Great Biscuit Jointer for the price But needs a couple of adaptions for proper shop use. Firstly you will need to paint in the market slots in the base plate (suggest Humbrol 153) and also if you want to use a vacuum, then buy an external adaptor and tailor to fit.

By gum, this unit does what it says. There’s a bit of play in the vertical (thickness) adjustment, but an extra washer reduces this. No suited for bespoke cabinetry, but it handles anything else perfectly. Very powerful motor makes quick work of the job.

Well its good for a cheap machine and saves setting a cutter up in a router when you need to biscuit. Mine did not come with a case and the manual is in such small print it needs a magnifying glass to read it.

Did require a certain amount of patience to figure out how to get the adjustment right to get a parallel cut with the blade, but for the price I paid I’m delighted with its performance.

This is a comfortable tool to use, little or no vibration, easy to position and cut accurate biscuit joints. There are guides for depth of plunge cuts and posiotioning on the face of the timber for jointing, although the guides look approximate rather than absolutley accurate, but it id certainly workable. it cuts at 90 degrees to the edge and has an angle fence for other angles. It comes with two spare bushes. All-in-all, good value for money.

Nice tool for the price. Does the job as advertised.
Its going to take a bit of time to get used to, as with any new tool.
Not sure if I will use this or dowels, but it’s nice to have another option.

I did use it to stick 2 144mm wide pieces of pine together. The joint was really tight and almost seamless.
Not sure if that’s the biscuits or the glue and clamping, but it seems like a pretty sturdy joint.

I LOVE this , it makes gluing up of board for table tops or units so much easier, i would have happily of given this a 5 star rating, however as it came just boxed without a case i feel it only deserves a 4 .

This tool was purchased for a project that will take place later in the year. I must say that Amazon do tend to deliver quickly, and in very good order. Once it arrived it was checked out for its operational functions, and it passed all of them. Everything worked just as the manufacturer said, and when it is needed I have full confidence in its ability to do the job admirably

i read about that item and took a while took a while to decide whether to buy one or not. i eventually decided to go ahead an order one. i am very happy with it. it is so easy to use. it makes joining two piece of wood together a mere doddle. much better than drilling holes and using dowel.

Very pleased. The jointer was clearly brand new which was
a nice piece of icing on the biscuit. Even came with spare
motor brushes.
As a jointer, it works very well without shudder or vibration.
Dust bag is efficient.
For DIY jobs, it’s a perfect tool.

Another Silverline product that gives good value to the economically stretched woodworker. You can pay for more expensive models but this model cuts the same profile for biscuit joints as they do and is simple to use. Certainly takes the biscuit – ouch – over dowels and tenons.
