Bought mine in October for refurbishing an old pine staircase, I was surprised how well built and heavy it is and it’s done every thing I’ve asked of it and I am a heavy use
I’ve had a go on a mates premium brand one of these and it was more noisy and took longer to cut. So, all in all, pretty impressed so far. Handy handle to keep it steady, nice assortment of blades and stuff, good bag. I don’t imagine it would last forever but for the casual DIY’er it’s great. Skirting boards watch out, here I come.
Used to cut various sizes of plywood and timber with ease. Very simple to change the blades and bits. Have used the sanding block to sand a windowsill with great results. The power change setting is very useful. You can give it more power to get through heavier material if needed. Great product for the price so far and no difference compared to a more expensive multi-tool that I’ve previously used.
I am really impressed with this multi tool from shall. the build is as good as I could ask for and the ease of use is so good, with my old one taking me about two mins to change the blade, and the shall one takes about 10 seconds. My old one is a top brand but contrary to common belief, you don’t always get what you pay for. The shall is around half the price of my old one.
For the price I was sceptical this would be flimsy but pleased with the build and weight of this tool, easy to use and the various blades are great for any job around the home.
This thing’s a beast. I’m not gentle on my tools but this took everything I threw at it. Was great for trimming a lot of skirting board and door frames to fit flooring. I only blunted one attachment doing 3 rooms.
Far better than the branded more expensive alternatives
I needed to re-grout the floor so decided to make the investment. Made a the re-grout super easy, and when a tile or two came unstuck the flat grinder got rid of the thinset on the tiles and sub-floor ready for fresh adhesive. Just what I needed and plenty of handy tools for the future.
Used three times. Once to trim shower panels, once to cut thin plywood to shape & once to cut out 25cm of fence post. Packed up after 5 minutes of use trying to cut small piece of fence post out. Pay little, get rubbish!
Liked good solid feel of the tool and the speed that the 5 degree oscillator gets through the work. Better than my older named brand that operates at 3.2 degrees. All the fittings you would need included. Stow bag a bonus and good quality too. So far only used for wooden bay window repairs and paint prep.
i must admit that i wasnt expecting much as it was not a lot of money. But i was pleasantly surprised when i opened the box. comes with loads of attachments and a good bag to keep it all in. works well and i have enjoyed using it as it makes my life easier using one of these than using a saw and a chisel.
Perfect for the price. Chopped through the wall for sockets and door frame for floor fitting. Nice little bag too.
Beats crappy cordless stuff that’s always flat when you need i
I used this to remove grout. I was worried at first thinking I might damage a tile, but it’s very forgiving. I only cranked it half speed. It’s not noisy as I thought it would be. This is my first multi tool, it’s great for any DIYer, but then I’m no expert, it may stand up for higher usage. You get all the accessories you would ever need and a zip up bag to keep everything in. I think it’s superb value for money compared to other lower priced multi tools.
Not really had chance to use it yet bit will do in the next few weeks, looks well built, alittle heavier than expected but no big deal, comes with attachments which is good.
I took a while to consider which brand/model to purchase for a small DIY job, so pleased that I chose this one over more expensive brand names. Works perfectly, comes complete with a huge range of attachments. Has variable speed settings. But the one feature that demonstrates quality is the excellent carry bag which I was extra impressed with. No need to store in a cardboard box, and end up loosing all the attachements!
Very good so far not tried all the cutters yet but looks good
Have only used a few times for diy projects. Great little tool for my needs, & Great price.
Whilst my first unit broke down after only a few hours work.
After I had contacted Shall to report the problem I had no trouble at all.
Shall replaced the item whithout any hazle free of charge.
It is a pleasur to do business with them thank you SHALL.

Very happy with this product. Works very well, all attachments are easy to use and well made. Great bag included to keep it all together. Having a cordless one means getting into some areas easier but not having to remember to charge this one is a benefit. Cost is good too
Really good and tough. Performance is very good. Overall I am a happy customer.
Only used this product once so far, but for the job of raising architrave to allow for wood flooring it did the job perfectly. Vibrates maybe quite vigorously if you have it on a high setting, but maybe even the big brands do. Plenty of accessories and a bag, seems like a winner.
Very easy to use and very useful but the smoke that makes and the smell of burned wood is unbelievable
Very good tool worked really brilliantl. Very good value for the money.
Have only used this tool for first time today, after some research, I wanted the more RPM and oscillating angle rather than number of attachments, I picked this one as it met all the criteria I wanted, this also included a carrying bag, which to me was a bonus, all in one place. As for the ease of use, well, having never even seen one to hold, to using it, 5 minutes, one thing I will say, when first trying to put blade on, me being like most men, disregard instructions, only lifted the release lever 90 degrees, I.e straight up, it has to go 180 degrees, I.e up and over, other than that, fantastic tool, very pleased, I can see this getting a lot of use. Yes I would recommend this particular one to a friend without any problems.
A tool that does exactly what you want it to do and it does it for a very good price. Nice smooth action, is lovely to hold and it gets the job done. The looks are great too so you get a bit of an all-rounder really.
I will be looking at other tools from the same range as I have been impressed by it so much.
SHALL Oscillating Tool, 500W Oscillating Multitool Kit with 5 Oscillation Angle, Quick Change & Kickback Protection, 6 Variable Speeds, Auxiliary Handle, 34Pcs Saw Accessories and Carry Bag Included
Brand: Shall
This oscillating multitool is really quite good! It feels really heavy and solid, and is very well built! It oscillates from 8000 to 16000 rpm and is adjustable from the tool.
I like the fact that it comes in a big sturdy bag with a solid frame which is a nice plus and is not all that common with a lot of tools nowadays. The tool comes with loads of attachments for cutting and sanding wood, metal and ceramics. Whilst some of the attachments are probably not as long lasting as the equivalent top name brands you have top factor in the price as they were included in the whole kit. For one off jobs they will be fine.
With a 500w motor it is actually on the more powerful side of this type of tool, with a lot of competitors coming in at 220W — 300W. I like the blade lock mechanism as most of the others I have used need tools to add or remove the attachments.
The Shall Oscillating tool is very well build, the feel and the weight is perfect.
The tool itself has 5-degree oscillating angle which means a larger movement so cutting is done quicker. With a powerful 500W motor the tool is still very quiet.
You can do so much with this tool, it’s a must have for any DIY’er cutting, sawing, polishing, and working on various materials such as low and medium hardness metal pipes, wood, nails, screws, pipes etc with 6 variable speeds (8000-16000RPM).
You get so much for your money with this tool with a 34-Piece Accessories kit included: 1pc wood/metal blade, 1pc wood/plastic blade, 1pc Bi-Metal semicircle saw blade, 1pc HCS semicircle saw blade, 1pc sanding pad, 1pc triangular carbide grit rasp, 1pc triangular wood cut blade, 1pc carbide grit semicircle saw blade, 1pc rigid scraper blade, 20pcs sanding sheets (60, 80, 120, 180, 240 grit, each 5). All fits in the tough canvas zipped carrying bag.
The blades can be quickly changed with the quick release design function and the blades are standard blades so can be replaced easily.
The provided instructions are great and explains all the different blades and their uses even explains the different sandpaper grit sizing and what they are best used for.
Mains cable is a little short so extension lead would be required for most jobs.
Good value for money when you factor in the quality, the accessory kit, the 500W power etc
FYI I’m no DIY enthusiast, but I love tools, however it always seems to be that when we need to do a little job (we only do little jobs – we’ve discovered to our cost that whilst we’re both keen to have a go, anything requiring real skill needs someone more competent than either of us) we never have quite the right tool for the job to hand. In truth we’re a bit ‘all the gear, no idea’. No more.
This is a smashing little kit – it has all the bits and bobs we could possibly need. Each blade is marked as to its use, which is so helpful, and the heads can be changed easily by just lifting a clip – no more messing about with Allen keys or screwdrivers. Great. We needed something like this in the Summer when we were working on a project to make a small fruit cage – we constantly had to swap between wood and metal saws, this tool would have made the whole process so much easier and quicker.
The whole tool looks pretty idiot proof, which in all honesty is what we need. It comes in a small canvas doctor’s style bag which opens up fully so no groping around to find stuff. Inside the bag there are pockets for each tool so everything can be located quickly and easily. Love it.
Our neighbour who IS a DIY enthusiast and works for an engineering company (so he knows his stuff) was very impressed with this kit and is more than a little jealous that we have it and he doesn’t.
There will be more fruit cages to make in Spring, and now we know how to do it and have the tools to do it the whole process should be so much simpler.
Well pleased with our new toy.
