Was skeptical as to whether this would work or not.
However, placed car keys in box and tried to open car door. Wouldn’t open.
Opened box lid and tried again, doors opened.
Tried it again with lid closed.
All signals blocked again.
This was stood right next to car.
Impressed. Large box has ample room for multiple keyrings with allsorts attached other than key fob. Also has 2 individual wallets. ( Not tried yet).
The samfolk box looks great and I thought sturdy, but I accidentally dropped it from an overhead cupboard on the kitchen top work surface less than 80cm. The result being the corner has buckled (dented). Still working but cosmetically not great. The box should be big enough to provide storage for 2 cars or 4 average keys inside pouches.
It is obviously not possible to tell how efficient it is at signal blocking without the right equipment but nothing untoward has happened so far! Construction appears good. My only gripe is the fastening catch is very tight and hard to undo without damage to finger nails…..
Great quality and works great. Put my BMW key inside a pouch and sat in the car – no recognition of the key even when pouch placed next to sensor.
Absolutely love this product. i am unable to unlock the car whilst sat in it with the pouch. The box is beautiful and has become a permenant centre piece on my coffee table!
Apart from now essential to have one of you want to protect your cars. This is the first one we have owned. I do have a fight with opening it each time which is annoying.
I tested this with my keys in it right next to the car and it definitely blocked the signal.
I’m sure the dimensions are correct but it still seems smaller than I expected , but it’s fine for two sets of keys.
Bought this to protect my keyless entry/keyless ignition car. The box comes with 2 faraday pouches as well. Ran the following checks: Keys in the box inside the house, car about 20ft away, car doors would not open. Put key in a pouch and stood next to car, car would not open. Sat in car and put key in pouch, the car stop/start ignition system would not let me start the car as it could not detect the key.

I already had a small Faraday box but I needed something bigger. This is not huge by any standard but a decent size which will hold all of the family’s car keys/fobs and provide protection. I also like the additional key fobs which means I can store the ‘spare car keys’ in a different location. You need to protect both sets of keys if not being stored in the same location (Faraday box). It does work – keys in the Faraday box stood next to my car, nothing. Will not open. The box does its job. Whether you have an expensive/exclusive vehicle (I dont) or want to stop the casual theft, taxi joy ride – protect your car by signal blocking.
The box is ideal for securely storing my car key.
Due to construction in the parking garage, I have to park my car on the street.
This is quite unsafe for keyless cars. The Faraday Box gives me much more peace of mind.
Good quality both key holders & box. Tested the box with keys inside standing next to car & sure enough didn’t open! Feel much more secure leaving keys in this and also take the pouch on keyring when leaving the house.
