Wanted a good brush to repaint large decking. Thus brush was excellent and with extension handle decking was painted in less than half the time required with hand brush. Makes it so much easier on knees and back.
With the right long extension handle this made treating my large decking area a breeze! Just make sure your extension hand fits the brush. Fortunately I had two extensions, one fitted, but the other didn’t.
With the Cuprinol product I used the brush was easy to clean as well.
This is a well made brush, and it worked well for applying the decking oil, and it cleaned up well afterwards.
A week later, my granddaughters visited, and decided to wash my car. Seeing this in the garage, they used it with great effects washing my car. It held a great deal of water (with shampoo in it), and washed the car in no time, followed by rinsing, again using this brush, best clean ever.
I do have it on a fairly short extending pole, and they had no idea it was meant for painting, but now it has another use.
This is a stout brush, and I did not see no shedding . Well recommended.
I’d previously used a lambswool roller to stain my quite large deck (40m2). It was ok but wasted a lot of stain pressing into the decking grooves and was pretty much knackered by the time I’d finished.
Having read many different reviews of rollers, pads and brushes I plumped for this brush as it seemed decent quality for a reasonable price. Some other similar brushes were triple the price!
I took a bit of a punt that it would screw on to a decorating pole I already had, and luckily it did.
Once I started using it I was very impressed. Seemed to hold a good amount of stain, without feeling like you were wasting loads. Simply brushed the stain on backwards & forwards and it easily went into the deck grooves.
Very impressed and would definitely recommend.
after breaking my back many times over the years treating my decking (13m x 13m) with a paint brush, roller & sprayer i decided to try this brush ……. what a difference it has made, like night from day, honestly !! I had a pro dec pole already that i use for decorating and attached this to the brush. Well the time it took to treat the decking using this was 2 hours, where as in the past I would be out there all day and have a broken back at the end of it. It even does the sides of the board at the same time. If like me you hate the thought of the job and put it off as long as you can, buy this and you wont regret it. Cleaning was simple, just left in pot of thinners as i was using oil base treatment then cleaned the following day with warm water and detergent. Great purchase and very very happy.
I have two large area’s of decking, and I re-treat them every year. Usually on my hands and knees with knee pads on. Back breaking and takes ages.
Using this brush and a paint brush stick, it was quick, easy and efficient.
Makes the whole process 10 times easier.
The brush has long bristles, picks up loads of paint, and gets deep into the groves.
Just perfect.
I’ve re-oiled my decking four times now. Previously I’d be on my hands and aching knees with a cloth, or normal decorating brush. I think I even once tried a sprayer (strongly not advised).
This brush however, screwed on the end of a standard decorator’s pole, is a doddle.
Knees couldn’t handle being down on the decking but this onto the end of an extension pole did the job fantastically. Only needed to bent down a couple of times.
High quality bristles and construction – would recommend to all.
I didn’t think I’d need this really, done the deck a few times with a fence brush and knee pads, but it did make the job simple and less effort/quicker. A bit tricky to clean as it’s very dense bristles, make sure you remove as much as you can before washing out. Definitely recommend!

Used this brush to paint my deck. It’s very effective at applying paint evenly on the boards, and getting between them. It hasn’t lost any bristles and is still in good shape. Would definitely recommend.
This brush made painting decking and fencing, so easy and quick, easy to clean, and you can attach it to a decorating pole. I would strongly recommend.
Better than decking pads etc.
Just the job for oiling the outdoor timber decking; The brush is luxuriously full, and is sturdily put together. It comes at a good price for this quality, compared to the cost of the major competition. It fits most telescopuc poles, or so the label ssys, but I have bought the ProDec pole. Very pleased with this.
