How often do you have to replace the beads?
Depending on the water quality in different areas, we recommend that you replace the filter beads every 3 months.
What is the rubber plate for?
The rubber plate is meant to replace the metal plate. When you clean the metal plate, the rubber plate can be used as a replacement.

Since installing this I haven’t seen the limescale buildup that the previous shower had had on it. It was easy to fit and works perfectly with a switch for the various settings.
Easy to fit, although the instructions are basic. They do, however, supply replacement beads. There is a button on the side which changes the water output, but this only works with the steel insert, not the silicon one..
I really like this comes with replacement balls. Great shower spray and also really quite. The water really feels a lot nicer and my skin has cleared up since using! Standard shower fit. Sleep appearance and easy to use.
Was going to return as just gave out a mist instead of a shower like spray, when I was boxing back up I saw another insert so thought I’d try before returning, made a whole difference, gives a proper shower spray , love i
I have tried many other similar products. This one come as a complete kit for instalation and also came woth spare cristals, gaskets, filter, shower hose etc. The build quality is good. I do recommend.
Amazing performance of the water pressure intensity … a life saver where there is low pressure..
Its construction is pretty good…..though not particularly neat,
Its many plastic parts…..
It has a limited life, with daily use it will last about 6-8 months before the water salts start to clog the holes….extended life if you clean it with special liquids to dissolve the salts.. ..
I can open most of the parts, but not the one with white filter, it’s too hard.
I feel there is gap with this part, so air goes in and cause minor leaking at the top of show head.
Then by pure chance I was talking with another dog walker I would meet and she told me about this product. I was sceptical at first and just saved the details into my wish list, then one day when I was ordering some other things I purchased this.
The fitting was easy, I even had a spair refill of the mineral balls. I have been amazed at how my skin feels so smooth, there is no longer that grity feeling to it, I pointed this out to my neighbours and quite a few of them have purchased thair own as well. Ever since then when ever I am talking with other dog owners and we get onto the Hard water for this area I have always recommended this product and I know when they have got one because they stroke there forearm like I was doing all the time and I just Laugh. I would highly recommend.
I live in London, terrible water and since I have lived here I have had problems with my skin being dry and itchy and my hair was like straw. Every time I leave London the problems cleared up and returned when I got back so after some research I wondered if it was the water.
I have not been able to grow my hair since I moved to London because it was so dry it just kept snapping off.
Since I installed this shower head my skin stopped itching instantly and over the months it improved so much. I’ve hardly had any spots and my hair is so soft it’s like silk, just like it used to be.
It doesn’t stop the limescale at all but it does seem to filter out the other stuff that’s in the water. My hair used to smell of chlorine but it hasn’t since I put this shower head in.
The only thing I don’t like is the top part which you change for the vitamin c when it runs out I can’t get it to open.
Other than that it was a very good purchase and I’m really happy. I found it took time to see major difference but has definitely worked.
