This is amazing!!! My daughter is pokemon obsessed and I love monopoly so it suits us both
Literally a blessing,
Have had issues with amazon delivery in the past but this came very swift and straight to me
Very pleased
My youngest loves board games and this has been a great addition especially with the poker on theme. It’s pretty educational too being a game of adding and subtraction and using notes. Classic game with an appealing theme for kids.
The only thing that was wrong with this was it came damaged! So we can’t keep it as a collectors item. Also, when it gets opened it will be a nightmare to close. But there’s not time to send it back.
Bought this for my partner (who is a Pokemon fanatic and was over the moon!) and played with our housemates. So delighted were we with the gorgeous little Pokemon charms and cards that we forgot to even flip the board and have the standard Monopoly fight to the death! A great adaptation of an all time classic board game. Would recommend playing a Pokemon music playlist while playing to add to the atmosphere.
Bought as a present for my 11 year old Pokemon mad son, it was a bit pricey but worth it as it’s very durable and he loves it, something we can all play too
Great gift for pokemon fans. I paid just over 30 for it which I wouldn’t usually spend on a board game but the receiver was thrilled with it and has played it multiple times since Christmas.
Wanted a monopoly game to play with my parther and fam, I am a pokemon fan so naturally I go for this one. Same as normal monopoly difference is the board is pokemon roads and your figures which are metal and I think are amazing are little pokemon!
However my grandson aged 9 is very impressed with this version of Monopoly. The only problem is that Monopoly of whatever version is really time consuming for the rest of the family!
Soft spot in my heart for the Kanto region. If somebody asked me normally if I want to play monopoly I’d look at them funny, but will happily crack out this set at any time. The cutest little figures/player markers.
If you have fond memories of those first few Pokemon games, then this is a great themed monopoly to have. Try to catch it at a good price, as the themed sets can get quite pricey at points.
It’s packaged well, well presented. I can imagine a youngster would be excited to own it if they are a Pokemon fan. I can’t comment any further as it’s been bought as a birthday present in a few weeks time. But who hasn’t enjoyed Monoply?
Fantastic! Got it for my Pokemon mad 5 year old during a rainy half term week. We decided this over monopoly junior as the playing board for that seemed small and would’ve been boring quite quickly. This Pokemon edition is fantastic and even just the two of us playing, we managed to play a good 3 hours on the first sitting!
It is a fun addition to what is known of the typical monopoly game. However, i did find there to be some lack in the quality standard that the original Monopoly stands to. The cardboard was a little cheaper, the cards weren’t smooth card and frankly pretty dirty to the touch. I did like the metal tokens though there are some characters, namely charmander, whose features didn’t really show well and his eyes just looked closed and iffy.
Overall, it ruined some relationships and it saved my Christmas day from being an absolute wreck. Thanks!
I bought this as a gift for my nephew’s 7th birthday. My 9 yr old son was playing more properly – paying correct amount and calculating the change etc, but 7 yr old was more interested in the character cards and only buying if he liked the characters. Overall, it was a successful present for pokemon fans!
This game came in perfect condition and has so much use in our household. The Pokemon element adds alot of fun to the game and even my niece and stepdaughter loved the game. My son is 9 stepdaughter 7 niece 6. Couldn’t recommend this game enough. A great way to help your child to practice money transactions in a fun way.
I’m very happy with this purchase! I still have the Pokemon monopoly version of 2000 which is still my favourite to this day but this is also a very good alternative. I used to play the old version of PKMN Monopoly back when I was a kid, used to have friends over and we’d play for ages.
I guess the only little thing I wish this version had was the image of the pokemon shown on the board actually printed on top of the cards used when buying property/pokemon, just like on the old version (If you get me). But, that’s neither here nor there. You’re never too old to play the pokemon version of monopoly, I’m 24 and I’ll definitely be playing this with a few mates!
The game is very similar to the original Monopoly with a Pokemon twist. You do not need to know the characters themselves to play it.
Bespoke tokens, Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Bulbasaur, Jigglypuff, and Eevee are a bit small and not easily identified by non pokemon fans and when packing back the game, there are no designed holes for the money and all the other cards … pity
This is a very good Monooly game if your child is into Pokemon though a little over priced. Game goes on slightly too long though to sustain a 10 year olds interest for 1.5 days! Yes we started it one morning and finished it lunch time next day with meal times as breaks! Rules are mostly as we all know and love Monopoly replacing London streets with Pokemon gyms!
Just a Monopoly for Pokmon Fans. I didn’t know what Kanto was so a definition would have helped when looking. After research I gather it’s the place where these characters live. It’s not been opened yet as it’s a gift so will add to this if necessary. It is brand new properly packaged and looks like a legitimate game. When looking for it in stores, I doubted it’s existence as you could find every type of Monopoly but this one. Staff told me they had never heard of it even those that specialised in Pokemon products. Finally found it here but a bit pricey though. I could have bought 2 of any other type for what I paid for this but this is what my niece had on her Christmas List so it had to be!
