This hoop is quite heavy and hurts the waist when you first start. However, after a couple of days the pain subsides. I defiantly recommend this if you are looking to lose weight. The skipping rope also helps.

My 3 yo daughter kept falling out her cot bed since we turned it from a cot to a toddler bed . I bought this and it actually fits easily under the mattress . It is abit unsteady because the cot bed mattress is thin – the rail moves around but once my daughter is in it then the rail is secures and she hasn’t fell out yet so it does the job . I would say the colour looks like a black. Would have liked the pink one but delivery for that was not prime delivery. Overall good for the time being .

This helped my son a lot. As he falls out of the bed. It’s supports him well and is ease to place. Fits well on his bed and is good size. Would prefer it long but still it’s good.

Absolutely perfect for 3 year old toddler in bed. Fine for us. For a younger or conversely taller child, you may prefer a wider one. Like the mesh which ‘gives’ a little allowing the child to rest against it in comfort.

Two people required to pull the guard to its full length and click securely in place.
Once built a great addition to stop my grandson falling out of bed. On sleep overs

its a good product and I ordered another which never arrived, shipping kept getting ‘delayed’ and everyone i spoke to told me something different. I ended up cancelling my order after waiting a week. I would not recommend buying this simply because of the shipping/delivery and the way it was handled when I tried to speak to someone and get an honest answer about where it was.

Gd price light weight & does the job. Previously had bought lindham ones for my older kids, this one is lighter and mayb not as durable being plastic arms that go under the mattess but it’s easy to move if you were to take it over night somewhere & has held up well to my toddler pulling it frm all angles. Very pleased with it.

I always worry about falling my son from bed. After buying it I am relaxed. It placed easily under mat and it is firm and couldn’t be moved easily. Good performance and support.

Raising a toddler can be a rollercoaster, and safety is a top priority. This nifty bed guard has proven to be a game-changer in our household! We recently transitioned our daughter from her cot to a “big girl” bed and this bed guard gave us the peace of mind we needed. It’s super easy to install, and I managed to fit it under the mattress in just a few minutes. The guard feels sturdy and reliable, which is a godsend for our little one’s nighttime acrobatics.

However, the mesh isn’t as tight as I’d hoped, and our daughter’s beloved teddy bears often slip through the gaps. We also noticed that the fabric is a bit loose, but nothing we can’t manage. It’s exceptionally portable, a major plus for family trips to Grandma’s. It collapses well but would have been fantastic if it came with a carry bag. All in all, it gets the job done while being a great value for money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is perfect for preventing my not quite three year old from falling out of her new “grown up” bed. It needs no assembly, just pulling into shape, fits the bed with no problems, and is large and strong enough to stop her rolling out of bed. It’s obviously completely portable if you should want to take it away with you. A great buy! I recommend.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI recently purchased the Safety 1st Portable Bed Rail for my toddler, and it has been a game-changer for our nighttime routine. Here are a few reasons why I’m thrilled with this product and highly recommend it to other parents:

    1. Exceptional Safety and Security:
The primary reason for purchasing a bed rail is safety, and this product delivers that perfectly. The rail provides a sturdy barrier that prevents my little one from rolling out of bed. The design is robust and reliable, giving me peace of mind knowing my child is safe throughout the night.

    2. Easy Installation:
One of the standout features of this bed rail is how easy it is to install. It took me only a few minutes to set it up, and it fits securely under the mattress without any hassle. The instructions are clear and straightforward, making the process smooth and stress-free.

    3. Portable and Convenient:
The portability of this bed rail is fantastic. It’s lightweight and folds down easily, making it perfect for travel or visits to grandparents’ houses. Despite its portability, it doesn’t compromise on safety or stability, which is a huge plus.

    4. Durable and High-Quality Materials:
The build quality of the Safety 1st Bed Rail is impressive. It’s made from durable materials that withstand the wear and tear of daily use. The mesh fabric is breathable and easy to clean, which is essential for any product used by toddlers.

    5. Universal Fit:
This bed rail is designed to fit most standard beds, which adds to its versatility. I’ve used it on both a toddler bed and a twin bed without any issues. It’s great to have a product that adapts to different bed sizes as your child grows.

    6. Peace of Mind:
Above all, this bed rail provides peace of mind. Knowing that my child is secure and won’t accidentally fall out of bed allows both of us to sleep better. It’s a small investment for the comfort and safety it offers.

In conclusion, the Safety 1st Portable Bed Rail is an excellent product that has exceeded my expectations. It’s safe, easy to use, and highly portable, making it an essential item for any parent with a toddler transitioning to a big kid bed. I highly recommend it for a safer and more secure sleep environment!

I set up a bean bag chair on a platform in my office where I also watch tv. The big bean bag was spilling over the platform. I secured the portable bed rail to the platform and it supported the bean bag, causing it not to spill over the edge. I recommend this bed rail!

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersThis is a great portable/ travel bed guard.

I was hoping it would also be good as a permanent guard to save buying two but its not really study enough for a permanent guard.

The mesh does not go very tight, even when fully extended, meaning smaller children particularly could end up slipping between the mattress and the mesh as it almost forms a kind of ‘hammock/pocket’ as its quite loose. Mostly I just find that all her teddies end up lost in the gap that forms! My little one likes to push up against the guard though so it could be that she has stretched it.

Overall though this is great for its intended use which is as a travel-bed guard. It folds down small enough to take most places and fits all beds we have tried so far – divan and slatted.

Its easy to use and fit, is suitably stable for occasional use and the frame is well covered so soft enough if you have a child who flails around and is likely to bump it!

I would recommend this as a good value travel bed guard.

We’ve only had this fitted for a couple of weeks and already decided we don’t need it installed anymore. But it was cheap enough and folds down fairly well for storage, so will keep it around for potential future use.

Disliked that it was hard to fold due to the buttons on the side been hard to press. Although it was designed for a single bed.
The good points is that it is solidly built and functions as expected.

Our 3yr toddler was beginning to climb out of his cot so we removed one side and replaced it with this bed rail.

It was really easy to install and adjust, but the fabric quality of the mesh is poor. The other downside to installing it in a cot bed (as opposed to a normal bed) is that you can feel the inserts that go under the mattress as the cot bed mattress is not as thick as a normal mattress so we added another cot bed mattress so my son didn’t feel the inserts.

We’ve only had it for over a week but so far it seems to prevent my son from rolling out of the bed.

Very strong and sturdy. The only problem i see is the height. Because our bed is very thick, I wish this was a bit more higher because with the current height my baby can easy fall over i

I purchased this when my kid moved from cot to toddlee bed and she sleeps with it on every night to stop her rolling down the side of the bed / wall. She’s nearly out grown it at home but I took it to her Nana’s recently for a kids single bed as it was a lot higher, and it worked perfectly. Comfortable, not noisy, seems pretty sturdy. Easy to make bigger/smaller. Its lost one star for me as no travel bag included! It would be really useful as a portable guard for it to have a carry bag.

This is perfect for a toddler on a new bed.

Ours had started climbing out the cot so moved to a bed and got this bed guard to stop the little man rolling out. Only thing we found was that he was also able to climb a unit (chest of drawers) and he fell off. He landed in the bed but knocked his head on the bed guard… This just highlighted that it’s a metal bar and so he had a nasty bruise.

So, great for stopping them rolling out of bed. But an improvement would be some foam padding round the bar… Just in the event a toddler headbutts it!

These worked well although for deep mattresses they only just came up above the mattress height. Worked well in a caravan, not so well in a house bed where they had a deep mattress. Bit fiddly to get up and down – easier if there is two of you to pull it out. Folds down flat so good for transporting.

Really good for protecting the child from rolling out the bed. Slight downside is the metal/plastic creaks against the bed frame which is a bit of a downside after getting my child to sleep.

Ours is used on a cot frame. The extendable bit is very useful. Good size overall. I had to fasten it down to the bed lats with tie wraps because it moved otherwise. All good now.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe have toddlers and babies that twist and turn during their sleep. As we can’t keep an eye on them all the time, we got this Safety 1st Portable Bed Rail to attach to a single bed.

It was easy to expand to its full length by unlocking the legs and stretching it out. The bed rail fits under the mattress and feels sturdy. The poles are made of metal and there’s a breathable mesh.

My toddler is still being nursed to sleep. So you can imagine how important this bed rail is. Can only be used on a slated bed. I’ve been using this on my super king.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt does what it needs to do, my daughter has given it’s testing by kicking it when she wakes up in the morning to create enough noise to wake her snoring dad up.

But although it extends out, the fabric is soo tightly wrapped around it you need the strength of a god to get the thing to click into it’s locked position!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy enough to pull to the proper length.
Once in place with the ‘feet’ under the mattress, it feels quite secure & sturdy.
The only negative I would say is that the last pic in the listing shows measurement of 88cm…which is NOT the length of the bed rail. Misleading.
I would have given 5 stars if not for that.

Pretty basic bed guard, although I’m not sure what else you would add to make it better.

Folds down really flat to take away, doesn’t take up huge amounts of space.

Once installed on the bed I’ve never had to adjust it!
