Easy application and clear instructions. Beautiful colour as a result.
Very easy and fast. Saw the colour changing colour within 3 minutes of putting it on.
Great, great, great! Lol
It is full coverage, wonderful color with no damage to my hair. I never have issue with this brand, I recommend highly
Absolutely love this colour and will definitely be buying more. Very happy to give 5
Always use Live permanent hair dye, should have lightened hair more prior to using the silver, was hoping it’d turn out grey but was more light brown.
If I havent dyed my hair for a while, I have to use two boxes as I have very thick, mid-back length hair but it’s always been good. It obviously fades after a while (mine starts to go a very dark brown as my hair is naturally brown) but that’s the nature of hair dye
I love the Live Colours, and this was no disappointment! Easy to apply and bright when done. Only 4 stars because although it says permanent, it came out of my bleached hair in about 3 weeks
It lifts dark hair well and starts a lil dark if not washed out correctly but overall it becomes a nice colour and is permeant it only faded a lil over the 3 months I’ve coloured it altho it’s important to remember hair dye responds differently to different hair types and treatments
This colour is so beautiful! It also fades quite nicely – I made sure to include a faded picture in more natural light (that’s the first one), and a picture that shows the fresh colour (second one, non-natural light).
I was always someone who got bored of one colour quickly, but I’ve had this colour for over 7 months, and I LOVE it!
Lots of people have had the Metallic Teal dye turn their hair an (admittedly lovely) royal blue instead of the colour on the box.
I had this happen too when most of my hair was bleached. I’ve since dyed it black and used this on my roots, where it turned the exact colour on the box!
Hair dye is basically chemistry. The dye will usually turn some shade of green on natural, untouched hair, since that’s the type of hair the product is created and tested for. If you’ve used ANY other dye and put this on top, the result is going to be different as you’ve added an unknown chemical into the reaction; in general, previous dyes seen to prevent the yellow pigment from adhering to the hair.
PLEASE REMEMBER – If you’ve had ANY previous colour, bleach or processing (e.g. perming) then DO A STAND TEST FIRST! Find out what the result will be, before putting it all over your head and hoping for the best!
If it does turn blue instead of green you can always buy a yellow dye to correct it – Bleach London does a wonderfully bright yellow shade that doesn’t cost too much & washes out relatively quickly (especially important if your hair has already reacted unpredictably to this dye) – but again make sure you do a strand test first to check how everything will react!
I’ve got fine but thick hair (fine strands but a ton of them on my head) and one box covered a good inch of root growth. I had a second box and put that on the rest of my hair, but of course that did diddly-squat to the blue-black lengths. For now I’m going to wear an off-centre parting that I’ll keep black, then when I’ve got enough regrowth I can move it back to the centre for a coloured roo
I have shortish spikeyred hair, I have always used bright red live colour, I have for over thirty years plus now and again I get bored, so opt for the coral, the first time using it, it took, I fell in love with it, but thought I hadn’t kept it on long enough as it started to wash out, and my grey roots started showing. I thought it was permanent? does it cover grey?(salt and pepper) The reds took fine in the live colour,. So, I tried again, and the colour again was great, for about a week, then started fading.why is it fading? This is now my new colour, but it means topping up every other week. It is definitely not permanent!,?.
Well what can I say? Think this is the first time a home box dye has actually gone the colour its supposed to! My base colour was a dirty blonde, no bleach needed.
The colour is a mixture of magenta pink and purple and I am so in love with it!
I only have one issue, despite using gloves and washing my hair twice, I still find my hands go pink when touching or brushing my hair and after the first wash when my hair was slightly damp my neck and t-shirt had pink marks on it. But this may be my fault as I don’t blow dry and just let my hair dry naturally!
I used this to do a root stretch to correct a “hot roots” situation and it blended beautifully. It’s not a flat or matte shade it has burgundy undertones, my natural hair is a level 1 indoors it’s a rich dark shade, under light it has a lovely dark burgundy red hue and in sunlight it’s dark but with a vibrant cherry red glow. It is exactly what I wanted! The box makes it look more purple based but it is more of a dark burgundy. It hasn’t damaged my hair at all. Take into consideration the condition of your hair before applying a darker shade if it’s damaged it may come out darker and appear dull because of the porosity of your hair. For me- it’s perfect!
I’ve used this shade (real red 35) before and also the Ultra violet and I real like the colours and results.
The treatment process is easy to mix and one bottle is enough for my shoulderlength (but thin) hair.
The colour does fade significantly between week 2 and 4, which is disappointing but quite normal with these bright colours (even when permanent). The base colour does remain red, just not so vivid.
It fades more quickly at the lengths, which could be due to years of previous bleaching.
Fast delivery both boxes were damaged so ,all contents fell out into out packaging
The 2nd time I ordered a repeat of same product and again , box was damaged !

Anyone with blonde bleached hair should know that it’s all about getting the hair blonde/pale enough, before any blonde tonal colour or shade is applied. This works extremely well and fast, and as far as bleaches go, it’s not the most damaging. But, of course, any bleach is going to damage your hair left on long enough, and depending on the condition of your hair to start.
My tip with anyone wanting to get very light, healthy, non-brassy, non-yellow/orange blonde hair is a) to really get it light enough before application of the final shade you want, and b) to do it in stages. I’d rather apply the bleach for less time in two stages, a week or two apart, and have a week or two of an imperfect colour/result, than try and do it all at once and ruin my hair permanently. I actually did two bleach pre-ligtening, and then the third was a shop bleach and colour, with the right icy blonde shade I was after. And then I’ll ‘top up’ with toners.
Also when you’ve got it to the right lightness and shade, it’ll be easier to maintain after by just bleaching the roots when long enough. (This is obviously much easier for people whose hair colour is naturally not very dark).
I love this colour. My hair is naturally dark brown and I’ve been experimenting as of late. I did have to use lightener on my roots first so that the colour would all blend and be the same colour throughout. I did also have to purchase 2 boxes as my hair is quite long to ensure I had enough mixture for coverage. I also got my hairdresser friend to do my hair for me to ensure the coverage was accurate and even. Definitely one of my favourite colours. Now, the downside.. I don’t agree with how expensive the item is and I also feel if I had of just put the dye straight onto my natural hair without the lightener I would have had uneven colour because my roots and hair are not the same colour and my hairdresser agrees.
