Spend the extra money and get this pedal. So much sturdier and nicer to play than the cheap plastic black ones
Bought this for my midi controller and it does the job perfectly.
Does just what it’s supposed to do. Used for a couple of months so far.
This style of pedals work best with a keyboard as they don’t require as much force as the blocky variants. This particular one also has a switch to invert the pedal which comes in handy sometimes.
Its a reverb pedal. It’s a pedal for reverb. It works on our old Roland E15, brilliant!
Bought for my daughter who’s a grade 7 pianist. It works really well with her keyboard and quickly replaced her old Yamaha pedal. Recommend.
Fantastic value for money. Sturdy, and works with my Yamaha PSR SX700 and Korg Liano L1.
It’s so good that I decided to write a review. Worth every penny. Thank you! 🙂
Excellent little pedal .. works on the newest yamahas it’s only a bit jack so it’ll work on any keyboard with a large headphone jack
It is a bit light so I had to tape it down. Other than that it works fine. It has a polarity switch so if its not working make sure to adjust that. I am going to buy a few more for my other keyboards in my home studio.
Bought this to replace a casio pedal for my Privia px350.
It’s early days to write a full review but 1st impressions are very good. Build quality is very good on the exterior, obviously I can’t comment on the interior components. Nice firm pedal and does exactly what it needs to do. I’ll review this pedal again in a couple of months.
I have tried it on Yamaha and Casio keyboards. Works well on both brands.
We use this for our Kawai digital piano. It produces a sustain and had a switch on it to either turn it on and off with a press of the pedal or only have it on when the pedal is held down. Could be better weighted.
A good value pedal with an on/off switch. It runs off the keyboard, so no extra mains lead to plug in. It is sturdy, considering the price. Happy to recommend for all but heavy usage.
Well packaged and protected. Feels to be a solid pedal. Quiet action and decent weight required to press.
Nice to see a reverse switch built in as some don’t offer that. And I did need to switch modes for my application.
Only thing as a slight negative is that the lead could do with another half, to full metre adding, as it barely reaches to the back of my keyboard, so I have had to order an extension cable. Not a deal breaker though
does what it promises to do and looks the part. what do you expect? It is a momentary switch. I only replaced an earlier version as the old one got bashed heavily during a move.
I’m a learner piano player so my alesis piano came without one of these. This seems to be a solidly made professional quality pedal.I’m a guitarist so I know a bit about the quality of instruments and accessories. I recommend this.
Great pedal. The fact you can change contact from NC to NO ( normally open or normally closed) means it works with my roland and m-audio kit with flick of switch.
Response is good on foot and its a good size so easy to locate without looking around when fiddling with kit.
Really good produc
Sounds good and doesn’t slip away easily.
I had an even cheaper one from a different brand before, it lasted one year and I used it nearly every day. Apparently, even the expensive ones don’t last forever and come with issues sometimes, so if this one lasts a year again I’ll be happy, and everything else is a bonus.
Pedal works well with my Go Piano and assorted synths.
Pretty cheap and plasticky but its heavy enough that it doesn’t move around too much.
Just wanted something that I can sustain notes with and this does that perfectly.
I guess if you are keen pianist this might be considered a bit too rough and ready, but for the novice I’m sure its fine.
It appears to be the same pedal that can be bought from various sellers from China, but as this is RockJam branded its available to ship direct from Amazon on a next day and only fractionally more expensive. I wouldn’t necessarily recommend any RockJam product (they seem to specialise in very cheap ‘kids’ pianos – the type you would by for child knowing that they’ll never actually use it, and if they did take an interest you would probably want something better!) but as the pedal is just a switch not much can go wrong with it 🙂
This is not a Rowland type quality, but its not a Rowland’s type cost either (!)
Using it to start/stop an Alesis SR-18 drum machine – and it does the job just fine. No frills just a simple foot switch with switchable normally open/closed switch.
You would not want to use this on the road as its not really robust enough and the cable is a trailing one, so if it gets damaged or pulled its a soldering job (lost a star for that), but great for light studio or home use.
Would I buy it again – Yes.
Very well made for the price. I liked it so much I brought a second one for a different keyboard. Both took seconds to get working. Has a nice solid feel and heavier than anticipated. Suits my needs perfectly and would recommend for the casual player no problem.
For the price I’m not going to complain too much but the only issue I’ve had with this is that it gets knocked about easily and I wish it was heavier so it would stay in place better. It stays in place fine while I’m playing, but I have it on carpet and against a wall.
