I had not heard of this brand before, but I will definitely be trying more of the products.

This is luxury in a small bottle!

It’s simple and works. Smoothes skin and plumps/hydrates, helping your skin to look healthier and better!

I absolutely love it. No irritation. Safe to use on dry skin.

First of all the cream is packaged and bottled very nicely, it feels and looks like a premium product.

The serum itself smells amazing, glides onto the skin like a dream, absorbs quickly and leaves the skin feeling silky soft.

I feel that the fine lines around my eyes are instantly decreased after application , so I’m really pleased with this product!

This is a nourishing face balm by Robyn Skincare that’s designed to be a natural yet effective retinol-based balm that’s gentle enough for all skin types. It claims to help skin in various ways, from reducing fine lines, scarring and pigmentation, to firming skin, preventing skin damage and providing super hydration.

This is non-comedogenic, which is important so it doesn’t block pores and make the likes of spots and blackheads worse. It’s free from nasties, so there’s no artificial colours/preservatives/fragrances, and no parabens. It’s also cruelty-free, which is really important, and vegan-friendly.

It comes nicely packaged inside a larger external box and then a small internal branded box, with the balm in a little glass pot with screw top. There’s also a very sweet mini spoon in what looks like rose-quartz so you can scoop out the right amount. It’s very well presented and does feel like something quite special.

To use, get “1 level spoon” of the balm onto a clean, dry hand and then rub your palms together in order to melt the balm. Then gently massage into the face in an upwards motion, and also apply to deck and dcolletage if desired.

There are a few key powerhouse ingredients here, such as plant-based retinol Bakuchiol, Cupuau Butter and Aai Berry Oil. The ingredient mix includes antioxidants, vitamins and minerals to boost skin health, which is quite appealing on top of the potential to reduce fine lines and firm up skin. It’s also designed to help improve complexion overall, reducing pigmentation, spots and any acne scarring.

This has quite a smell I can’t quite describe, but it’s more natural, a bit herbal and woody. I’m not particularly keen on it, but it’s not too overpowering and doesn’t linger too long, which is good.

It’s a pretty hard-packed balm that reminded me a bit of petroleum jelly. You get a bit on the palm of your hand and rub your palms together, or do the same with your fingertips which is what I’ve done, and the balm starts to soften so it can be massaged into your skin. It has a greasy feel to it and I noticed it didn’t seem to absorb into my skin; after a few hours, it still sat on my skin so every time I touched my face, my hand came away greasy. It doesn’t really seem to absorb fully, or maybe it’s just my skin and others will find it does.

The brand doesn’t suggest applying moisturiser afterwards and it doesn’t state how often to use the balm, so a little more information would be helpful. I’m using it once a day at the moment in the evening and this does very well for moisturising.

Despite the feel to it on my skin, it does what it claims as a balm to deeply nourish and hydrate. My skin definitely feels softer and looks smoother, but to get the bigger potential benefits like reducing lines and wrinkles or firming skin, the brand suggests using this regularly for about 12 weeks. I wasn’t super keen on my first use with this, but as I used it more I started to really love it and how it melts when you rub the balm, how moisturised and relieved my skin feels once it’s on. It seems like it plumps my face a little as well, which I wasn’t expecting.

I’ve not had any redness or irritation when using this so it seems pretty gentle to me, despite being classed as a retinol balm. It doesn’t cause the peeling I’ve had with using a retinol serum, perhaps because of the strength (not sure what this is as I can’t find a percentage anywhere) and because it’s a plant-based Bakuchiol retinol. It is pretty pricey for a small-ish tub, even if you don’t need to use a huge amount per application, and I think this is probably partly to do with the mix of natural ingredients.

All in all, this is a beautiful balm for calming and hydrating that improves the health and appearance of my skin. I’m not keen on the smell or the greasiness it leaves behind, but it does seem to work really nicely.

Finally a product which ticks all my requirements :

    1) Suitable for sensitive skin
    2) Vegan friendly and cruelty free
    3) cream/balm which does not block pores
    4) does not cause any side effects

This balm has been fabulous. It comes in this very cute pot along with a spoon which is basically a guide to how much is needed. It smells amazing. The consistency of this balm is thick but when you rub it between your palm it melts and you can easily apply to the skin. I suffer from dry skin and have pigmentation. This balm has worked wonders on my skin and I can already see the difference. I use it overnight. It has left my skin feeling softer, hydrated and I have also noticed slight change in my complexion. My skin feels clearer and I can see slight reduction in the pigmentation spots too. Only a little amount is required so the balm will last me for some time. Extremely pleased with the results and will be purchasing them in future for my personal use.

    Highly recommended.

Hope you find this review helpful.

I am really happy with this skincare serum the texture is lovely and when I have rubbed it in it sinks into my skin and does not leave any greasy feeling behind.

My skin feels lovely and soft and looks much brighter after using this for a few days, so I am looking forward to continuing using it.

Overall I do feel it is worth the current price of 52 as looking after your skin is important.

This is a nice cream. It soaks into my skin easily and is silky smooth textured. I don’t know about the science of it but don’t worry that it has acid in the formula, it doesn’t do any chemical peeling of the skin. It does, however, leave the skin very soft and plump. It does help the face. I don’t have many dry areas or wrinkles so I have started to use it on my elbows which are dry and it has cleared them up a treat. This is probably the best cream I have used on my body so I can see why its this price.

I have never heard of this brand before but apparently is a very premium high-end brand. This is probably the most expensive serum I have ever tried as it is only 15ml. I was looking forward to trying this magic in a bottle.

The serum contains Bakuchiol which is a natural alternative to retinol, it is less irritating and would be great even for people with sensitive skin. It also contains Hyaluronic acid to deliver deep hydration and plumpness to the skin. The serum has a lotion consistency but absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue. After just a few days I can confirm that my skin does feel more hydrated and smoother to the touch.

This serum deeply hydrates and replenishes my skin. It looks healthier and more supple. Overall, I am happy with this product so far. Definitely recommend it.

I had never heard of this brand until last week and I tried it for the first time last night, using it after the facial cleansing oil from the same brand.

The cream comes beautifully packaged, feels like a really premium brand and comes with a tiny stone scoop to get the right amount of cream out of the pot.

I am going to use this as part of my nighttime routine, it left my skin feeling so supple and soft, I felt like I had just had a professional facial, rather than a wash/wipe and moisturise!

It smells lovely and I think you can tell that it is a quality product made from natural ingredients.

Very pleased. Skin feels soft today too.

This balm is a mix of emulsified oils which quickly melt into your skin.
The scent is light and fresh and a little goes a long way.
It looks unlike any skin product I’ve used before but feels luxurious.

his is a miracle worker for my sensitive skin! i have a mixture of oily and dry skin on my face and every product i’ve used previously has never helped even my skin. this however has worked wonders in as little as one use!
i washed my face with my usual facial wash, let my face dry off slightly until damp and then applied 1 pump of this facial cream and massaged into my skin. it dries super quick, doesn’t feel heavy on your face whatsoever & it left my skin feeling amazing! it didn’t make me oily nor did it bring out my dry skin.
i woke up this morning and my skin looked amazing!
this is worth every penny in my opinion! i will certainly be buying it in the future.
    highly recommend.
