Bought this to replace my previous Remington trimmer that had failed after about 30 years use. This new one looks smarter than the old one and the battery cover is more secure. Most importantly it works well.
My first Remington clippers lasted more than 30 years (battery leakage got it), so I hope these outlive me…
Used a couple of times (not rated battery as not rechargeable and only 5 days old), and thus far no complaints. Does the job for a song and you even get a 3 year warranty.
This is a simple trimmer. No frills but it does the job. Just put in a battery and away you go.
It does do what it is meant to do. And what they said it does, it does do. Try one and you too can do one too !
Does the job. Better than the other one that I have got.
Only used once since buying. Seems ok gif what I need for now
NE 1 lasted for 20 years or so, this is as near a replacement as I could find. I got my NE 1 working again, so now have 2, which should last me until I conk-out.
Old style trimmer, the new ones have a cylinder guard that restricts cutting of facial hair. Not as well made as back in the day, but cuts better than the new ones. The on and off is controlled by twisting the handle. You have to be careful as if you twist too far you release the battery. Over all I prefer this old school trimmer.
Not so good , the blade is not easy to use for the ears
I was not satisfied with the results from my trimmer with a circular cutter. I find this one to be more effective.
Great value for money, had to replace my old one and this one has a similar cutting blade design. Not quite as good as my old one but then it’s new to me so that might change. Much better than typical housed blades absolutely no regrets !
Does what it says on the tin – but only four stars as I don’t think it’s quite as good at ‘close cutting’ as its predecessor that I had for 6 years before it finally died.
