This is a beautiful watch.
I really like how you can adjust the strap . Doesn’t use the little pins but has robust link pegs very easy to do. The clear back is nice so you can see all the good stuff Seiko do when making their watches. Great presentation box as well . Another win for the company. Chris C
Beautiful watch which really stands out and looks more luxury than the price. Ppl moaning about the watch stopping should I either wear it more often or indulge in some personal exercise as that is the premise of Automatic watches. THEY REQUIRE KINETIC MOVEMENT IN ORDER TO FUNCTION.

A replacement to my second ten years old Seiko watch that was destroyed in an accident in Central Amsterdam in 2013. My second Seiko was a replacement to my first Seiko automatic watch pickpocketed in Central London in 1993. We have mobile smart phones with digital world clocks, alarms, timers, stopwatch and other functions but these digital watches are definitely not beautiful works of arts that embody the souls of their makers.
Kinetic charging gives hybrid sustainability rather like your vehicle. Elegance and accuracy but fully visible only with 20/20 vision.
The watch is beautiful with it’s two toned colour. The timings are accurate, I love that this watch has night dial so it’s easier to see the time at night or even in a dark place, I expected the face to be a bit bigger. Price wise could be somewhat cheaper but putting all that aside I love this watch it’s beautiful with all that it contains.
Actually really very good watch. The bracelet is ok, but I have changed to a lovely Hirsch tan leather strap.
The watch is great value and I will buy another but with blue face, thank you very much Chris.
I use sekio watch since 1973 it give perfect time with out any problem so I perchese two mor sekio watches in Desmber 2022
I bought the watch for my sons birthday. He loves it. The look of it, the accuracy, easy to read and of course the name Seiko.
We found it hard too change the time and alter the date because it is quite small but very pleased otherwise
Very nice watch, unfortunately not reached its destination. Has been lost somewhere between the UK and USA.
My wife couldn’t be happier, came at a great price. The bracelet is big enough for any woman mine needed two links removing but that is simple to do. Comes in a lovely presentation box.
It’s a shame Seiko has decided to discontinue the affordable smaller 5’s. Grab one while you still can!
The Seiko men’s wrist watch is an early Christmas box so I have only shaken it a few times to slightly tension the main spring and leave it on my desk so as to ensure it works as desired…. and it does. The strap is obviously designed to accommodate the biggest wrist so needs some links taken out but Amazon has taken that into consideration and allowed a discount to meet the cost when I take it to my local watch repair shop. First class product with a first class service.
Very nice watch, looks great with a leather strap… arrived in original box… after 5 days it is just one second ahead… unfortunately even if i opted for express shipping it was delivered after 6 days to Romania
Looks great on a green nato strap, and depending on whether you use a nato or the metal bracelet it comes with you can use it with a variety of outfits. The bracelet is of good quality and easy to adjust.
The luminous coating on the watch is excellent, even at 6am it is still legible, and in the early evening it is incredibly bright.
The watch never runs out of energy, although I do wear it every day, but from what I’ve heard it recharges very quickly and has a decent power reserve.
In terms of size its about the right size for my ~6.5″ wrist, if you’re looking for something smaller/cheaper take a look at the SNK809K2

Bought this Seiko watch to replace the one I have had for 33 years, yes 33 years, and replaced the original battery after 26 years use. Unfortunately the watch stopped working, so I decided to replace it with another Seiko. I priced this model on the *High Street” and found the model from Amazon was 75 cheaper than competitors. It is a smart looking watch, which I have had for 5 weeks, and is not showing any wear whatsoever. The only downside is that the watch is losing between 5 and 6 minutes each week, hardly a complaint, and I intend to take it to a watchmaker and have it timed and adjusted accordingly.
I have awarded this watch 4 stars because of the time loss, otherwise highly recommended.
If this watch lasts as long as the other 2 Seiko 5 watches I have owned over the past 40 years then I will be well pleased. the build quality is very good as usual and timekeeping for a mechanical automatic is very good. Of the other 2 Seiko 5 watches I have owned one was dropped onto a concrete floor and the balance wheel pinion snapped and the other was again subjected to severe shock an one of the hour markers became dislodged from the face. So both failures were my fault and both after I had had the watches for over 15 years. Would recommend buying the 21 jewel versions.
But the adjustment of time is not that easy — it’s hard to get the minute hand aligned at the right place as the second hand does not seem to be stoppable.
Maybe I’ll get batter at this after a few non-31-day months require a few more adjustments.
