It is a very lovely shiny cover that has made my shower look very nice. It drains my water well which is the main thing I wanted it for. I am very pleased.

Replaced the white trap which came with our shower, looks a lot smarter. Captures hair quite well, although not easy to clean out – will have to figure a way to clean it better. But then that is the same with all traps of this design.

After many years of trying to clean the shower drain cover and realising it was a loosing battle, I researched these. Complete like for like and at a very reasonable price – a new one is easier to keep clean but won’t hesitate to replace as soon as necessary.

I measured my old trap before ordering. Delivery was super fast and well packaged. I’m so glad I ordered. Just took it out the box and put it straight into the shower. No complaints. Just fab. Thanks seller.

Whilst the original shower drain cover was good quality stainless steel this replacement is chromed plastic. From just a short distance away you can’t tell the difference! The main weakness with these covers is the screw that joins the white internal cylinder to the chromed cover. My original just rusted away and, even though it’s ‘stainless’, I bet this one will, too, eventually. Nothing lasts forever, eh! Meanwhile , this one will do the job perfectly and is a doddle to replace when the time comes.
(Could not find one of these at B&Q, Screwfix, Toolstation, .. ?)

I have ordered this shower drain trap before and it was the same as the one that that was there before. It was good value and lasted a reasonable time but the chrome coating went full and partly came off . I have ordered the same one and will be more careful with it !
