replacement for my car after one of the original bulbs gave up the ghost.
Before talking about the bulbs, special mention has to go to the packaging. It was a total pain in the neck to get the bulbs out of the inner packet. So much so that I actually contacted Philips about this and they sent a video back how to get the bulbs out.

The plastic inside the packet I got was extremely brittle and not pliable at all, so it wasn’t possible to get the bulbs out without the retaining plastic shattering and going everywhere.

Now, on to the quality of the bulbs. They’re well built, and the light that they give out is second to none. There are a few reviews saying that these lights aren’t white and very yellow. I would say that this is due to the headlight casings of these owners being in a poor state of repair and that’s why the lights are yellow.

When comparing the original bulb to the Philips version, the difference was massive. There is also a great throw on these bulbs which make for safer driving at night. They’re a bit more expensive than other options out there, but they’re well worth it. Plus there are two H4 bulbs included in the pack as well which is a nice bonus.
