I cannot use toothpaste containing SLS or mint. This is perfect.
Been using this for my kids for a few years, it’s the only one they say isn’t “spicy”
The price is good too, I usually buy a few so we don’t run out. Good toothpaste overall, not a whole lot to say about it, it does the job.
Kid love it and as it comes in a subscription I don’t have to stoop when to order nex
Great value for money .my daughter says the taste is great and easy to use
My 7 year old has been using this for 6 months, he likes the taste.
Getting this delivered every 5 weeks, 2 tubes. Son brushes twice a day and he’s very happy with it. A good subscription to have, one less thing to think about in the grocery shopping
I’m really happy with the Sensodyne Pronamel Enamel kids toothpaste. It’s a genuine product and it is not fake product as some comment say. I was getting the same product from store and both of them Made in Slovakia. It means that I can save money in the long run. I would definitely recommend this toothpaste to anyone who is looking for an effective way to protect their child’s teeth.
We always buy this toothpaste from here if we can’t find it in the supermarket, as I believe it’s a great one, and leaves my boy with sparkling white teeth and fresh minty breath! Wish the size was bigger though, as the tube is tiny, not the average adult size for example.
I bought this toothpaste for myself because I have highly sensitive teeth and so I thought what harm could a kids toothpaste do. Well let me tell you, two days into using this toothpaste I began getting toothache, it travelled from my left ear, along my jaw and my gum swelled up on the right side, I couldn’t eat or sleep, literal agony and now I’m awaiting a dentist appointment. My son on the other hand is absolutely fine using it, but if you’re anything like me where a bit of chocolate makes your teeth sensitive then it’s not for you.
Pros:
Good for sensitive teeth. Bought for my child who experienced their first winter related tooth sensitivity like me.
Cons:
The toothpaste is runnier so falls off toothbrush more easily and end up using more per session.
The lid is a pain in the ass. Firstly, kids lids should be flip lids so they dont have to find somewhere flat to put it or else accidentally knock it on the floor/have an extra hand to hold it while they gently squeeze the runny toothpaste out 1-handed whilst holding their toothbrush, without over squirting it (it really is runny). Just bonkers.
The lid is also hard to take off when the tube is less than half full. Trying to get kids to grip the tube at its widest point on that tiny edge near the top whilst twisting the lid. They keep coming to ask me to do it. If I can find a flip lid which fits then I’m swapping it.
It’s also harder to squeeze out the last bits. Their tubes really need to be more 6yr old friendly.
I wasn’t going to buy this after the photo review but said it wasn’t the real thing, but I went out to boots today and bought some that was on offer and compared the two boxes and tubes and they are exactly the same, so will buy again from amazon. Trust this review, the top one on the picture is the amazon one x
Good flavour but size should be bigger . We use for ourself this brand and I’m happy with it so it wasn’t question to use for my daughter.
I used elmex for her but that is double the price of this . Overall great toothpaste you buy with confidence.
I happen to think that this is the best quality toothpaste I could buy for my children. Our dentist is a big fan of Sensodyne; I value her opinion too.
I don’t think you can put a price on toothpaste when it comes to children’s teeth, especially one which effectively helps to prevent acid erosion which is probably every parents number one concern.
Add to that, the extra mild flavour that this has, and the fact that my two girls prefer the mildness of this particular brand over any other children’s toothpaste, and it’s a winner.
This particular toothpaste isn’t always easy to buy locally so I’m glad to be able to buy it on subscribe and save at a very affordable price.
Sensodyne Pronamel is a toothpaste which helps protect against acid erosion. Aimed at children in the 6-12 age group, it has a nice, mild flavour. Once children get past the toddler stage, where toothpastes are often strawberry flavoured, and need a toothpaste for an older age group, many of the products on the market have very strong flavours – in particular strong mint flavour. My son, now aged 10, really disliked the taste of many of them and it became a bit of a battle to get him to use them. Having found a toothpaste he actually liked, I was pleased with the results – his dentist said his dental hygiene had improved since using the product and, thankfully, there were no fillings to contend with. I suspect most toothpastes on the market will do the job effectively, as long as your child is happy to use them. However, like other reviewers, I have recently found this quite hard to get hold of. Luckily, it is available online and I am just relieved that I can purchase it here. Yes, the size of the tube is fairly small, but it lasts a long while and if he is comfortable brushing with it, then it is worthwhile. If you are also battling with your child over brushing their teeth and are looking for a quality product with a milder flavour, then give this a try.
