Mio pap ogni tanto me li chiede in prestito E la borsa molto capiente.
I’ll caveat this by saying I’m not much of a fan of pink (unless you’re referring to the singer). And I thoroughly dislike the “pink-ifying” of perfectly practical products* as a marketing ploy, and adding random crap to packaging designs to “girl-ify” it (the box of this product being a prime example – explain to me the point of the weird teenage speech bubbles?!).
Right, now I’ve got my grumpy old woman whinge out of the way (I’m 42 so I’ve started early!) I bet you’re wondering why on earth I opted for this pink tool kit in the first case? Primarily because my Autistic ADHD brain often has the habit of mislaying things and, pink stands out a lot more Also the bag is the perfect size to store on a standard bookshelf in my home office where I can see it and remember it’s existence. As with many neurodiverse folk I often have issues with object permanence – out of sight and it ceases to exist, metaphorically speaking. I have a lot of the tools in this kit at home already but somewhere in the shed, or in random drawers – this is ideal for me.
One of the pros to this kit is the smaller 8oz hammer. Don’t get me wrong, my standard 16oz hammer is excellent (see photo for comparison) however the lighter weight and slightly slimmer handle of the 8oz makes for a more comfortable grip and reduced strain on my wrists (I’ve had wrist injuries in the past). It’ll certainly work better than a rock as well! (Seriously, note the mislaying comment/object permanence thing? I have 100% been known to resort to using a rock to hammer in nails like someone from the Neolithic cracking nuts open Fortunately, with two neurodiverse kids with a penchant for collecting beach pebbles we have plenty scattered around the house to choose from!)
The size reduction has also been applied to the tape measure (3m instead of the more typical 5m) and the cable ties (2.5x100mm – not sure what sort of tensile strength they’ll have and the length isn’t much good for a lot of the things i use cable ties for) which is a mild irritation but that’s about it.
The rest of the tools appear solid and well made and will be useful for a range of standard DIY tasks around the home (currently I need to replace the bathroom door handle and the pull cord switch as both are knackered).
The bag has 4 small internal pockets on one side and 2 larger internal pockets on the other which are ideally to store the smaller bits and pieces (screws, precision screwdrivers, electrical tape, screwdriver heads etc) while the main section is plenty large enough the the main tools with space to spare.
To the exterior there’s one pocket running the length of one side with a single popper closure, which really isn’t much good for anything thicker than a few sheets of paper if you actually want to popper it closed (the cable ties fit in there). On the other side are three pockets, each large enough to hold the 3m tape measure (with the middle pocket being slightly larger than the outer two).
There’s a detachable shoulder strap to the bag but to be honest I’m not convinced the metal clips will last if there’s any weight in the bag, they seem a little flimsy. However the carry handles are more than adequate for the size of bag, which isn’t unwieldy.
So all in all I think 4 stars is fair. It’s a very good all round kit which suits my needs nicely. One star lost for the shallow packaging, downsized tape measure/cable ties, somewhat redundant popper closure and questionable strength on the shoulder strap clips.
* I do, however like an alliteration!
Conforme la description. La trousse est trs complte et les outils de bonne qualit. Trs pratique garder dans la maison pour les travaux rapides
Lots of tools for household DIY, love that fact it’s ideal for the ladies weight wise. I’ve almost got all the pink now ( and I’m not a big fan of pink) only thing missing is a pink hammer drill!
This is a great kit for the woman around the house,
It’s got everything you need inside a great little carry bag, no more looking around the house for tools to get a job done.
This is a great tool kit, has all the things I need so far. Plus room in the bag for additional tools.
Have found this toolkit brilliant for DIY repairs around home must get one for my daughte
Very handy to have don’t need to wait fir partner to do bits for me
Bought this for my daughter who is a tiler and wanted some girly coloured tools. On the whole, this is a good set. However it would be great if a brand could make a pink set that is equivalent to a stronger type.
Good selection of tools. Should have included the cordless drill!
Got this for my daughter , as her boyfriend not interested in doing DIY
Daughter over the moon everything she needed having moved into her new home
Einfach klasse.
because it’s pink, and the tools aren’t half bad too, lol. I don’t think anyone could go wrong with this set. I’m not the least bit girly girl but I love this shade of pink. Having a whole set of tools in it is brilliant.
There are loads of really good quality tools in a really good quality bag. I’ve got at least ten tools that I didn’t already have and I’m pleased about that. It is an excellent set and I can’t think of anything that could be added to it apart from a smaller bag or cover for the hacksaw. I don’t fancy putting my hand into the bag and catching the blade, although I could leave it without a blade on and put the blades in a small case or the side pocket.
I recommend this completely. It’s very good indeed.
: Top Tip : Pink. It is not only suitable for just one of the genders. It can be used by everyone. And if you like pink… you are in a lot of luck here!
: Top Tip : It covers most household essentials for new home or basic repairs around the house and is a great starter tool kit for someone just getting started in basic projects. It is a brilliant starter kit.

: SHALL Pink Tool Set, 246-Piece Home Tool Kit for Women, Ladies Basic Tool kit for House with 14″Wide Mouth Open Tool Bag, General Household Hand Tool Set for Home Repair, Maintenance and Improvement
Looks to be a well balanced, good quality, and stylish, set of tools in their own case.
But…
Is it any good?
Is it good value?
Will I get a lovely cup of tea , at any point during this review?
And possibly even a biscuit ?
Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should take a closer look… …
Packaging :
It arrives in a lovely, shiny, professional, retail ready box.
The level of packaging is not excessive, or profligate, and is just enough to keep the product safe, and out of the box in good condition.
It makes a very good first impression.
Recycling :
Most of the packaging can be recycled.
Contents :
Out of the box, and the contents are… err… well, to be honest, massive, and varied.
It will take some amount of cataloguing, but lets grab the bull by the horns and get started:

Phew… that was some list.
It is fair to say that you get a hell of a lot of tools for your money.
It is a very varied, and comprehensive list of tools, that will get your tool collection up and running, and then some.
I wish that something like this was available when I was a student, or a young man, as it would have saved me many a day down at the DIY store, trying to find the correct tool to remove a medium sprocket wrangler, or a large flux capacitor.
Having a starter kit like this, would have made me the handiest housemate, and the person to call on to fix whatever needed fixing, from faulty sprongles, to the ever breaking Wi-Fi.
I would have been the go-to guy for any DIY job.
Build Quality :
The build quality is very good.
It feels chunky, well put together, and solid.
It feels, and looks pretty durable.
There are no visible flaws, no ragged edges, no mould marks, and no gaps.
No telltale rattles, or squeaks that would give away poor workmanship.
It all looks very professional indeed, with all the junctions being beautifully finished.
It’s all nicely done, and looks the business.
Features :
It is time to mention the colour.
All the tools have the colour pink incorporated somewhere on them.
From an almost completely pink spirit level, to the subtle pink details on the screwdriver, there is a wee bit of pink (or a large bit of pink) somewhere on every tool.
It makes them all look like they belong together.
It also makes it almost impossible for anyone else to steal your tools, or even to borrow them, and forget to hand them back, before being absorbed into their toolkit, as with the pink colour scheme, the “borrowed” tools” will stick out like sore thumbs.
I love it, and think they all look brilliant.
The household tool kit is made of CRV and high-quality forged steel, which is finished in chrome to ensure durability, strength and anti-corrosion.
They feature soft rubber grip handles with non-slip texture to make them more comfortable and secure.
It comes with a 14″ wide mouth open tool bag with tools included.
High quality 600D polyester Oxford Cloth ensures durability, with multiple interior and exterior pockets for storing different small to medium-size tools or accessories.
Equipped with an adjustable shoulder strap for more convenient to carry.
The pink basic tool kit contains electrician tools, carpenter tools, plumbing tools and many other general hand tools for DIY or home repair and maintenance. It covers most household essentials for new home or basic repairs around house and is a great starter tool kit for someone just getting started in basic projects.
The manufacturer almost makes it through their description, and product information page without resorting to colour sexism…
However, they fall into the oh too easy trap of suggesting a “pink” toolkit is only suitable for women.
I am sure that many women will hate the colour, just as many men will love it.
And vice versa.
Pink does not mean it is only for women these days.
Wise up, or lose half your customers “Shall” (The name of the company that sells them.).
Performance :
The toolkit performed perfectly during product testing.
It was a joy to use, and did not put a foot wrong during our robust, and rigorous testing phase.
We enjoyed it’s good design, and it’s nicely made features, which all lived up to their descriptions.
It was flawless in it’s performance, and we cannot fault it.
A well made bit of kit.
Down Sides :
No downsides were noted during testing.
Value :
Value wise, it feels like this delivers the goods.
The quality you get with this, makes it a good purchase.
I would happily pay the asking price.
Summary :
Overall, this is excellent.
It is well designed, with some nice features, and some cool design touches.
It is clear that a lot of thought, and care, has been given during the design phase, and this is bourn out in it’s well produced sellable form.
It is well put together, with a good overall build quality, and some good details.
It is pretty good value, and feels like a good buy.
I am a proud owner, and user, and I am happy to have had the privilege of reviewing it.
I think I can hear the sound of a kettle boiling…
Ooh, lovely…
Recommendation :
I enjoyed testing it, and I am enjoying using it regularly.
It is a very good product, and one that has left a very good impression on me.
I do not hesitate to recommend it highly.
The toolkit, and the cup of tea.
Biscuit ?
I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .
Absolutely fantastic tool set and quality materials.
Includes nearly everything needed for diy.
All in a lovely pink colour and comes with its own tool bag.
Good price at 45 as there are so many items.
This tool kit is great, it comes in a box that shows what is inside so be aware if you are getting this as a gift. Inside the box, you’ll find the tool bag and inside of that, there are two cardboard boxes that contain all the tools. It was surprisingly fun to unpack and put everything in the tool bag, there is so much inside this 246-piece set and some surprising inclusions that show that a lot of thought has gone into this set. There are screws and zip ties that count toward the 246 items, there is a screwdriver where you can change the head and there are, I suspect, every type of screwdriver you could possibly ever need. I love the magnet that can reach into small spaces to pick up a fallen screw etc. and there are different sized Allen keys which is really useful too. The bag itself is strong and good quality and fits a lot more than the tools provided so you can add extra items, there is a detachable shoulder strap too. Obviously, this set is very pink and the assumption could be made that this tool kit is aimed at women, but there is no reason that a man can’t use it too. This would make a great gift for someone moving into a new home. I’m really pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.
I have quite a lot of things to fix around the house and most of the time I was struggling because I didn’t have the necessary tools and after a bit of research I found this set which has it all.
Build in quality:
All the parts come nicely organised into boxes and after I remove them there is a there is a caring bag which is very practical to keep all the tools and to move them around.
The bag has a zip at the top and two handles but mind when all the tools are inside it becomes a bit heavy
Most of the tools are made from good quality materials but overall I cannot say that is something that I’m really impressed with, basically these are just regular tools.
There are so many that I cannot even name them here but I consider the whole set being practical be use and specially to have it around for any kind of job.
I am not experienced but when I have to open the laptop for example to clean the dust or to remove the curtains to wash them, I can find the necessary tools inside the bag.
Overall I am happy with the tools.
Brought for my niece when she moved into her new house. Thought she would laugh because it was a ‘pink’ set of tools. Brought as a joke, but was amazed at the quality of the tool. All the basics are there for doing those little jobs around the house. Would highly recommend. xxx
