Choose Your Tiles
Each Scrabble game board comes with a bag that holds and conceals the letter tiles. Players select 7 letter tiles at random from the bag and place them on their personal rack. Now, the challenge is to make the best word you can by using any of the tiles you chose. Included in the bag are two blank tiles that can be played as any letter!
Spell For Points!
Each letter is associated with a unique value that determines the amount of points a player receives after spelling a word. More points are rewarded when a word uses the premium squares on the grid.

Love the idea of being able to take away but the box could be half the size. I understand it has to be square for the board but does not need to be so deep.

Great mini version of the game, board and tiles are good quality however for the price I think the bag for the tiles could have been fabric like in the original game rather than a slightly thicker than usual zip lock plastic bag, it’s quite difficult to get the pieces out of this smaller bag.
TLDR: for 12 I don’t think you can go wrong with this teeny tiny version of Scrabble. It’s cute and functional!
Thought the squares would of fitted into the board so the letters dont slide about. The squares are a bit to small, I know it’s a travel one but I wouldn’t be taking it away.
I was a bit saddened to see a PVC bag instead of a fabric one and also the board should fold in half and be bigger. Durability is also a concern. Another thing, it’s so easy to lose the prices.. BEWARE!!!
We bought this scrabble games as we thought it would be bigger in size and the letters would actually clip on. The size is ok to put in a suitcase but would need to be kept flat when playing.
This was smaller than expected. I thought I was buying a replacement for my old travel scrabble with clip in letters (pegs at each of the 4 corners of the letters). Instead the board has cells for each of the letters. They are a bit fiddly.
However, everything works and if you are not actually travelling on a jolting sloping something then you will be fine.
It is certainly small, compact and does the job.
With this version of the game my scrabble scores have not improved or got worse 🙂
Purchased this for camping trips and train journeys. Small box, love how small the board is and yet entirely usable. It lies flat in the box and there is no need to unfold.
The bag that holds the letters is a small and attractive plastic bag and contains the letters which are not too fiddly.
The racks are very small, but hey, this is a compact travel edition so thats great.
I think if you love Scrabble and want something to play on the run then this is an excellent purchase. Looks like it will last well, though the box might better be tin rather than cardboard. I’d pay extra for that. Nonetheless, recommended.
