Went together easily, and appears to be sturdy, whilst it is described as having a mattress, its not something that could be used for more than one night, so we purchased a thicker mattress, that aside item is as described
Its perfect for my grand daughter
To those who are struggling with the sides, put them up first then push middle down.
I bought this for when my grandchild came to stay.
It’s lovely and easy to assemble and disassemble.
Just be careful to check the measurements when ordering your mattress.
Study, compact, easy to assemble and put down easy to store away when not in use. Highly recommend
Bought for my 8 month old grand daughter’s visit. So easy to erect if you remember to click the side pieces before popping the bottom down. Sides are sturdy enough for a mobile. The mattress is very thin so I bought a Brillars 95x65x7.5 (UK made) for 24 and a pair of Babyprem fitted cotton sheets for 14. Absolutely perfec
Perfect for when my granddaughter stays over, easy to put up and down and compact enough it doesn’t take up much room when not in use. Very happy with this product and a great price too.
Bought to replace another one I’ve used for a year for my son who sleeps next to my bed
We dont use as a travel cot we use as a permenant bed and it’s fab
His had a build of of spilt milk and stuff which has gotten mold on base and mattress wood slats which cannot be washed out so I wanted to get him brand new one.
I’m in love with this
It’s well made , sturdy , great size for my room and more importantly my 14 month old sleeps well in it ( we have to have top raised slightly to help with his breathing and it’s not wobbly at all. Feels really rigid and secure.
I will be recommending to friends.
Lovely travel cot. Easily assembled, very sturdy & my baby granddaughter has slept with comfort. Great value for money too.
This travel cot is so easy to put up and down….I can highly recommend it…
Use Travel Cot to look after my baby grand nephew when he stays with us. Would buy again from this supplier. Fast delivery to N.I. Recommend Highly Many Thanks William Co Armagh
I purchased this for when my granddaughter stays over and I’m not disappointed. Great quality, easy to put up and take down with ease and compact when folded. Not to low down so easy to put her in and lift out (she’s 13 months old).
All in all I would recommend.
I only have one negative comment, which is the base could be a little thicker if you are using for a good period of time.I’ve been looking after my granddaughter as her mum has covid so I would recommend purchasing a separate mattress.
I bought this for my granddaughter to sleep and play in and I can’t be happier. She loves it. There is enough room and it is easy to assemble and to pack away. I would definitely recommend that you buy a suitable mattress though to go with it. The padding mat in the cot is no more than a ground mat. On the whole happy with the purchase and the colour.
This is the second time I’ve purchased this travel cot. I absolutely love it. My first born slept in it well and my newborn loves it too.
It’s very easy to assemble and clea
Grandma is a legend for not being able to assemble the simplest things. Grandad is even worse, however, Grandma did manage to assemble this by reading the instructions carefully and following them.
Gran hopes you will buy this for your Grandchild’s visits as it is reasonably robust and with the addition of a mattress it would be very comfortable.
Very quick and easy to put up and take down. Seems very well made and like it will last a good time. Looks good too.
Only con is that the padded base is not very thick. If using for longer periods a mattress could be added though.
Bought to put all my collection of reborn dolls in I managed to get 6 in so very big a lot bigger than I thought so its upstairs quite easy to assemble good price
Love this for my granddaughter. Slightly smaller when packed up than the one I had 30 years ago for my own babies. Excellent value. There is a bit of a knack to putting it up, so make sure you follow instructions, then it is easy. Base is more padded than some more expensive ones. Safety leaflet explains why you must not use additional mattress with it.
I’m really impressed with this. The instructions weren’t clear on how to erect when I first recieved it but after a quick youtube search I figured it out.
You 100% need to buy a matteress. The ‘matteress’ included is not a matteress it’s a hard, thin surface, it wouldnt be comfortable at all. Thankfully because of other reviews warning about the matteress I bought one at the same time and it’s perfect.
The travel cot is easily to fold down and store away. My daughter is 5 months old and has grown out of her crib. Her cot has been built in her bedroom and were unable to move it because its huge! Were not ready for her to go in her own room yet so shes in the travel cot for the next few weeks. She sleeps in it 100% better than her crib too!
Would definately recommend.
Love this! And love the colour, popping it up takes a bit of muscle as the bits that you pull and click in are difficult to stick for me and it will collasp, I can’t seem to get it but my partner can.
I read the reviews which seemed to have mixed feelings about this travel cot but knew from others that it was a very good item so ordered it. From out of the box to fully assembled in 2 minutes! There’s nothing complicated about this whatsoever it just needs some common sense when setting up but everything is pretty obvious. The only problem I had when collapsing it (other than keeping it together as it tried to escape in various directions on our hard wood floor like a rampant squid!) is that the long side clips keeping the siderails together, they need to be un-clicked from both sections to allow the cot to fold properly. It’s just one small thing to check but once aware compacting it back down is really easy. Also take note of how the mattress (that wraps around the cot) first detaches as you find an extra set of velcro straps that weren’t there when first undoing it not realising you need to further wrap the mattress around overlapping to get the first set of straps to go through flat eyelets and secure back over themselves.
The key to success is to have a trial run setting up and packing away before using it in anger, you’ll be an expert after that!
As others have said the mattress is quite thin as by design it is effectively a soft material bonded to a sectioned hard board (to allow it to fold/wrap around the frame in transit) but for an item that is designed for occasional overnight stays and not be a complete ballache to carry around – it’s perfectly acceptable. If you want further comfort then purchase a separate mattress and add it to the plethora of other baby equipment in the armoury!
p.s. The Raspberry colour is actually very nice and rich!
I’ve bought two of these, as I have two baby girls. They’re really nice looking cots, pretty hardy, withstand all my kids pulling and leaning on them to see their sisters. The one thing with them is they’re not so easy to clean, especially around the top edge and they do need regularly wiped. I just use some soapy water but they do dry really fast so that’s the trade off.
To comfort, you need an extra mattress, even if they’re only used for naps, the accompanying mattress (it’s not even that, it’s hardboard covered with fabric and padding) isn’t good for a child to sleep on. But it does support the shape of the bottom of the cot for a mattress to go on top. Works fine. I got mattresses for cheap to use and it’s much better.
Folding away is great. Really closed up compact, even the accompanying bottom folds up and it has its own storage bag. I rarely close mine up but when I do it’s easy to store away.
I would still recommend this. The mattress thing is the same with most travel cots and the wiping over isn’t a huge issue.
This is a nice looking travel cot and easy to put up. Just remember to click the sides up before pushing the centre pole down. The only negative is that the heart design that is around the edges isn’t on the mattress as shown in the photo here. It is in fact plain pink. It doesn’t really matter but it would have looked nicer, and the photo shown here is inaccurate. It’s also worth mentioning that the mattress is quite hard and thin with a little filling, as it’s just the cover that folds up around the travel cot when it’s collapsed. I’ve bought a mattress to go inside just to make it a little more comfortable. But overall for the price paid it’s a nice, sturdy cot.
