Took mine to France recently easy to put together and easy to take apart again and fit back in the thin box it comes in, into my roofbox to bring back home.
The initial product sent had a default. Its rotating speed was slow regardless of the setting. So I had it returned via the Amazon customer service team and received a replacement withing 48hrs. Very happy with my purchase but happier with the speed and understanding of the CS team!
The previous standard fan that I bought, two years ago, looked exactly like this one, but ceased up.
This one is manufactured by a brand that I recognise and as soon as I started to assemble it I could tell that the quality is much superior.
So, it goes to show, pay a little more and get a better product (even though it may look identical in the picture).
It’s a very lightweight fan. I do think it has quite a cheap feel to it but I would expect that given the price. It does what we need it to do on summer nights and cools our room nicely. It’s relatively quiet so great to use in my Sons room during summer. It was easy to assemble and only took me about 10 minutes.
Get’s the job done,
Light and not so loud though it’s 3 functions seem the same the head keeps falling instead of holding it’s position.
Bit Difficult to Assembly and seems a but fragile for a Russel Hobbs Item to be honest.
I’d recommended if your looking for the best you can het within this price k

The last few years we’ve been moving desk fans around the house from room to room. This year i decided enough was enough and purchased this pedestal one for the lounge! Its slightly bigger than our desk fans which means more air is being pushed through it and where its height adjustable, we’ve been able to adjust it to the perfect height for us all! It was easy to assemble and seems of good quality! Definitely recommend!
We’ve had a few pedestal fans that have been quite flimsy and have been very loud and this fan seems to be a big improvement in both those areas.
It is pretty basic in terms of features but does well in the areas you need to work.
Bought this particular fan as it was modern, and exactly what we wanted to keep our FurBaby cool with these extreme temperatures. Our boy loves just sitting getting cool (obviously from a safe distance). He’s currently snoring, sleeping soundly being cooled whilst outside temp is soaring.
Dislike instructions as they are written with small pictures. Once assembled the screw on thing to the fan doesn’t screw on all the way, but never less it still works. Product is fairly easy to set up and it is working a treat keeping me cool in this hot weather.
This fan has helped me get through the heatwave, it’s pretty much the same as all other fans like it, but the feet and stand are way more sturdy that others I’ve had. Definitely my fav so far!
Very nice fan and definitely good for the price, it was easy to put together and i love that you can adjust the height. Only thing is the first setting is a bit too powerful but that can be a good thing for some people.
The power of this fan is great. Only problem is if your room is really warm the fan will also push out warm air… other than that… the fan is brillia
Very affordable! It works well but not strong enough when its more than 2 meters away from the bed or sofa. It has to be close to you. It’s also very quiet. Love this item! Thanks
I have a box bedroom and it’s ideal at even just it’s lowest setting, the higher settings would be too much unless it hit 20+ degrees in Ireland and I just have it rotate and it’s so lovely and I find the sound is super minimal, I have sound sensory issues and this is perfect
I worried about the length of the cable since it has to go around my dresser of drawers to plug into the only sockets I have but thankfully it fits so make sure you have an extension lead or not far away to plug it into
Easy to assemble and I didn’t have a screw driver for one part of it but google thankfully let me know I could use tweezers among other things since I don’t have tools myself

It’s so light I can pick it up with two fingers. That’s both a pro and a con. It’s very easy to move around, but feels like it’s so flimsy I’d be impressed if it lasted a year.
I’m knocking one star off because of the lack of adjustability. It’s awful. Horizontally, it’s OK, but vertically it just doesn’t point downwards at all. Also, if you want this for your bedroom during the night, then it’s a bad choice. For a pedestal fan, it’s loud, even at its lowest setting
Got half way through assembling this fan before I even realised there are instructions (which are not overly informative.)
Almost ended up returning this item as it leaned alarmingly – the base is lightweight plastic and the unit is very top-heavy. While dissembling the base, I noticed one leg had not quite clicked into place, which solved the issue. This problem was not at all easy to spot and the instruction booklet provided no warning.
It’s quieter than the similarly sized fully metal fan I already owned.
The fan is quiet which is ideal, mainly made of plastic so very light but maybe very easy to knock over. Works even after the delivery driver chucked it over a 6ft fence and its not exactly in protective packaging so it’s durable. 5 stars for fan as its priced about right and but 0 stars for delivery as they didn’t even ring the doorbell…..
This fan is OK. It’s very quiet. The only thing I would note is that the items come thrown all in the same box. I couldn’t find the instructions until halfway through me stumbling around trying to put things together, plus the small screw and the nut to the screw is completely loose in the box so it’s extremely easy to lose. I would not have known about the screw had I not heard a rattling coming from the box and seeing a nut.
A plastic fan which is good enough for less warm days. Didnt serve the purpose during current heat wave in London (July 2022). For normal summer days, Its a good buy in this price.
Ordered it with prime. Got it within 48 hours. No tools needed to assemble it. Alright quality of plastic. Used it in 30C June day, worked great ventilating fresh air. Ideally place it near a window, leave a door on the other end open for ventilation, should cool down the room – other than having it right on yourself which works even better. Used to it for 10+ hours at a stretch, no issues. Oscillator works great too.
I was iffy about ordering it bit would 100% order it again specially for what you get in the price. Works very well for a single/double room with 1-2 occupants.
