I have waist length hair and drying it can take ages, However with this one it has cut the time I spend drying my hair in half as I use the hair diffuser, so happy I bought this product.
I am very impressed! Marked 4/5 overall simply for the weight.
I absolutely love this hairdryer. My hair is frizz free and it makes my hair soo shiny and silky.
It is a little bit heavy and I am quite strong but definitely can’t hold it in the same hand for the full drying time.
The best hairdryer I’ve ever had so I decided to buy their straightener too 🙂
I love this. My hair is wavy. Using this and the diffuser, I now have a mass of curls. They feel really light, my hair falls beautifully and the best thing was it dries really fast. I don’t agree it’s heavy like some reviews. Might be heavier than your old one but it’s not heavy in itself. Looks stylish and the motor is quiet. Love it.
I bought this to replace another Remington product which had been badly designed and was dangerous. This is much better! Compared to most of my dryers to date, it is more powerful and causes less frizz. The diffuser is excellent. I wish the control buttons worked the other way – down for on and up for off – but that’s just about me getting used to it. Best benefit: I can use it holding on to the barrel instead of the handle for pixie drying with great results.
My wife dry’s her hair in less time than she did with the old dryer. Not as noisy. She’s happy with the results so that makes life so much easier for everyone.
This hairdryer is quite heavy but I’m getting used to it. Works well but finding the buttons to be easily changed while using but guessing I’ll get used to that too. My only real issue with the hairdryer is the cable gets very easily tangled – my straighteners and my previous hairdryer have slightly thicker, weightier cables which stay straight. A decent enough hairdryer though.
It has great drying power!
Bad side…
It is sooo heavy it is quite awkward to use and also, where the buttons are placed on the handle makes it quite difficult to hold as there is no where to hold without a button!
Very good hairdryer, you get a nice result that looks professional. I bought this to replace my old Remington hairdryer.
It is a bit too loud and also the way the buttons are placed it is easy to accidentaly turn it off while holding it.
The first one i got had a faulty cable but it was quickly replaced.
I bought this a week ago and I’m really impressed with it. I have fine, fly away hair that fluffs up at every opportunity and I can honestly say that this hair dryer severely reduces the fluff and eaves my hair shiny and smooth.
It is heavier than a regular dryer so it may be more difficult for older users but I am 42 and have gotten used to the extra weight. I don’t think it dramatically cuts drying time but it’s definitely more efficient than my old hair dryer. The speed and heat settings are excellent but I’m not sure the keratin setting actually does anything but it might do for other people. All in all this is an excellent dryer and leaves my hair feeling smooth so I highly recommend it .
The weight is the first thing you’ll notice using this, it’s much heavier than my last one but it is manageable.
The angle of the nozzle is weird, my last one was a 90 degree angle so I’m having to get used to a more tilted angle hairdryer, hopefully won’t take too long.
The handle is thicker than my last one too so doesn’t sit right in my hand, and I can see now why people were mentioning that they catch the buttons.
I think it’ll get a little bit of getting used to it but as for functionality it works very well. It’s nice and powerful and that’s the main thing I was looking for so I’m happy with it for now.
The lead is nice and long as we which is a bonus, it’ll just take a bit of getting used to it I think.
A week of this hairdryer has left my hair soft, smooth and easily manageable. Something that I have attained for it to be for ages. I’m using the same products I always have. The only factor that has changed is the use of this hair dryer.
The heat from it, even on its highest setting isn’t as intense as my last hair dryer, but that’s clearly a good thing. And saying that, it’s hot enough that it seems to dry my hair in almost the same amount of time.
Zero issue with weight of product for me. I do agree that grip is a bit u comfortable at times due to the buttons, but for the outcome I am getting of my hair looking and feeling as it does- it’s a non-issue.
I’ll update my review in the future when i try to use it to straighten my hair with the brush, but it seems to me it’s gonna work just fine, cause the highest heat and speed setting are quite powerful. So far, I’d recommend it to anyone with the curly hair because of the low heat setting. And also, lowest speed setting is satisfying.
It seems heavy at first, especially if you never used big hair dryer (like me), but after few minutes you’ll figure it out. It’s not to heavy for me, my arms don’t hurt when using it. For this price i couldn’t ask for more. I’m planning to pair it with bigger diffuser though.
I found this to be quite straining to use for styling due to its weight. It’s not ridiculously heavy or anything, but it’s important for anyone who doesn’t have a lot of arm muscle to consider that before buying. I would say I’m stronger than the average woman due to weight lifting and I had a bit of a ache while using it to heat style. The dryer itself is easy to use (the plastic purple bit around the nozzle threw me off a bit though, it at first seems like something you’d take off but apparently not) and has a sufficient amount of settings. The button placement is a bit awkward – as it is on a lot of hair dryers cause there’s really not that much space to put them – so I did get some accidental pushes. Especially with the weight it sometimes takes some effort and awareness to place your hand in a way that’s not going to press anything.
