Use is to weigh out flour etc for bread making. Easy to use. nice zero function. Small enough to store but large enough to sit a large bowl on and to still see the weight.
Would be nice if the material finish was a little sturdier but for this price point you cant complain.
Great scales, accurate & easy to store – after much research I found these scales recommended by Which. They are very good value for money and always give an accurate reading. As they are flat they are very easy to wipe clean and store well in the kitchen cupboard without taking up much space. I have purchased a second pair to weigh my parcels on.
I bought my first one of these 14 years ago and it finally stopped working – probably because I didn’t clean it properly and dropped it too many times! I’m very pleased to say that the design hasn’t change. This is one of those timeless pieces of kitchen equipment which cannot be improved.
Positives: Loved the price. Intuitive to use. Compact size, easy to store, and it comes with a battery bonus.
So far, only one negative. The battery casing is very fiddly to sort.
Been using this for over 5 years now, has been very reliable and easy to clean. Also just the right size for measuring ingredients and being small enough to hide away in a kitchen drawer.

Thought it would be bigger, seems to work OK though. Not really used it yet just hope the scale disc part of it is big enough. The weight part should be OK as it goes up to 11lbs just not sure it will fit a bowl big enough to take that sort of amount. I will use it a lot later on in the year for making several large Christmas cakes so hopefully it will work for the amount of bulk required.
