Revlon Hair Tools Pro Collection Salon One Step Hair Dryer and Styler, Black
How to get a sleek look with Revlon One Step
Achieve salon-smooth hair in half the time by following these easy steps.
Step 1 – Getting started
Always towel-dry hair to remove excess water and detangle with a comb or brush. Select the High setting (II) for thick or coarse hair and the Low setting (I) for fine or thin hair.
Step 2 – Start drying and styling
Starting with the bottom section of hair, place brush dryer over the hair and close to the roots. To prevent over-drying, do not concentrate the airflow on any one area for too long.
Step 3 – Get the desired look
Repeat for the remaining sections until desired look is achieved. Create a centre part using the tail of a comb and smooth the hair using your hands to finish the look.

Used by two daughters and wife. All report back that its a great tool for aiding in drying hair and most importantly getting the tangles out. For this it works very well.
Sadly it is very, very noisy, much more than a hairdryer in fact. Also, it’s pretty thick to hold so can be a bit cumbersome to manoeuvre.
It would take longer to fully dry hair over a decent hair dryer.
Those issues aside, it does have a nice long lead and the plastics and the comb section feel of good quality and do not snatch at the hair or scrape the scalp.
So, for the price we had this for we are happy but I would not pay too much for this.
Works well. My 4b hair would take an hour to be fully blow dried but with this my whole head is done in 20 mins and it is basically pin straight. Ive had it for a couple months now and i have noticed that it doesnt get as hot anymore but maybe it has to do with the fact that i am using a uk port in an american socket with an adapter. We will see if its good when i get back to thr uk but for the most part it is nice.
I like a simple and quick routine when it comes to my hair and don’t have much time to spend on it.
I have shoulder length, fine straight hair, but quite a lot of it.
In 10 minutes, with this drying brush, I can get my hair 90% dry, and that’s with me separating my hair in 3 or 4 sections only.
It’s easy to use, but I find that even though I have fine hair, I need to use the brush on the highest setting. I probably could use the lower setting if I spent more time drying my hair though.
A very good blow dryer. Now I can blow dry my own hair without struggling with a comb and positioning of the blow dryer. I’ve not experienced any heat damage, I use it on the low heat setting. My hair feels full and fluffy each time.
It does what it says, its pretty nice, but I wish there was a middle temperature like in hair dryers. I have to start with the highest temp and almost dry my hair, cause it gets very hot and then with the “fan” finish it off with a lot of passes through the hair for it to be completely dry, and not even then, but its nicer than using a comb I guess, doesnt leave the hair straight as when you use a comb but its still nice
Wow!! This is great! Def recommend 🙂 It is lighter than it looks and just glides through my hair and as I have long hair, this means I can dry and brush at the same time 🙂
I have the most stubborn 4c hair, medium length and thickness, and beginner hairstyling skills to boot. But this blows my hair out very nicely, easily, quickly with very, and I mean VERY little hair left in the brush. Only con I can think of is it does get a little heavy in the hand after a while, but it’s still very manageable. Coming from someone who likes to cut every corner imaginable, not skipping sectioning, even if they’re rough sections, will save you a heap of time.
Having read the reviews, I was a bit hesitant in purchasing this but from the moment it touched my hair, I could see that it really worked. For me personally, I would have liked a bit more heat on the highest setting but that’s probably because I’m used to my hair getting fried! Nonetheless the product is easy to handle, helping me reach the back of my hair with ease. I did run it through my sectioned hair a few times especially from the root to let the hair get evenly dried, but I’m pleasantly surprised by the end result. I don’t blow dry my hair all the time, in fact it’s been a while so my hair seemed to react nicely to the heat the product was producing. A good investment for me.
The Comb dryer is good but only for certain types of hair. When I had my 4C hair, it was absolutely useless, it couldn’t at all comb my 4C hair, however now that I’ve got relax hair, I love it, it’s absolutely good, so check your type of hair. I don’t think you’ll benefit much from it if you’ve got a type 4b/C hair.
This works very well and is very easy to use. As a 4C girl, it’s probably the quickest I’ve been able to blowdry my hair effectively. I do wish though, that their settings state what temp. it is on but other than that, it’s grea
This paddle brush hair dryer is just so awesome, honest. I have a long wavy hair that gets tangled just as soon as it’s been brushed/combed, which means pulling. Ouch. my pain threshold is not the highest, even after delivering three children in 20 plus hours labours, so when the brush pulls my hair I go mad and feel like crying. Hence never ever could I use a hairdryer in one and a paddle brush in the other hand. I needed better control of the hair, I physically have to
Hold the strand to be comfortable. Well, however weird my review may sound , this brush solved all
My troubles. My 7 yo daughter has got lots of curly hair too, this hairdryer makes it smooth and easier to control. I use it for the youngest lady in the household too, she’s only 2.5 but enjoys the royal treatment 🙂 there’s three heat settings, I tend to start on the highest and then change to the cooler setting as the hair gets dry.
I’d highly recommend getting it if you want to smooth out your lovely locks.
You take care now.
So I bought this because I have 3 daughters with strong afro hair which I have to maintain.
(I feel I should mention that this thing doesn’t care what type of hair you have, if it’s knotted it’s coming out)
After a wash I had to spend an unfortunate amount of time Drying n straighting out the hair so it can be plated. This used to take me about 60 minutes per Head to dry n straighten properly from the root!!!
NOW!! Drying n Straighting can be done in 15 20 minutes and may I add, done really well!!!!.
This thing takes 90% of the hassle of doing hair ( from the root of the head) by just brushing.
The reason I gave this a 4 and not a 5 is because I wish It was bigger so I could capture more of the hair at one time.
In other words…its too small!!!!
…so I bought the bigger one….
It’s a yes from me!!!
As a 4c girl, I bought this so that I no longer have to deal with the comb attachment on a regular dryer that just keeps falling off mid way or breaking. I was so excited to use this but I found out it does take a little getting used to at first.
Pros:
– Light and easy to hold
– Controls are at the bottom (you rotate it), so no more accidentally turning off the dryer or changing the setting midway
– Blow dries nicely once you know how to use it. As another review said: brush VERTICALLY. It makes the difference, trust me.
Cons:
– It’s LOUD. I had to wear ear plugs because I felt like it was deafening me!
– It takes a while to heat up. Skip the first setting because it was so lukewarm it was doing nothing so I went to the second setting and still thought “is this it?” Turns out it just takes a few minutes to really heat up then it gets hot.
Solid 4/5 from me. I wish it wasn’t so loud and got a bit hotter but it’s good. Overall, it took 15 minutes to dry my hair and I have very THICK 4C hair so it’s well worth the purchase.
