It is comfy but after a long session it does start to drop off and you need to give yourself a break. Have found the legs do squeak a little bi
Its a good value stool that can be adjusted to different heights by moving a bolt. Its easy to assemble and the legs fold in so it can be stored on its side easily. I found the seat to be too hard for my bony ass to sit on it for very long though (its harder than an office chair for example) I doubt it would take a lot of knocking about, but in normal use should last, unless you do what I did & fail to tighten the nut properly & it gets lost, my fault I guess. Best thing is the price & the fact it packs away quite small, down side is you soon sink through the padding & you are limited to the bolt holes for adjustment unlike an office chair that can be any height.
The only thing is the bolt used for the height adjustment does not fit well has square end for a round whole.
Bought this for my electric kit as i was constantly swapping my stool from my acoustic kit and back. This is a cheap option but is fine for what i need. I’m 86 kg and it feels sturdy enough. I have seen some bad reviews but in reality you get what you pay for. Cheap and cheerful but does the job. I’m not a Pro and i don’t sit on it for more than 30 minutes at a time. No complaints.
If you are tall like me over 6 feet, the adjustment will not go high enough so I found a longer piece of 25mm chrome pipe, drilled some new holes in it and now OK for me.
The only thing that let this down badly was a round tube that the feet were on, was actually being fitted into a smaller hole that wasn’t round, but oval. Had to get my specialist tools for bending metal to bend open and reshape it to fit the small bolt. Be careful not to over tighten the bolt as it’s plastic on metal. Once I managed it I think it is comfy and can be height adjusted. Got it as a package with th drum kit. But as I was away for ages and only just built it, then it was too late to send back for a refund. Hopefully it will last now.
Hence just two stars for assemble.
The stool is OK, I played only for 30 minutes and was comfortable but I’m afraid that more than an hour could become the coushion flat, so is good option for practice not long time, by the way is easy to fold and you can take the seat off for an easy storage, doesn’t take much space, the best point is you can regulate the high and which is very good and the main feature.
