I bought this for my friends birthday. She said she’d loved it, and would be using it just before her actual birthday. Haven’t seen her if they worked out. Her family said what an unusual gift, and it was perfect for my friend.
I bought this as a gift for my mum and it was perfect! Well packaged and the recipe book is a great addition. All the seeds have been planted and have started to spout. Still early days, but everything looks promising so far. I do think that if you have time on your hands you could create a lot like this yourself easily and far more cheaply…but having it arrive so nicely packaged and with recipes to hand makes the gift look so much smarter.
Bought as a gift for a gin lover and budding gardener, she loved it & can’t wait to start growing and making her own cocktail ingredients.

Bought these for a gift and was sent a picture the other day, and was surprised by the number of plants and how well they are doing; I was sceptical when buying it. They are still only a few inches in high so can’t comment on end result and flavour.
although my box is missing the mint seeds. theres the pack, but when i opened it theres nothing inside! 🙁
Update:
two weeks after the purchase all my seeds have sprouted! high quality seeds. panicked a bit as i dont have enough soil to separate them. advice: make sure when you plant the seeds they’re nicely spreaded, or else you end up like me that all the plants are stuck together!

Got 4 various packs of these for people as stocking filler for Xmas when on deal of the day at just over 6 (Gourmet Flower, Cocktail Garden. Psychedelic Salad & Bonsai) – everyone loved them. Only time will tell if things grow OK.
Very nice idea if you have a gardener in the family. You get to grow the plants and then use the recipe guide to enjoy the cocktails. Just waiting to try the finished product now.
This was a well received gift however it’s only flaw was that the person who I gave it to (my mum) got one from my brother aswell. If you know someone who likes gardening and drinking it’s an easy choice of gift, but maybe should check with others incase they think the same thing.
My husband and I both like our cocktails and so are looking forward to the novelty of reaping the rewards of planting these and making our own! Maybe the kit could be sold with a partner kit of a couple of cocktail glasses and a shaker? WIll update review once we’ve planted the seeds
