I wasn’t aware it was a blank laptop. BUT I have to change my review because I turned it on, connected to WiFi and it basically set itself up. My original review was because I gave it as a gift and I didn’t know it had to be set up. The person I gave it to now loves it.

Bought it for my sister who is studying. She says it’s just what she needs, with a long battery life and light enough to carry around all day at uni.

I paid 65 for mine, delivered, from another online store

It’s really good, but there are drawbacks

The good:

Excellent battery life
Lightening fast
Easy to use
Keyboard is decent
Solid construction
Light enough without weighing nothing

The bad:

The screen is terrible for something still retailing at around 200
The camera is trash and is not usable for conferencing. This is resolvable with a usb webcam, and I did get a capture card working for my go pro. It costs pennies to add a decent webcam module, this wasn’t a particularly cheap device on release

If you can get one for under 100 you will be impressed. If you pay more than that you are not going to be thrilled about the screen. You get used to it, but Samsung shouldn’t be releasing devices that skimp on vital components, especially ones they produce in house. The webcam I can forgive as I wouldn’t use a laptops inbuilt cam for anything, but it is an odd thing to cut costs on in 2020. They must have old camera modules lying around, why did they go with something as bad as the camera in this?

Those things said, I like it. I bought it so I could leave my main laptop at home, set up for Zoom. I’m using this Chromebook to type this review on…..so I must be able to forgive the screen, especially as I watched two films on it tonight. My main laptop is 8 years old, and it’s a bit slower than this, so I like the 15 second boot time. There are android games I like playing and this runs them fine.

This little Samsung chromebook was so easy to set up using Google Chrome to transfer everything I needed from my old laptop . Lightweight and looks smart and I have found the camera and sound quality for video chats with my family and friends so much clearer than on my very old laptop. There are the obvious limits to using a chromebook but for my purpose, this hits the mark especially at a price most can afford. Love it 😀

This is my first laptop. I’m pleased with this laptop. It is light weight and smart design. Additionally, it charges fast and the battery life is great. That’s is good enough for the basic user.

A nice chromebook that is well made great for social media and checking e mails better than a tablet as it has a built in keyboard and you can connect a mouse, not a lot of memory though but is a quality product worthwhile purchase in my opinio

At first i couldnt think of any use for it, I have my old WIndows 10 laptop with a much more HD display and my 6.5 inch Android phone. So I power wiped it and put it back in its box. But then I gave it another try a few days later and found it is very useful as a mid point between the laptop and the phone. If you prefer to save files locally, a laptop is probably better for you, but if you can move to saving files in the cloud / google drive / microsoft onedrive / online apps, then the Chromebook fits this best. Now after getting used to it, it is my go to device for all things internet. I found gmail for chrome unable to sync my personal non gmail emails automatically on a regular basis, so I deleted gmail for chrome and installed gmail app from playstore. That works perfectly for all my email accounts. I would definitely no want to be without my Chromebook now, but equally I would definitely not be able to be without a WIndows laptop either for the more serious work using advanced spreadsheets and local file storage, which the Chromebook is not so good a

I bought this Chromebook for my daughter to do her college work on and it is perfect. Smaller and more lightweight than a regular laptop, she can carry it around in her backpack.

I don’t use a laptop as much as I used to as I do most things on my phone.

The laptop is useful when I am writing or want to see website pages more clearly.

I haven’t got around to using the camera and audio but I intend to as I’ll also use the laptop for home music recording.

It is very fast.my grandmother bought it for me and overall I am very satisfied with this product. The battery life is very good however it is not ideal if you are considering it chasing a gaming laptop. It is very fast and it is a very good laptop
