I was unhappy with the product I bought , so I commented on it at my review, but RDX contacted me immediately and gracefully offered to replace it.
Great service, kind , swift , amazing.
that’s how you build a great brand, way to go RDX.
***I will buy from them again***
BTW I have their boxing gloves for 5 years now, still in great shape.
Really notice the difference using these, only been taking boxing fitness a few weeks. Before using uses, even wearing gloves, was surprised how painful it could be. These have been a game changer.
I am pleased with this purchase as this Boxing wraps are fit to my hand size and I tested them by training the punch against Boxing punch bag/speedball. There is no problem with that. (no tear nor loose wraps)
Worth recommended buy
It looks nice when I put it on, very cool like in the super hero movie. However the problem is when wearing it punch the round sandbag, sometimes my fingers get scratched.
I bought those for my boyfriend and he was really happy with them. They’re well easy to put on, they’re comfortable, my bf told me he cannot feel any pain in joint what he had before, they suite perfectly, absolutely happy with those.
Thought they would be good as on paper they are what I was looking for. To go underneath gloves for bag work for extra protection.
They have good wrist support and good knuckle protection and looks smart, they run on your knuckles causing friction burns
I have been boxing for 10+ years and am very impressed with the quality of these wraps. They make hand wrapping very easy (especially for beginners).
Just be careful re the size. I misread the description and purchased L as I thought the wrap length was longer. However, that is not the case and I really should have went for M.
I’ve used these wraps now for about 3 weeks, strictly for boxing pad work and heavy bag drills.
They were initially a bit tight but they quickly wore in after a few rounds on the heavy bag.
The knuckle support is adequate, not breathtaking, but adequate and sufficient especially if used with 14oz gloves or bigger. The wrist support is not as good as traditional hand wraps, but is sufficient for basic heavybag work. The only real flaw with the wrist support is the velcro, as the strip isn’t quite big enough to adjust them to your liking. This has never bothered me as I’m just doing basic work, but someone doing continued heavy striking would benefit from better wrist support.
I’ve not experienced any of the pain or the hand/finger wear that others have reported, they have always been comfortable and supportive.
Overall, these are good quick wraps at a reasonable price. RDX make some great entry level fight kit. If your not an elite striker, these will do the job, especially if you want something quick to don rather than wrapping your hands properly.
Basically when it comes to wrapping your hands to use with boxing gloves you have a choice to make – are you going to spend a lot of time training with the wraps and gloves on. We have 4 in the family that do a lot of boxing training, including myself. Two use wraps and 2 use these RDX inner gloves. Two box competitively and 2 participate only in the training. We have all tried both and it’s quite clear that the 2 “real” boxers use wraps as they train for over an hour at least 5 days per week and the other 2 use these gel mitts. I’m not the real boxer so I use the mitts and the reason I feel these are a better choice is that I do not spend a lot of time training with gloves and therefore the mitts allow me to put on and take off quickly. For users of wraps you would also need to know how to wrap correctly as doing this wrong could cause various problems – the mitts remove this worry.
For shorter training sessions <1 Hour, the mitts are great and I've never had any issues with them causing friction burns. The wrap around the wrist is very good and keeps the hand and wrist quite firm. I've had these for a year, using approx 30-40 mins 4 time per week, and they are still in great condition. The only issue I would say is that for longer training sessions the gloves start stretching back up the hand, moving the gel part to the top of the hand and away from the knuckles. I normally don't pull tight when I'm putting them on so they start further round the knuckles.
I would say for beginners or intermediates these are great to use and highly recommended.
