We decided (the wife) that we (me) were going to change a dripping monobloc tap without recourse to a plumber. I ordered these, they made the job almost effortless, you really should get these if you’re going to change your tap.

Very prompt despatch & delivery. These box spanner’s were just as described (exactly as I required), & purchasing from this site was half the price of local retailers for exactly the same product!

Used these to fit a kitchen monoblock tap.
They really help make the job quick and simple. I only wish I’d bought some of these last time I changed a tap, they make life so much simpler.
    Cheap price too… Bargai

This was the most frustrating and dissapointing item I bought from Amaxon. Changing avtap is a difficult job at the best of times. Only to find that the shaft does not allow the threaded bar to go right through. The result is that it will not fully tighten the nut holding the tap down on the worktop. I had to cobble a socket set together to finish the job.

Removing / fitting a monobloc tap can be really fiddly. Getting a spanner on the securing nut is not at all easy. This simple, and good value, set makes the job easy. No skinned knuckles. No blue language. The packaging, if opened carefully (remove the three staples) can even be used to store the set. I’m very pleased with it, and am happy to recommend it.

These come in very handy if like me you have to change the kitchen tap for a new one because it is cheaper and less hassle than trying to find replacement ceramic valves which give up the ghost within the year or eighty months at the very most however much you have paid for the tap. I am on my third tap in three years. My original with rubber washers lasted forty years.
Ceramic washes don’t work ,but these little things do.
Cheap and they work and are what you need when you are replacing your new yearly kitchen tap

Good product good value only use it very occasionally but makes a near impossible job easy
Would have been better If the 3 sections fitted together
Used in conjunction with a socket ratchet and extensio

I recently fitted a JASSFERRY monobloc tap to a kitchen sink using this spanner set. I don’t think it would have been possible with the supplied installation tool. Two of these spanners were connected together to make a very long spanner which could be turned using a socket and ratchet. Sweet!

Been messing around changing taps on a couple of basins at home, one in particular which was a small ensuite basin fitted close to the wall. This tool made a tricky job very easy, can’t believe how simple this makes tightening up the pesky nut that holds the tap in place. Brilliant.

Bought as a useful tool to be a good SIL (son in law) but unfortunately the big one not big enough for their new tap (needed 17mm) , but worked grand on my old sink trap hence 4 stars.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersA good and well made set of box keys that turns a fiddly job into a breeze. Super value item.
A couple of tips to know.
Most small mixer taps use the 8 or 9 mm spanner, this can be extended by slipping the large spanner over the free end to provide a longer handle which gives enough grip to tighten the small threads.
If space is tight, use the shorter end of a cranked Allen key to act as a swivelling tommy bar for max pressure or just slip the longer end halfway through to give a T bar grip.

I needed to replace a broken mixer tap on a bathroom basin. There was no space to get a normal spanner in to turn the nuts. Somebody said the word tube spanner and blew my mind! Ordered these for less than a fiver on a Saturday night, delivered on Sunday afternoon, tap replaced by Sunday evening. These are excellent quality, far better than the price tag would suggest. Well engineered, strong, long, perfect fit, no slipping off the nuts like with cheapo spanners. I can honestly say these are the best tube spanners I have ever used and I’m very pleased I bought them. I’m trying to think what else I can use them on. Treat yourself, you never know when they might come in handy and you certainly won’t be disappointed with these bad boys

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersYou will.

You’ll be sat there reading reviews, staring at the screen thinking “I have enough tools and could probably get away with using something I already have. Yes it’ll be harder, take more time but I could do it. I’m certain if my life depended on it I could do it with some other tools and a bit of elbow grease, a tiny bit of sweat … I mean how do you think they got on in my grandfathers day? They managed! They built ships, canals, bridges. Even further back in time they built the pyramids and Stonehenge for goodness sake. Am I just being soft? Do I really need these? Really, really need these?” …

… and all of that is true. The thing is, in the time it’s taken you to read this you would have tightened the monoblock and be on your way. You’d likely come away with skin still on your knuckles too. It’s the type of tool you need infrequently if you’re a DIYer, but when you have use of it, THEN it’s worth the money. Just don’t go storing away somewhere “safe for later”, so safe you forget where you put it.

Have used this set several times. Well made, well designed and does what it’s supposed to.
