I tried cheaper microphones and regretted it. USB plug and play makes it easy to use. (I’d recommend getting a USB hub if using other accessories). It fitted well on a budget microphone stand and came with connector. Basic base is fine. Cable length is long enough. If trying out streaming – get this. Poor microphones stand out for the wrong reasons and this will serve you well.
This is a great microphone if you are tight on space or simply just want a small microphone that doesn’t get in the way. The sound quality is great and its very easy to set up and get working.
Significant improvement over my integrated laptop microphone. Reduces background fan noise and when used closer to my mouth sounds professional. The included desk stand is nice to have but I would recommend purchasing a separate boom arm to isolate keyboard and desk sounds.
I am plesantly surprised by how amazing this mic is. I started streaming not long ago and wanted something good to start off with, but didn’t have too much money to spend. It turned out, this mic is great quality, it picks up my voice but nothing that is happening around in the room. Love i
Works great with discord and audacity
Have used to record videos for University, VOIP calls, and online gaming
Sound is clear and microphone is easy to set up
A better stand would be nice however for the price I cannot complain and the mount may allow for compatability with other microphone stands anyway
Firstly this has a unique and crisp sound to it as a streamer it’s hard to find good budget mic but this it’s just to simple overall good but there are some problems with it firstly it has no mute button on the mic second it’s not wireless but I can’t really complain as it is probably the best budget mic in the stock right now.
Sounds incredible AT such a goo price use it for discord, meeting and games always get tailed the mic is amazing super easy to use just plug and play just set it it to you default mic in the settings and your all good
Wow, I have to say that the Razer Seiren Mini has exceeded all my expectations! I recently purchased one of the priciest webcams on the market, only to discover that the internal microphone was simply unbearable.
When I found this microphone, I was a bit skeptical and didn’t expect much from it (due to the price), but I have been blown away by the difference it makes in my audio quality. It’s incredible how such a small and affordable microphone can provide such excellent sound quality. (Check out my video to see a comparison of the sound quality).
This little guy packs a big punch and is perfect for video conferencing, live streaming, or recording videos. And the best part is that it won’t break the bank, so you can have amazing audio quality without spending a fortune.
Overall, I am beyond thrilled with the Razer Seiren Mini and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple and effective plug ‘n play microphone.
It’s a super awesome little mic. you do need to fiddle with its placement a bit to make sure that you get the most out of it. But, it is a great little starter.
I have a really small stream setup so this is absolutely perfect for me! Just sits on my desk. Downside is no mute button so you have to use OBS for that but it’s a great little starter mic and I doubt I will upgrade for a good while!
I’ve had this mic around 6 months or so now and it’s been one of the best improvements to my streaming.
for a cheap ish usb mic that you just plug in and go it sounds stunning, has decent surround vocals so it doesn’t have to be directly in front of your mouth and it can be mounted to a mic arm, though a note if you’re doing that the supplied cable is kinda short if you’re wanting to cable manage it around the arm and the desk so depending on your desk size a 2m+ usb cable should be on order with this mic (luckily it is just a standard micro usb cable so any will do)
Its very easy to use as you just plug it in via usb, but you may need to change the default voice settings in discord for example. However i have been getting complements on the quality and its great to use as i can communicate very easy with team mates on games or just talking in a voice chat. Would recommend and i wish i found this earlier. Perfect for gamers and streamers
Truly the definition of plug-and-play, this mic boats great overall sound quality. It is compatible with microhphone arm and i have had no trouble when using it with any application on my PC.
The only thing that this mic may be lacking is a manual mute button, that would be pretty handy.
Otherwise it’s great overall and I have no complaints, it’s a good feeling after going though so many crappy gaming headsets to finaly have somthing solid.
The mic is great besides the fact it has no mute button, also the part where you screw into the stand is also damaged and now wont screw in properly
besides this, the mic has great quality and is good for streaming and recording videos!
Bought it and never looked back. So glad that I didn’t splash out on a microphone double or three times the price.
Tip: if you are carrying this around, put a sock over the microphome so that the black paint on the speaker is protected. (Remember to take it off when using it!)
If using a musical instruments, then perhaps you will need a more expensive microphone.
It’s a fairly good mic, it’s compact and light but still pucks up some good quality audio. At first I had to turn down how much it picked up because the slightest noise, such as tapping on the desk, was picked up.
Its a brilliant little mic, and exceptional value if you can find it on offer. At full price, theres better options such as the SoloCast, but its unbeatable around the 30 mark.
2 minor issues though
As per the product description, there’s no mute button so you need to find your own solution to that (I use MicMute with a keyboard command bound to mute/un-mute)
Although the mic has a 5/8 thread and can be mounted to a 3rd party stand or mounted arm, the black adapter rod supplied with the mic is not 3/8 or 5/8 so isnt universally compatible. It will only thread onto the Razer stand.
Setup was easy enough, just plug and play with no software needed (other than setting it up in windows etc to be an input device etc)
Sound quality seems good. Cable fits nicely into slot so looks seemless.
Just wish it had a mute button on the device!
Overall very robust and compact, the sound quality from it is very good for the price, can’t complain too much other than the wire feels as it’ll bend and break thanks to the hight of the stand but I’m happy with my purchase
People seem to think i sound better and clearer on it, doesn’t pick up breathing sounds or clicking of keyboard if you have it far enough way from you / keyboard, seems to be built well, stand is sturdy even when you tilt the mic back (doesn’t tilt much) , simple plug n play works right away, can be unplugged and even with programmes that use mic running it’s doesn’t need any fiddling to get it work again if you unplug it. will update after more use. was out of stock but was delivered in 4 days. at 30 quid i’d say it’s worth the try over other cheap mics.
