Good idea. Not all seeds grow but that is what you expect. Wooden sticks lost the writing as soon as they got wet. Waiting to see how they grow and crop

I purchased this as a christmas
Novelty gift , in spring my husband planted half of the set , we had a wonderful array of salad to enjoy for weeks. Some of the plants we await , but are healthy and ready to fruit.
Highly recommend for newbies to the grow your own .

Due to Covid-19 isolation I purchased these as a fun way to start learning how to grow things. I planted the seeds 7 days ago and they all germinated so fingers cross they grow well. The instructions and tools provided are clear but you will need to get yourself some larger pots, grow bags and compost for you to be able to grow the vegetables properly.

I bought two of these box plants, as an extra, one for my daughter-in-law and one for my daughter, but will have to wait and see for the results.

Got 4 various packs of these for people as stocking filler for Xmas when on deal of the day at just over 6 (Gourmet Flower, Cocktail Garden. Psychedelic Salad & Bonsai) – everyone loved them. Only time will tell if things grow OK.

I bought this for my son and daughter in law fir a Christmas gift, as they have just had their first year in their new home and are avid gardeners growing their own vegetables. I purchased this with the funky veg kit as they look to be quirky and a fun thing to grow next year. Until they are used I cannot comment on how successful they are to grow but I am sure they will love the novelty of this. The delivery was quick and not surprisingly it is a small box (I don’t know why but I did expect it to be bigger) however when you consider the contents of small pots n seeds, it couldn’t be any bigger. Overall I am happy I chose this and will look forward to their comments next year.Its something different for garden lovers to grow!

I purchased this kit as one of the gifts the kids could give to their mum on her birthday, Although the contents are much smaller than the box, I do think the box makes it a superb gift as it’s attractive and fun. In the box you get small cardboard seedling pots, circles of dehydrated fertiliser and the seed packets. Our seeds are now sowed and we look forward to seeing the results.

Arrived promptly and in a perfect little box. This was a mothers day gift and was greatly appreciated for the novelty factor of salad variations in novelty colours. All have been planted, extra pots could be added as there are not enough, but mum always has pots lying around so it wasnt an issue. Now we wait to see if they grow!

This is a great little kit.
It arrived within a few days, all in good condition.
You get 5 bio-degradable pots and compost to start it off, along with the little sticks to write the names of the seeds on.
You may want to get a few extra little pots as you get loads of seeds in the packets. I have been able to spread them out over 2 or 3 posts per pack, or you could save some for another growing session. They certainly do not skimp on the seeds!!
After 5 days in the greenhouse the radishes and the spring onions are already sprouting. I am looking forward to some nice bright salads.

Lovely idea. However, boxing makes you think you are getting more than you are. One of the seed packs was not sealed and the seeds were loose. Happily I had bought two of these kits (one was for a present) so I was able to give the ok box.

Very prompt delivery and the boxes look lovely – won’t know about the product until the end of the summer – wish me luck

Ordered this as a gift. Box looks great when it arrives and appears to contain everything you need to grow the salad. I think I’d be quite chuffed to get this as a gift. However, for 12 I feel it’s a little overpriced. Still quite funky though!

I can finally review the product as the salad is now nearly ready to eat. All very straightforward although a lot more seeds to plant than there was room in the pots provided. Looking forward to making an artistic salad!
