I absolutely love it and I ordered more for my family who really wanted one too. The camera quality is perfect and the silicone heads make it safe to use (obviously you have to be careful and not go too deep). The battery lasts for about 20min I think, but honestly you really don’t need to look inside your ear for that long. My ear was very clean, there was nothing to clean so I cannot speak on the ease of use for that.

Really impressed about the video quality and focus. Easy to connect to your phone and use. Battery lasts with no problem (we use it for 20 min, for 4 ears and was still almost full). Build quality is great and loved the accessories.

5.0 out of 5 stars Useful little tool

Amazing device! Being able to see helps tremendously – instead of blindly poking around in your ear which might just push the ear wax back in and damage you ear. Highly recommended BUT be gentle and patient. Do not do this in a hurry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up and use

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOne of my ears were totally blocked.

Using this takes a steady hand, persistence, patience and care.

But keep going gently taking out a bit of wax at a time and it really works, suddenly there was that pop and I could hear so well.

Hearing can deteriorate so slowly over time due to excess wax and you just don’t know what is in there….but with this you do.

I used without cover to get the wax loose (with care) and then the silicone tip sticks the wax for getting out.

Simple app and setup. As others have said when in use it uses a lot of battery, it is quite small and it’s having to run a camera and stream that image via WiFi.

Such an amazing little tool. For value for money you just can’t beat it. It has a gyroscope camera, multiple cleaning heads and much more. Needs charging regularly but not too much of an issue.

The gadget is cool and does everything that it’s described to do. I had a bit of a ear infection from surfing so bought to keep an eye on my ear health. All I will say is it’s like watching the human centipede, you get through the experience but you will never be the same again. ( your body and mind know that gear like that should not be In there)

I read through the reviews before purchasing and it seemed to be highly rated and now I see why. It works perfectly, just how you’d hope it works. Had an achy blocked ear for the passed week and after using my ear is neither aching or blocked. Excellent bit of kit. A little hard to use at first but gets easier the more you use it. Highly recommended. As a bonus it came fully charged out of the box so could use it immediately.

I ordered this to be able to see into my daughter ears as she gets a bad build up of ear wax and doesn’t like me cleaning them often so it makes it very hard to see what I am doing.

This ear camera works a treat. I am able to see clearly inside her ear to remove the wax. I like the fact it comes with rubber tips which makes it a lot easier and less uncomfortable than just a plain metal tip.

The app works fine. I use with an android phone, I downloaded the app from Google store, easy to set up with no issues. The connection works well. No issues there.

Would definitely recommend for those with ear issues or just to be able to see in your ear. Fantastic tool for the price.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis is really good but abit tricky to get used to manoeuvring it around the ear but once u get used to it it was brilliant.
The only thing that wasn’t so good is that the metal top with blue cover on it came unscrewed and was left in my ear. I’ve got it out now but it scared me. My advice would be to regularly check it’s screwed on tightly as u use it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am over the moon about this ear cleaner!

It was easy to install the app onto my mobile phone. It was very easy to charge the device. And it was extremely easy to use it to clean my ears.

It has a very good camera with a very bright light to help you see inside your ear. On the app it has a left, and right setting for the camera, which helps you use the device easier. There are spare blue caps that are interchangeable, so that you can find one that works best for you to clean out your ears.

I was surprised at just how easy it was to use, how easy it was to actually remove the ear wax, and how painless it was to use also. I was able to clean not only my own ears, but also the ears of my 7yo granddaughter. The dark orange lump of ear wax that came out of my left ear was quite shocking to me, no wonder I couldn’t hear so well lately!

It was fascinating seeing such clear details inside our ears. For example, I could clearly see the pale grey mass inside the deepest part of my ear which was my eardrum. Incredible.

I would NOT ADVISE you to allow a child who is less than a teenager to use the device unaided, simply because it require adult supervision where children are concerned, their ear canal is shorter and it would be easy for a young child to hurt their ears, they could easily push it in far too deep.

Would I advise you to get one of these devices? Definitely YES! For pain free ear cleaning, this device is perfect. It’s the best thing I’ve bought all year!

Works well, surprised how much came out. The image is just one ear but nothing out the other. It is quite fiddly to use trying to get to the right spot and scrape where you need/want to go but for first use it’s not bad. I’m sure it’ll get easier the more I use i

4.0 out of 5 stars Works as it should but quite fiddly to use

Pretty fun to see inside your ear but hard to use the tools and camera at the same time. Costs too much for the amount I will probably use it. I did find out my ears are totally different shapes having had surgery on one and that confirmation was interesting.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI keep getting ear infections so wanted to see what was going on.
It was very simple to set up with my phone. I held phone between my knees which I pulled up in front of me and this worked well for me. It’s obviously not doctors ear camera quality but I could see my swollen ear canal and with a bit of pulling my ear around could just see my ear drum which was a bit red.
Camera wasn’t bad . My ear, which was sore anyway feels a bit sorer , but prob from me trying to get the hang of working out how to see through camera best .
I actually would really recommend this .., off to play dr and check my families ears for wax now

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersI really like this device, it’s easy to use, good quality and works well.

Set-up was pretty straightforward, you download the Suear app and then link the device to your phone by turning it on and selecting the button that says Go to connect. This takes you to your WiFi settings and from here you can see the Suear X8, select it and go back to the app and you will have an image on the centre of the screen.
You have a button at the bottom of the screen that flips the image for left and right ear. I found the left ear image confused me and I have to use the device in right ear view for both ears and I can navigate well this way. The diameter of the probe is nice and small and I had no problems going into mine or my childen’s ears with it.
The scoop has a nice soft silicone sleeve on it which works well, it’s very soft so you need to persist when removing wax but it gets the job done.
I was very impressed with the quality of the image, ears are surprisingly hairy and I find using this device both disgusting and fascinating in equal measure! You have a photo and video button on the app screen so you can capture images or videos, but be warned, it surprises you when you are scrolling through your photos looking for something and come across your ear pictures!
I have had problems with my left year ever since bursting my ear drum a few years ago and swimming regularly. I had a continuously itchy ear for 2 weeks before deciding to buy this. I could see straight away that as well as wax build-up I had a red, sore area in my ear. After a week of spraying my ear with a spray for outer ear infections and working at the wax every couple of days, the soreness is now gone and the ear is clear.
It’s currently impossible to get a face-to-face doctor’s appointment. Over the phone, all they say is to drop olive oil in your ear, so this for me was a much better solution. I can now see right into my ear and see the eardrum which has red scar tissue on it from where I burst it – I would never have known this and I will probably always have slight problems but at least I can see why now.

This worked well in my 10 and 13-year-olds ears, no problem reaching in and scooping out some excessive ear wax, they had both complained of ear aches in recent months, so I was safely able to clear blockages.

If you are having any ear trouble I would highly recommend this device, it works brilliantly and you can see for yourself exactly what’s going on.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good quality camera - Easy to use.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWith most surgeries no longer offering ear wax removal, it can be expensive to get this done privately. I had been suffering with a blocked ear / head for a number of weeks, used various drops to no avail. Decided to get this to see what was going on, and hopefully remove any blockage myself.

It’s a great piece of kit, works well and it helped me to determine that I had a very angry looking ear! It was also quite sore when the device touched the skin inside my ear canal so I called the surgery who had me in to take a look and confirmed that I had an ear infection.

It’s very tempting to use the scraper to get out any bits of wax (I did and it was quite satisfying) but you shouldn’t really put anything in your ear, let alone something that has the potential to cause damage. My biggest concern was that the silicon tip would come off in my ear as it does slide on and off very easily with your fingers. I would have hated to have to explain to the doctor that I’d been playing around in there with a gadget I got off the internet! Fortunately I didn’t have to and he was none the wiser.

So as others have said, be very very careful, as you could make things worse, but to determine what’s going on, it does the job!
