Sing 2 [Blu-ray] [2022] [Region Free]
Eric André is Darius
Darius is a singer and actor who’s as talented as he is self-obsessed. When he’s paired with Meena for a romantic duet in Buster’s big show, Darius is stunned that Meena finds it difficult to strike up some chemistry with him and play the part.
Bobby Cannavale is Jimmy Crystal
Jimmy Crystal is the ultimate Hollywood villain; he’s a hotel and theater mogul with a brutal commitment to getting his way with an ego to match. Though Jimmy is as savage as he is sophisticated, he’s seemingly got a soft spot for his daughter, Porsha. He operates his empire with an iron fist and refuses to let anyone make him look bad, including Buster Moon.
Halsey is Porsha
Porsha is the spoiled daughter of hotel and theater mogul Jimmy Crystal. Although a bit ditzy and a terrible actor, she is an undeniably talented singer who demands to participate in Buster’s new show on her father’s stage. When the show suddenly changes course, she’ll have to decide if she’s ready to become a team player or miss out on the opportunity of a lifetime.
Letitia Wright is Nooshy
Nooshy is a street-wise and extremely talented dancer we meet performing for tips in the heart of Redshore City. With just the right balance of edge and compassion, she’s the perfect coach and champion for Johnny.

Sing 2 is one of my favourite movies, so I had to purchase it on Blu Ray for easy watching. It runs smoothly and has excellent picture quality and audio. I’ve watched it three times already and intend to keep doing so.
Daughter loves it, lots of songs very catchy esp the ending if u love U2.
Item arrived quicker than expected and in perfect condition. Such a funny movie, I think a great follow up to “Sing” great entertainment .
My daughter (2) adores this film and would watch it multiple times a day given the chance! But it is easy watching for adults too with some good music in it.
It’s not that often the second film rivals the first. But this film doesn’t disappoint. Great songs and story line. Entertaining for all the family!
Good easy watch with 9 & 10 year old. The adults enjoyed the film just as much
Such a good film! We watched it in the cinema and just had to get it on DVD. Beats the first Sing and that was brilliant!
Must’ve seen this film 4/5 times. It’s so good, in my opinion better than the original. It mixes comedy and emotions with some songs that are sung better than the originals.
Genuinely an enjoyable watch for any age, couldn’t recommend it enough.
A lovely film allthough the underlying reasons to the plot of this film is a bit obscure, why is there a need to move the show away to another city, when the theatre he owns now is saved and seemingly does well? What are the long term ramifications to this, has the theatre in the home town now been abandoned? And also, I do miss the Seth MacFarlane character. But looking past this, the film is a lovely treat. First of all it looks so good. It move/, flows and feels good. The new characters are fun and the songs solid. Voice cast is on rare form in this, sounds like everyone, including Bono, are having fun. But once again, is this all really happeneing because Buster Moon has forgotten just how lucky he was in first film? Seems maybe a bit greedy?
I loved the first film. obviously. What was not to love from this incredibly talented cast. I didn’t think that this one could be as good, but I can say that it 100% is!!!
This was an amazing film, with an amazing cast, animation team and choreography. Scarlett Johansson never ceases to amaze me with her voice nor does Taron Egerton, Tori Spelling or Reece Witherspoon. With special guest Bono, it made for a wonderful, musical, feel-good film.
I mean I am doing my A-Levels and I would watch this film 100 times over. If you are having a crap day this film is exactly what you need to lift your spirits.
The choreography for the dances is incredible, the songs are sweet and heartfelt and the wonderful Mathew McConaughey plays the ever-lovable and optimistic Buster Moon.
It will have your emotions up and down. I mean I cried during the big show, all be it I did cry earlier today, but this is one of the only times I have cried watching a film, especially an animation ( apart from Zootropolis, you know that scene with the little fox )
Anyway, suffice it to say that this is the first review I have written of any film ever!!!
WATCH ITTTTT!!!!!
We enjoyed the first film so we’re looking forward to this one.
It pretty much carries on in the same vein as the first and you will need to have seen the first to understand the characters.
The music selection isn’t quite as good as the first bit it’s still packed with great tunes, including Mercury Rev which was a nice surprise.
The performances are spot on and there’s an emotional ending to cap it off nicely.
Our only criticism, and we all commented on it at the time, is a couple of the songs didn’t really fit with what was going on.
Spoilers ahead.
A minor issue but the section on the War planet ends well but the song is a cheesy R&B ballad, surely a War planet should have had something heavier and harder hitting, even for a kids film.
This issue was slightly bigger and it’s a really jarring moment in the film when the other performances are so strong.
The love duet between Meena (the elephant), and the imaginary Alphonso is terrible. Considering the first film was all about Meena and her incredible voice it’s a shame they dropped the ball by giving her such a weak partner to sing beside. His voice isn’t up to it and he may as well have hummed it’s so weak and her performance seems poor because of this. It’s a genuinely jarring experience to witness alongside the rest of the film which is so strong.
Don’t let that out you off though, it’s still a great film with a good message and some good tunes, not too badly butchered into that Xfactor style which is what you might expect.
A solid 7/10
