This is the only thing I use now to style my hair. Having previously used hairdryer then straightener. My hair feels in much better condition, and I feel that it gives much better results. Would recommend.
This is a foolproof hair dryer/styler. The choice of tools for different hair types makes drying and styling so easy I wouldn’t use an ordinary dryer. There’s no fiddling with a hair brush and a dryer as all it needs is to click in the right brush for the hair type/style and style. And it all fits into a neat pouch for storing/transporting.
Really happy with this product, I have fine curly hair and always struggled to get any volume when I straightened it and could never coordinate my hands to use a hair brush to do a bouncy blow dry! This make its very easy though, dries hair quickly, smoothly and adds some volume.
I’ve bought other dryer brushes in the past but have always had to return them. I have long, very thick, naturally curly hair that easily becomes frizzy. I just dryed my hair and had the best results ever! I rough dried my hair first, to about 80% dry and then I used the big round brush to finish it off. I made 6 sections and started at the nape of the neck and worked my way up until all sections were dry and styled. It was faster than using a straightener and very lightweight. If I want to add curl I can do that later. Highly recommended!!
This hair dryer/styler arrived quickly to my home in the USA. I have been using it for a week and have another week to goit truly works even better than I thought it would. Thank you for having a great product available.
The product it’s lovely, has 3 brushes which it’s great, I find it very easy to use and great to change from brush to brush, I just wish when handling the curling one would be a silent mode for that purpose without having them constantly on blowing mode. Other then that it’s a great product so far.
This is such an easy dryer to use, I’m not the best at drying and styling my hair, this has made such a difference. Hair looks good every time, love button to release brush so never gets tangled in hair.
This is the only heated brush that I have found that works on my hair. There was an issue with overheating however the item was replaced within a matter of days and I’ve had no issues with the new one.
Leaves hair feeling smooth and sleek.
I had an earlier version which lasted for many years. This one is modernized visually, attractive and feels like good quality. I was concerned that new thicker style handle might be too thick for my ageing, arthritic hands but it’s actually fine. I prefer a stick-shaped hairdryer with a styling nozzle, rather than the standard shape of a hairdryer because I have short hair and find it much easier & lighter to use. I use it with a separate styling brush and have never used the other attachments. Very happy with this purchase. P.S. Stickers on the box and bags warn you not to open it unless you intend to keep it which is a bit counter-intuitive since one has not been able to feel and hold it, let alone seen it physically before buying online! Thankfully, I was happy with it!
A good product, I love how works in cold temperature. Its not too noisy in comparison to others. The only thing I have to say is sometimes the tools are so hot and is imposible to remove
Description misleading, the best and speed button are the same, it is very hot in use but turning down the best reduces the drying power. Would have preferred separate buttons
I have bought this multiple times. I have thick curly hair and it is great for blow drying some style into my hair. The only downside is it only lasts me a year as I seem to literally wear it out with my thick hair and the brush eventually becomes loose and it cuts out. It is only 29.99 though and the best one of its type I have found.
I always have a problem blowdrying my hair as its thick and dry. I have tried different hairdryers but this hair styler definitely does a good job and in less time. I still use straighteners afterwards but this styler gives body to your hair so that even using straighteners afterwards there is still a nice lift to it.
This was a panic buy, after my curling dream died a death.
The large end with bendy bristles is excellent, as is its smaller twin.
Avoid the ends with hard plastic as it got stuck in my hair and caused a mess.
Overall it’s really good for adding body and dries hair quickly. But I no longer try to create a curl with it as this is when I get it stuck.
Wow!! Just wow!!
I have really thick, wavy, coarse & prone-to-frizz highlighted hair; I fell in love when a hairdresser first used straighteners on my hair and I’ve been hooked on straightening my mop ever since – we’re talking 18+ years!! I’ve used/purchased all the best models from GHD (the old ones were so much better) to Corioliss (still my go-to narrow faves) to Cloud 9 (wide plates). I tend to dry my hair naturally, then run the straighteners through it (twice a week) but I’ve noticed that my hair’s definitely thinning and breaking off (especially around the front) so I thought I would try a hot brush as saw something advertised & thought I’d give it a go.
Well – I have only used twice (so far) & the first time I nailed it – flicked the ends around & voila – wavy smooth hair!! I even got compliments! The 2nd time I spent more time on it & the results are amazing – I allowed the hair to lightly dry naturally (for about an hour) then sectioned off & worked it dry each section at a time. My hair is full of volume (but not pouffy) with a really lovely wave! I’m so happy as I don’t need to straighten every week (which is berter for my hair) so I’m highly recommending this hot air brush! What’s not to love? The price is outstanding for a 1000w model, you get additional click-on brushes, depending on the style you want & a bag to put them in! I didn’t notice it getting too hot but I can imagine it would if you’re using with very wet hair so perhaps invest in a heat glove? I love this product & I’m so glad I purchased it!!!
I am rubbish at doing my hair, I have never been able to blow dry my hair properly with hairdryer and brush and I tend to just whack my hair in a pony tail as it is quite wavy but not in a good way. I had seen the revlon airstyler but didn’t want to spend60 on something I might not like or use often. I spotted this online for less than half that price and thought I’d give it a go. It’s brilliant and really easy to use, even for a cack handed lazy girl like me. I wouldn’t use the small concentrator personally as if you just want to blast dry your hair this would take too long. However the other attachments are great. Dry your hair till it’s 90% dry then section off and use the large round brush for smooth haired bouncy volume. It took me a little while as I’m not used to doing my hair but no longer than using straighteners. It is very light so doesn’t ache your arms and shoulders. The handle could be a little thinner but I do have small hands. The retractable bristle brush is great for soft curls. I haven’t used the smallest brush yet, that might be best for my fringe. I mostly used the lowest setting but when I did use the highest heat the styler didn’t get too hot to handle although obviously you wouldn’t touch the ceramic directly. One slight negative the cool shot wasn’t cool it was still warm to me. I was so pleased with my hair, it looked shiny and bouncy and I achieved this without too much time and effort. I would really recommend this to anyone it’s great value, and you get a heat proof little bag to keep it in.
I have been using these kinds of driers for nigh on 25 years and find them extremely easy to style with to volumise hair. Not all are created equal though and when it comes to the time for me to replace my current one, I have to shop around carefully.
First off you need at least 1000w so that you have both the drying power as well as styling – CHECK!
Secondly, the barrel needs to be nice and large to achieve the volume effect – CHECK!
Thirdly, attachments are nice, this comes with 3 brushes (one with retractable bristles) and a nozzle – CHECK!
Fourth, I found out a few years ago when buying a certain high profile brands new entry into the market, that if you have thick hair and use such a styler every days, you need firmer bristles. Soft bristles just dont get through the hair sections and end up bending due to the heat and the hair pressure. So you need either a mix of the thick plastic rigid ones and some firm hairbrush type or at least firm hairbrush type so that it not only holds the hair and styles it correctly but also so that it lasts – CHECK!
I had to knock one star off unfortunately, purely because of the power switch. Where it is positioned is where you hold the dryer when in use and they have made it too slidey. It moves too easily, so I am often knocking it from half power to full power when styling which can get annoying.
I have had many a Remington air-styler – my favourite of these always being the Remington Big Shot, which was discontinued some years back, much to my consternation. This one looked as if it might be similar, so I ordered it and am so glad I did.
It has a large barrel and the bristles on it are a mixture of hairbrush and plastic bristles, making it strong enough to glide through even thick hair and without snagging – very important! I have medium textured, long hair and lots of it and it glided through it with no problems at all.
It has a nice long cord and two heat settings, plus a cool setting, and at 1000W is more than powerful enough to dry the hair in a matter of minutes, thus cutting down on the amount of time your hair is exposed to the heat. It doesn’t overheat and doesn’t make the hair smell ‘hot’ like some do – this might have something to do with the fact that the motor/filter is quite large and the space between the bristles are quite wide, thus allowing the air to circulate better. This is also great for creating that wonderful volume we all look for in an air-styler.
You can use it to blow dry your hair straight or create nice bouncy curls and because the barrel is quite big, it is able to take larger sections of hair; this means you can cut down on drying time when in a hurry or, if you don’t have much time in the morning before heading off to work but still want to make sure your hair is styled.
It comes with several attachments – the large barrel and then two smaller ones – one with just plastic bristles and the other, a smaller version of the big barrel. It also has a blow dry attachment which allows you to get right to the roots of your hair and add a bit extra lift. All the attachments can be stored away in the nice, black cloth pouch included, which is great as, not only does it keep all the attachments together in one place, but it also protects the filter/motor from dust.
I am going to go as far as saying that this is the best hot air-styler I’ve ever bought and over the years, I’ve purchased several. I would even go as far as saying that it is better than the ‘Big Shot’ – and that’s really saying something!
If there is one downside to it, I haven’t found it yet!
Highly recommended.
