I got this for my son who originally asked for an Apple Watch to help him count steps! Well he can wait until he’s older for an Apple Watch but this was a great cheap alternative for him to get used to tracking his activity and encourage him to get his heart rate up! It looks very smart, the app he is still getting the hang of but he’s used the watch with no issues

I bought this not really expecting too much from it. However I was pleasantly surprised and actually find it better than some of the expensive ones.
Ok, tracking steps isn’t overly reliable, which is an issue I’ve found with every tracker I’ve owned.
I bought this because I’ve just taken up swimming again and wanted to monitor my distance and pace as I improve. It’s absolutely fabulous. You can set it to the pool length and it automatically records lengths, lap times and even which swimming stroke you are doing. I’ve had it on every day in the pool for 2 weeks now so it’s definitely waterproof.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersConsidering the price this is a great watch.

It does all that most people need. The steps were not far from what my Garmin recorded. The heart rate was also consistent with my Garmin.

It’s got a good range of sports that it can track and has GPS.

I was really impressed with the GPS I gave it a challenge of connecting for the first time while still moving and it was much quicker than I thought it would be. After the first connect it was even quicker.

The watch and the app are both pretty intuitive to use. The watch comes with spare strap which was also pink (shame it wasn’t an alternative colours) and they use quick release so pretty easy to change if required.

My only negatives are that the screen is difficult to read outside in well day light. It has no touch screen so to wake it up you need to press the button on the side. There is the option to activate the screen with a wrist raise but it was really hit and miss, mostly miss.

Overall considering the price point this is a great watch and I have no hesitation recommending it as a starter or no frills watch.

This is quite possibly one of the best Smart watches available for under thirty pounds, it obviously doesn’t come with all the features of similar products from the big brand names, but then again, you won’t find those products for the same low price anyway. 28.99 when ordered represents really good value for money, especially taking the overall quality into consideration, and the fact that this is a near perfect entry level Smart watch. We ordered the watch for our daughter, who mainly uses it as a fitness monitor for running and swimming, and with those tasks, it performs really well. Bluetooth pairing was virtually instantaneous, battery charging is relatively quick at approximately an hour and a half, and a full charge has repeatedly lasted for well over a week, which is very reasonable.

This is a nice looking watch, the instructions are quite basic but they ‘do the job’. Unlike some smart watches most of the functions are controlled by the phone App, I didn’t find tga5 the App was that great though. Charging is done with a magnetic connector, hopefully it won’t get lost or damaged as I wouldn’t know how I would replace it. The watch is very easy to set up, even for a technophobe like me – connecting to my phone was also very simple.

This is an entry level smart watch, it functions well but it may well be too basic for a ‘more active’ user.

Really like the look of this smartwatch, build quality is good and the two-tone pink and pastel blue looks great. If that’s not your thing it also comes with an extra plain pink strap which I felt was a nice touch.

Needs to be fully charged on unpacking using the included cable which magnetically attaches to points on the back of the watch and a USB charger (not included).

You can choose between a number of different watch faces using the companion mobile app and along with the time it has a number of health features such as activity tracking, step counter and heart rate. Accuracy is probably on par with the price of the watch.

All in all a really good basic introduction to the world of smartwatches, though other very similar watches are a touch cheaper at time of writing.

So, the battery life on the watch is brilliant. I have been using it for a week and haven’t needed to charge it again yet. I love that you can change the face to your own photo. However, you can not link it to alert you of WhatsApp messages, which is most people’s common choice of messaging. I have the sedentary alert off because I sit at work all day, but yet it seems to vibrate for no reason regularly. The vibration on it is very good and you can’t miss it, but I don’t understand why it vibrates so often. I have also tried to link it to amazon music, but the control on the watch doesn’t work. The auto hate rate monitor does monitor at regular intervals throughout the day, and the green light is very bright and can catch your attention at times. I am undecided on this at the moment, purely because I can’t link it to WhatsApp
