Bought this to put in our caravan. Other reviews said that the sound was good and they weren’t wrong. Previous tvs had to have a separate sound bar but this one is good straight out of the box! Other features are quick to load. Very impressed
As stated in the headline this tv was easy to set up. I purchased this for my 73 year old mum who has a cataract. She’s pleased with this as the picture quality is really good and she can adjust the colour temperature/sound/size of picture easily.
Purchased for caravan to connect to modem so can have WiFi easily set up
Brought this for my bedroom to replace broken TV. Good picture and sound quality. Excellent value for money.
High quality TV pictures and DVD pictures. easy to use.
Bought it as a gift, but told it’s a good TV
This is a lovely 32″ tv. What I was very surprised about was that I couldn’t pause live tv on the remote. I emailed them and they confirmed that this tv does not have not have this facility 🙁
Beware of what you buy. This replaced my old kitchen TV which broke but, anyway, the sound on it would not go above 50 which, with machinery sometimes on, was not loud enough. I replaced that with one I returned because the sound quality was appalling. And I returned a second one which took took ages for channels to change and was only 6 less than this. So, for me, this is a really good find and it works a treat.
TV is good and picture is great. However I ordered a 32inch TV and unless two of my measuring taps are wrong, it is actually 28 inches!!
What can I say. Its like only a good positive essay blowing smoke up this TV’S Ariel socket will suffice. Im only engaging because I’m high as a F*****G Doughnut.
Wife likes it, I rarely watch TV. Had to adjust color because it was kind of dull, okay now. Right size because we don’t have a lot of room.
A very neat tv ideal for small room/bedroom, easy to set up and good value for money.
Good picture quality and good wifi connection, so that’s really what you need for this great price. The remote is quite flimsy however so just 3* for that, but overall – as a spare in the guestroom or bedroom, it’s good quality / price I’d say
TV itself is great, but there are a couple of things that niggle me
The stand itself isn’t great it rather wobbles a bit
Plus its attached to my network via a network cable…generally faster than WIFI but its speed is woeful 60 meg on a 255 meg down connection on a gigabit network
Its a good TV (NOT A SMART TV) However sometimes it does flash white or grey, I did read on the internet that these branded TVS tend to do that since its single from the remote but I’m not certain.
My mother (84 yr old) couldn’t get on with sky, or the freeveiw box we replaced it with.
This comes with a very clearly marked remote, with reasonably large buttons.
The picture is very quality.
Very straightforward to set up and tune i
This television is very nice but have a few problems with remote the dvd keeps getting stuck ,but if you are persistent enough it does come out, viewing wise is good very clear picture but cannot get telly programmes I think living in Portugal is the problem ,so Ariel no good even after trying to position in the right place .worth the money if you only want to watch dvds .regards K.jefcoate
Excellent picture and easy for initial setup. But like so many flatscreen tv’s the sound isnt brilliant. So you will need a soundbar, or as I’ve got a couple of speakers connected via the mic port. There is a facility, using a usb stick, to record and/or pause the tv – but I havent worked out how to use it yet. Am using the stand on a work surface in the kitchen and it just fits under the cupboards. Got this at a good price using Amazon Warehouse where the external packing was a little damaged – but hardly noticeable. Nothing wrong with the packaging of the tv itself though
It isn’t easy looking for a small TV and I did not want a 40″+ one which would overpower the room. Even Which acknowledges the problem. So not being even remotely techy I ordered this because it said it had Dolby sound, which I understand is a good thing. I am very happy with it. To me the picture is clear and sharp and as I watch everything through the BT box anyway it is easy. I have taken off just one star for sound. I find it variable, at times excellent and clear and at others a bit tinny and lacking base. No idea why. Overall, very pleased.
I bought this for the kitchen as the size was good. I wasn’t worried about the DVD function as it’s not something we use but the cost was the same as other TV’s without it. The picture quality is very good. The colours are nice and vibrant and the picture is clear, though blacks can lack a little and changing the contrast doesn’t do much.
My main issue is the sound. While it’s not bad, it doesn’t have much volume and when you do turn it up the quality is quote poor. Even in a small kitchen, it an be hard to hear over the noise of other things going on.
Build quality does feel quite good though and despite the poor sound, I think it’s a good purchase.
Purchased for my 80-year-old Mum. She’s very happy with it! That should be all you need to know!
Very good value for money.
Very simple to set-up (step by step, easy to follow, automated set-up).
Very simple to use.
Main functions are easy to find on the remote control.
NOT a smart TV – BUT a very simple TV
The default picture quality is OK when initially set-up. To improve quality (colour) of picture, the “Picture Mode” must be changed, and ANY other picture setting (other than default) will increase power consumption (the TV is rated as an F in energy efficiency, this is the second lowest (worst) rating on the scale).
Should you wish to have full instructions, you’ll need to visit a website and download the 70+ page pdf doc! Hope you have plenty of paper and ink to print it all!
If you need an Excellent Value, Simple TV, this is it!

A great Tv at great price but as it has been said already its not a Smart Tv delivery from Electrical Mania Was Sharp purchased on the 9th July 2021 delivered on the 12th July 2021
Recommended for HD gaming & Blu-ray Movies via Play-Station 4 or Blu-ray or DVD player bedroom tv & digital TV & CABLE TV viewing or if you are on a budget
Not Recommended as a smart tv with Apps not internet ready despite having an Ethernet port would not recommended it for home Cinema ( i would go for something larger with 4k if not 8k with a higher refresh rate)
OUT OF TEN Probably about 9.5
reason for buying An emergency replacement for old 22 inch Panasonic viera (2021 model) & this TV connections
Bought for my elderly mother, but tested ourselves. Very easy to setup, has built-in FreedView HD tuner so simply connect your regular co-ax aerial cable and the wizard guides you to tuning it. Super lightweight, good picture. It’s 768 pixels vertically so has higher resolution than a regular old-style TV but not as many as a typical modern computer monitor (1080 pixels). The 768 number is termed “HD ready” which, as I say, is better than a normal TV and just what we wanted for my mother, but a 1080p TV is what we might buy for ourselves.
Sound is not as good as our regular, trusty and ancient Ferguson CRT TV but – it’s not bad at all. You can adjust the bass / treble or use “music”, “movie” mode etc. We would *definitely* say the sound is “good”, not at all tinny. It has phono-plug connectors at the rear for connection to external speakers but no 3.5mm jack plug (some old TVs had this).
It has plenty of inputs – SCART for connecting to older FreeView tuners (remember this has FreeView built in so doesn’t need such), HDMI for newer connections and a USB connector for playing music and videos from a USB drive (tested, works really well). And as mentioned earlier, it has a regular round co-ax socket for direct-to-aerial connection.
One thing, the ON button is at the rear, on the right as you’re looking at the TV. It’s a multi-function button which functions like a miniature joystick. So you *could* use it to navigate the TV functions without the controls, but it’s obviously not designed for routine use (as it’s on the back). Controls themselves are pleasant, light, button size is pretty smart: more regularly used buttons are larger then less-used ones. We also bought the Geemarc TV-10 “simple” controls and for about ten pounds, they’re preferable but the Sharp controls themselves are definitely “good”.
Comes with feet that you screw on, a little fiddly but five minute job and looks beautiful. Very happy with our purchase, also seems way bigger than 32 inches for some reason. Highly recommended. Oh and it came super-fast too!
Loled the look of it in yhe kitchen. The previous one we put in our bedroom, to replace the broken down old bedroom one. The one in the Bedroom may yet come back to the Kitchen and the new Sharp can go to the bedroom.
The other one you can get Playback for BBC I Player, but not in the new Sharpe. It was the same price as another TV when bought, and that had I Player. My husband chose the Sharp as it has a good reputation he said.!
It takes 17 seconds to come on. I change a channel sometimes, and it switches itself off for no good reason. I am not happy with it. Probably going to put it in the bedroom because it will not get much use up there. I really miss the one upstairs now, and will bring it downstairs. We bought a brand new aerial as the reception was not great on it, and the picture quality was not that great. Did not change it much. Slightly better only.!
Quick delivery, easy to put together only need a small phillips screw driver for the stand, The tuning and set up very easy only a couple of windows which were all ready done, tuned in fine and good reception, good picture, The sound volume is good and far better than our 24″ Panasonic for which we need an amplifier, especially when there are the normal kitchen background noise. The only ISSUE thus far are the buttons on the ‘clicker’ they are tiny and therefore difficult to see, and I will have to see if there is a better clicker available. There seems to be some goodies with this tv like USB port etc and the ICING ON THE CAKE for me is the DVD player, Over all seems EXCELLENT value.
I bought this for my elderly father to replace a broken set, so I set it up for him. The hardest part was screwing on the bottom of the stand!! The leaflet explains that you’re basically creating the thread in the plastic yourself so if it gets too tight and won’t go in any further, unscrew it a little then keep on screwing! It needed loads of pressure so j was a bit worried about damaging the screen but I got there in the end! The stand is wobbly if you don’t fully tighten this part so has to be done. An electric screwdriver would probably help.
Anyway, on to set up! It was quite easy to get all the digital channels set up and all went well until we connected the Sky box. The picture turned pink every time we changed to Scart input, but it turned out it just wasn’t pushed in well enough. D’oh! The cable access is quite fiddly and tight though. Then we had no sound on Sky, so deduced we needed a mini Jack to RCA cable from the Sky box to the TV. The old TV managed on Scart alone but this one doesn’t. Luckily I had one so the crisis was averted!
The picture is really crisp and the sound was okay (small TV so didn’t expect much).
We linked the Sky remote to the TV easily and dad was pleased to have only one controller.
Though we did need to use the TV remote to eject DVDs, which dad found very fiddly with the very small pause/stop button! I think he’ll need a different remote. There’s also quite a lag between pressing buttons on the remote and anything actually happening on the TV. DVDs glided in and out smoothly.
So in conclusion, he’s really happy watching it. I think he’ll struggle with the small DVD controls on the remote so we’ll have to replace that if we can. He was delighted with the price we paid. A good TV once you’ve set it up!
