I don’t use it for stairs – I live in a bungalow! It is good on kitchen and bathroom tiles and it is good on carpets. What more can I say?
Loveeeee this hoover. Easy to use. Charge lasts ages. I’ve done 4 bedrooms and it was still on 2 bars after. Never runs out before I finish. Easy to empty anti hair roller great too
Hoover has strong suction, 3 working modes, flat floor & carpet mode. Also turbo mode can be activated separately. Very flexible & can reach a lot of places. Cannot say much about battery life, but looks promising.
Like the light on the front and the fact that you don’t have to hold the trigger to keep it running. Big difference .
The price relative to what I’ve paid for Dyson is a very significant but not the most important factor. I wanted a cleaner that’s easy to handle at my age and the price is a bonus.
I needed a lighter weight cleaner as I have had shoulder surgery. I am not disappointed with the performance of a stick cleaner. It has great suction power if needed and is equally good on hard floors.I am still experimenting with mine but all in all a good deal.
love love love this handy shark , iv always used henry but decided too go up a notch , and wow its amazing i have thick vinyl flooring , hard floors and a thick rug , its so easy too change from hard floor too carpet , all in all just so easy too put together and your off , wish id bought it sooner high 5 too the shark
Thank you for sending this hoover which arrived on time and in good condition. It was easy to assemble and also it was easy to work out how to operate it. It works very well in getting under furniture and into tight corners. This model is fairly lightweight which is also a positive thing.
The head of the main vac I found to be a bit bulky to go under furniture.
It is heavier than the Dyson and I found it difficult to use to vac out the car.
However all in all I prefer the Shark simply for its suction power.
Easy to swap out tools and to remove the battery to recharge.
Was a little concerned that the run time is only 40 mins but found it ample time to vac the whole house .
Good product but a little pricey.
As a last note I would have liked a brush attachment of some sort but my model didn’t come with one.
After 2 months if use this has not failed me once, picks up hair with ease, really easy to change and charge batteries, simple to empty/ clean and so useful for spot cleaning with the handheld function. All around a great produc
Battery seems reasonable and 2 are provided so easy to swap out. My only grip is its a bit heavier than expected (not massively) and feels like it would be easy to break if not careful especially on the bend.
Very pleased with the shark hoover. Have had a few dysons before but wanted a change. Suction very good & having the lights at the front makes it clearer to see when hoovering. I would recommend.
well worth the money, so easy to hoover now, the only thing I miss is that there isn’t a brush attachment for the skirting board which is quite strange….arrived on time, light, great to “split” in half to do the stairs and sofa…not noisy so dogs don’t bark at it!!

Love my new shark I had a plug in one before but after 5 years it died on me so I looked to get a cordless shark and I am so pleased with it so much easier then my previous one gets under the sofa and charges quickly and lasts for 45 minutes but never using it that long

Absolutely love it. So easy to use and the attachments make life easier when using. Really useful when needing to get underneath the settee and tables. And on the monthly repayment plan made it even more affordable despite it being on offer too.
Huge spider in the house last night, ordered this straight away to keep upstairs as my other Shark is an upright and cumbersome to get upstairs in a emergency such as this!! Well made, works a dream and has a trigger booster suction- fantastic as always great quality from Shark. Critters and dust beware!
This is a great product. Well made, breaks down small for storage and has powerful suction that removes pet hair with no problem at all. Easy to empty and good selection of accessories too. I also use it to clean the cars. Battery life is excellent. Overall, can’t fault it apart from maybe it is a bit heavy, but I’d be nit picking. Better than a similar price Dyson? YES!

I can do the whole flat easily on one charge
I love how you can take off the stick so you can use it on sofas and smaller items
Also like how you can then charge it wherever you want
The feature where it bends to vacuum under sofas etc is very cool
It’s also very nimble, that’s probably one of the best things, so going round corners etc is easy as the head can sort of swivel side to side

The onnnly thing I’d mention is that it would feel slightly weighty if you were doing a whole house, but you can’t really expect less when the whole machine is in hand and it’s really not bad
Previously I may have felt it silly to pay so much for a vacuum esp when I had an old fashioned one already, but I’m now a big believer in buying good appliances to make housework easier so you can enjoy your weekends and live in a clean home that makes you calm and happy
Arrived today loved the packaging for safety was in three boxes and parts were separate in nice material bags.including a carry bag for parts.put on charge fully even though half charged already wasn’t as heavy as others made out in reveiws .I can’t fault it the best iv ever had carpets look brand new much better then dyson and for less money.my parents have a dyson and constantly cleaning out hairs from brush.with the shark no need does exactly what it’s advertised and amazing power especially when you push the turbo one in.i recommend it to all absolutely and will stay with shark if I ever need agai
I still adore this hoover. Its suction power and bright light to spot dust are just two of its best features. I use it for everyone room in my house. Only thing I’d say is that it is a little heavier than I thought it would be! So it would not be best suited to someone elderly or seeking something super light. Otherwise, I highly recommend.
On first use, it looks like the right decision, and a few people we know have said they also have and are happy with Shark.
The thing that struck me most was there was no plastic packaging. (See photo) Everything was card or paper. Extremely good example. Other electrical items we have bought recently have come with loads of plastic wrapping and polystyrene. All manufacturers should look and learn.

Just taken delivery of my Shark Cordless Stick Vacuum. I ordered ‘Peacock Blue’ thinking that it would be a peacock blue colour – no – it’s purple ! Very misleading on description !
I bought this Shark because of the warranty they offer. I have had quite a few Hoover’s over the years including Dyson, and although these Hoover’s are great, many of the same problems came up. Battery would need replacing or the filter would need replacing or cleaning. I am happy I bought the Shark, but do find it a bit heavier than the Dyson.
Carpets look
Amazing. Picks up easily on hard flooring as well. Very easy to use. Love that it fold up, easy to store, just mind fingers first few times you fold it up, until you remember to keep fingers out of way easy to empty and clean. Would recommend as a good buy
It comes complete with a handy bag to keep the tools in, which is a nice touch and saves you hunting around for mislaid heads. The charge lasts very well. This Ninja does such a good job that when I want to have a deeper clean the collection bucket on mama Shark barely has anything in which proves that little Ninja is doing a great job. I have 2 cats & my Goldy so animal fur & my long hair strands get “about” but I dont have to worry about anything as the Anti hair Wrap works a dream. Thank You Shark your products make my life a cleaner place to be.!
One little extra I would like for my OCD is the option to add the correct size brush to clean out the tricky bits of static dust inside the bucket & head as I like to clean inside my machines after every use.
The lock system for attaching and detaching accessories is really straightforward, and the “extra power” trigger is also really useful. A massive bonus is also that the battery is detachable and can be charged as such, so there is no need to mount any fixtures on your walls.
This review looses one star, because it doesn’t come with any useful “dusting” attachments like other hoovers, which is really annoying. You should be able to buy them separately, but you won’t be able to to, because they’re never in stock on the Shark website (or indeed anywhere else!).
Would highly recommend, as long as you don’t want to buy any useful extras for it!
Even though this vax is heavier than other market leaders, which is not good for my arthritis, I love it.
It compares well with the main market leaders in every way, except the weight. I love the way it stands on its own when unfolded as well as the way it folds reducing the amount of space it needs.
The Shark gets into corners better removing all dust and dirt and lights up the floor so you can actually see it picking up the bits much clearer and reduces the need to go over the same surface over and over again . The storage compartment removed easily and quickly and is easy to clean and, unlike the others, does not collect dirt in the closure plates as some of the others do. It is generally a much cleaner process to empty it.
Being able to move directly from one surface to another at a touch of a button and boost the suction where necessary is a very smooth and quick process.
It has a number of add-ons, including a very useful pet attachment, a suction surface attachment which is great for work surfaces and a stair brush, as well as the proverbial corner attachment.
To top it off there’s the two batteries. There is nothing more frustrating than getting part way through the cleaning to find the vac has run out. Not with the two battery Shark. Two batteries and a double charger ensure no interruptions and a continuous clean.
The only negative for me is that there is no separate extension attachment for overhead cleaning but I still have my old one for that and the other benefits certainly make up for it.
