We bought this for my daughter to take to restaurant when we’re going and it keeps her entertained. A lot of small parts so maybe take a few out before taking it out with you as they are easily los

My 4-year old daughter loves her birthday present. (We bought her twin the donut one, and it is equally loved.)

It is a favourite toy at the moment at home, and will be great for taking away with them too.

At three years old, I think they might have struggled with the tiny contents, but at four they love role playing with the dolls and characters, and enjoy the tiny house, and portability of the set. They struggle with opening the “catch” at the moment, but that is not a problem.

Product looks lovely but the plastic packaging had come away from the cardboard. Had to tape it up to secure it, but as it’s a present, it makes it look second hand having to do that.

I recently purchased the Polly Pocket Hedgehog Caf compact for my daughter’s birthday and I have to say, it’s been a huge hit in our household! This toy is not only incredibly adorable with its super-cute hedgehog shape, but it also opens up to reveal a caf and pet-themed adventure that has provided endless hours of imaginative play for my daughter.

The compact comes with a micro Polly doll and friend doll, as well as two pets – a cat with tail hair and a bunny. There are so many fun activities and reveals to discover, such as opening the caf door to reveal food, playing with the kitties and birds on the tree, playing with the doggy on the couch, spinning the hedgehog playpen, and placing the cat on the cat bed.

One of the best features of this toy is its portability. The compact comes with a strap so kids can wear it as a wristlet, making it easy to take on the go. My daughter loves bringing it with her when we go out, and it keeps her entertained and engaged no matter where we are.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Polly Pocket Hedgehog Caf compact to anyone with a child who loves cooking fun and animals of all kinds. It’s the perfect gift for kids ages 4 and up, and it’s sure to provide hours of imaginative play and entertainment. The attention to detail in this toy is incredible, and it’s clear that a lot of thought went into its design. Five stars!

When I opened it, I was excited. I lIke that there are different people and animals, and that it goes with the other compact sets.

My two favourite animals are the penguin and the polar bear because they are cute.

I like the squishy love heart on the top; the compact series have different shapes and feels on the tops.

My daughter likes these toys, and she has accumilated a few of the sets over the last few years.
Compact (as the name says) play area which can be taken out for the day/afternoon etc. either in the car or backpack.
The carry handle is a bit on the ‘thin-could-break’ side of construction, and can unclick.
The clasp is ok ish, lifting up where others turn and lock slightly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it - daughters words.

I don’t know what it is about the tiny pieces but I am yet to find a little girl who doesn’t fall in love with polly pocket. I still have fond memories playing with them as a child myself!

We got this butterfly themed one for my daughter who loved it so much that she asked to buy it for her best friend’s birthday.

Obviously you have to be careful with the small pieces around any younger siblings but is great for independent creative play!

Bought this to go with the fun tower for 6 year old granddaughter. She liked playing with the additional figures and interchanging with the fun tower. Because this is compact it is good for travelling.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBrought this for my granddaughter and she loved it and loved hearing her auntie tell her stories about when she used to play with polly pocket when she was younger. It definitely brought back some memories for my daughter to reminisce with her niece.

My daughter loves these little sets and for the price and the amount she plays with them I think they’re a good addition to the toy chest. They seem to be fairly well made and definitely have play value for a child that likes imaginative play. The only faults are that she struggles to set them up, the bumps don’t seem to fit very well and things are forever popping apart which frustrates her (and me as I have to keep stepping in!) I will continue to build the collection though, we shall see how they live up to the test of time!

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI remember these the first time around back in late 80s. I was probably a bit too old for them then, but to me,they were ‘little pockets of joy’.

Now I am a grown woman with children of my own, I buy these with find memories.

A couple of years ago, we ended up with a Polly pocket, made of rubber. We weren’t impressed as Polly had no play durability.

Fast forward, I saw this on an Amazon lightning deal. I couldn’t help but notice that Polly now had the original style hard body, with bendable limbs.
On that basis, this ended up being put in my shopping bag.

The detail is lovely. All except the cardboard background, which lets it down. But the vibrant, bright colours appeals to children. The outer case is more beautiful now than it ever was.

When open, the detail has been thought of well. Little doors to open, swings to play on and dining benches to sit at. All these little pieces are easily stored in the case.

What makes Polly Pocket great, is the convenience of it. These little toys can be taken to a restaurant or Grannies house.
For us, we are flying to Florida on an 9 hour flight, and these little toys will be perfect for that.
Currently, my daughter is using it as a doll’s house for her Barbies!

These offer great value. I paid about 10 on a lightning deal and at that price, these make great gifts and stocking fillers.

Don’t buy these expecting them to be the same as the 80/90s – they are not – these are not intended to be duplicates from yesteryears. Polly Pocket, however, is still a ‘pocket of joy’ for today’s child.

Purchased as a gift. Looked durable. Well made. Good price. Cannot comment on durability, time will tell but a good well known make so confident it will last if treated properly.
