I consider that the straps are substantial and good quality. I would therefore say that they represent good value for money. I am new to using this type of strap and there was no instruction of any type supplied with them.It might have been useful to have some basic information on how, when and in what circumstance they should be usedThat said as with any weightlifting exercises it’s probably best to consult a trainer on their use and if that isn’t possible there is a raft of info on the net. I am pleased with the product and they have assisted me in my work outs although as I said it is my opinion that advice should be sought on their use possibly prior to buying a set. Having made the decision to use them I am more than happy with my purchase and they have met my expectations in terms of enhancing my workout sessions
I’ve used these straps from this brand myself for over 3 years with the same pair. They look and feel great, and show zero signs of wear and tear. I bought this other pair too and again, amazing product. Definitely helps on the heavy deadlifts when your grip gives out. Highly recommend, great brand
I’d never used straps before but I was struggling to keep hold of the bar with the weights I was trying, figured I’d give these a go after trying their belt – fantastic.
Easy to use and seem strong enough to withstand time.
Love the choice in colours and patterns. The straps themselves are long and strong. I’ve been using them for three months now and they’re still sturdy. The material is durable. They can handle heavy weights and heavy usage too. Definitely worth buying.
Here is my review on the RDX Gym Straps
1. Quality: I find the quality very good and has a sturdy feeling to it. The cord of the strap has a premium quality touch and it feels very comfortable on both of my wrists. The rubber part which is the grip, has a strong, solid and sturdy feeling to it which allows me to grasp my weights comfortably.
2.Comfort: They are brand new from the pack so as soon as you where them they can at first feel very sturdy and hard to break in to make them soften, of course the feeling is comfortable and they have a good sense around your wrist which they lay comfortably on your hands without any problems once you start wearing them more often.
3. Value for Money: Compared to what’s on the market today I find this an excellent price point. Worth every penny.
4. Color: I bought the one Black ones with the Red rubber grip. I find them so stunning and they match perfectly with my gym outfits 🙂
Overall I am a very satisfied customer.
IuI like these types of straps, the grip is very helpful as I have found with other brands my hands still slip slightly but these are perfect and are not completely stiff so do not haveto be broken in as much as others I have used
As described. Nothing more needs to be said. Would buy again if I needed too.
Good quality straps with foam padding and nice colour options.
Great wrist wraps and really help with back days at the gym. Very reasonably priced and the camo print looks cool
Deadlifts and ROWS nailed down with these.
Will last for years.
Decent wraps worth the money, I always use Rdx wraps they are the best imo
I have quite poor grip strength. These straps have helped me perform heavier RDLs and DLs without having to drop the bar mid-set.
very good quality, comfortable and hold up well with heavy weigh
Very good value for money. Helped a lot with control and really helped to focus the main muscle groups on all exercises, for the price its a no braine
Useful and good price, but the seam near the wrist is sharp so it sometimes scratches my skin, which is quite unpleasa
Very versatile lifting straps that offer additional grip support on a multitude of exercises. If you feel some of your lifts/exercises are limited by your grip strength, then definitely consider grabbing these.
I recommend going without the straps for the majority of your sets to help train grip strength, but chucking them on for top sets to ensure grip strength isn’t limiting progression elsewhere.
Also, for some people, it’ll be a nice positive that they aren’t branded with XxGYM_ExTr3me*BEASTMODExX compared to some of the alternatives on Amazon.
brought them thinking i’d need to buy them again in a couple of months but they are truly amazing!! i’ve had mine for about a year now and there still like new, the padding is well placed and there so comfortable, very grippy and gives good support, i got mine in green and they look exactly like the picture
These are really good and sturdy. Certainly do the job.
Sadly they don’t fit as well for those with small wrists like me. As you can see the Strap buffers up to the black wrist cushion and there is still loads of room on me. That’s my only down side
Good quality but the material is itchy along the edges as they are kinda sharp.
Good price and they do the job. I’ve been able to lift much heavier than without them
Thought I’d come back and write a review after all these years. I would add that the pair I have are so old that the logo and colours are different to what’s in the design now in the photos.
However I’ve been lifting with these regularly (1x a week) since 2012 with a month off here and there over the years and they have not let me down at all. I primarily use them for deadlifts and have been lifting around the 120-140kg over the years for quite a few sets and reps without an issue.
They’re as comfortable as you ‘d expect from the traditional style lifting straps – there willl tend to be a little place here and there that dig in to the bony prominences at the base of my palm but it’s unremarkable given that the sets are only 40 or so seconds. This is mostly due to having really small wrists so my workaround has been wearing wristbands under the straps. Withou the wristbands the actual gel/foam pad almost meet on the other side of my wrist.
I’d say they’re fairly easy to use although sometimes I find it a little annoying how long they are but I’ve just learnt not to completely wrap the whole load of strap around the bar. They’re also super reliable as there’s no stretch or give in them which is important if you’re lifting with less of a clench in our grip and more of a hook style grip.
