I saw reviews for this product on social media and how it was fantastic for little ones on holiday. I can honestly say I’m so glad I bought this for my little one as it has been a godsend protecting my little one from the sun and the harmful rays. Even great to have a little nap out and about. A must for your little one on holiday.
OMG this is probably the best baby sleep product ever! My little one is a good napper but only at home. He would only nap for about 30-45 mins max in his pram UNTIL we used the snoozeshade. We used it for the first time yesterday and he napped for 1hr 45mins!!! We had to wakehim up otherwise I sure he would have slept for longer. Highly recommend it for any mummy’s whose little ones need it to be dark in order to fall asleep and stay asleep!
Recently purchased the snoozeshade for a trip to Paris. It was unbelievable how much it helped our 6 month old to nap on the go – just pop it on and she would be asleep a few minutes later. Would highly recommend!
Love this product. Helped our baby sleep on the go on holiday and most of all, she stayed asleep until woken! Felt airy and breathable and was easy to use.
Bought this as we were going on holiday and it is great for creating a dark, cool, quieter place for baby to have undisturbed nap (we all know how important they are!). Easy to unzip, peep and check on them too. My boy sleeps well but I napped without it once and he woke up early. Have been using this whilst we are out and about as it’s summer time now and perfect. Baby doesn’t overheat and gets a good sleep. Win win!

We bought this to take on holiday with our 5 month old, so she could keep cool and nap during the day while we were out. It’s compact in the bag, easy to fit, and was so great at keeping her shaded. She slept so well during the day in this as it’s incredibly dark but breathable, and we could peek in on her using the top zip. Highly recommend and well worth the money!
This was great on holiday – made the pram very dark so baby could nap. UV filter meant I didn’t worry about the sun getting through. It fitted easily to the buggy with Velcro straps. Very pleased with the product.
Was a bit apprehensive about this as I always thought something that covered the whole pram/buggy would make it overheat, but it really didn’t. Don’t get me wrong I do think it could get hot under it but I was only in 23 degree weather and was ideal when we were walking directly in the sun. Used it during the holiday. Good quolity cover but not fully sunproof. Need to be carefour while using it during the hot weather as hot air accumulate under the cover creating very hot environment for baby which can me dangerous.
Bought this based on the raving reviews but was doubtful when it arrived as it doesn’t seem to block out much light like you would expect of a black out blind for example, which my daughter has in her room if I have any hope of her napping. However, to give it its due, my 1 year old who never naps on the go has happily napped while out and about under this. Definitely worth it and so pleased!
I didn’t know I needed this until I had it!! Was amazing for our trip to Barbados to protect the little one properly from the sun. Also was amazing to get him to sleep in the pram as he’s at the age where he is distracted easily!
Was recommended a product like this to help with daytime naps and after some comparisons to other items on the market decided on this based on many positive reviews and recommendations. Essential holiday purchase to keep baby out of sun and in a dark environment when we are eating out of an evening.
Only draw back is that you cannot unzip it to get baby in. Need to undo the Velcro steps that are fitted around the edge
We just did not secure one edge so we could pull up and down with ease.
I swore when I had our first baby that we wouldn’t buy into baby gadgets but the Snoozeshade range has been a lifesaver! We’ve bought the 0-6 month shade, the 6+ month and the travel cot shade and they’ve all been incredible at providing the right environment for naps, sleep and sun shade. Would highly recommend all the products!
We skipped the first snoozeshade intended for smaller buggies as didn’t want to have to ‘upgrade’ to the bigger one later. I’m glad we did as while it’s not a perfect fit it works. We have a Dooma car seat buggy and it fits over that. We also have a Cosatto buggy and it works well with all the different attachments too. Highly recommend skipping the smaller one and going straight for this. My baby sleeps much better while using this and it’s been really useful in the car too over her infant car sea
Brought a snoozeshade to go on our mountain buggy nano for a holiday to France. And I just had to message you about it. WOW! This has literally been a lifesaver! It even got my 4YO to have a nap and our ten month old who normally can only nap for a 15 mins max in his pushchair at home (but will nap for 1.5 hours in his cot) has been having full hour and a half naps! And it has kept him so cool while sleeping even on the hot days! I only wish I had known about this sooner! Absolutely unreal! What an invention!
I purchased this for a recent family holiday to Greece with my 5 month old. The temperature was in the 30’s every day whilst we were there and so this was ideal for keeping my little one cool and protected from the sun.
The snooze shade came highly recommended by other mums as the feedback was that this was much better than a parasol which wouldn’t offer anywhere near the same protection as this.
We used this on the Mamas and Papas Acro buggy and it fitted perfectly. The only downside was that due to the design of the buggy, it was a little difficult to attach the shade to the bottom as it didn’t have a bar to attach to. We had to attach to just above the wheels which wasn’t ideal as sometimes it would catch on the wheel but it was a minor disadvantage compared to the advantages it offered in terms of protection from the sun!
Bought prior to going on holiday but been used frequently for naps in the buggy. We have a bugaboo donkey 2. As my twins sleep for different amounts of times, I bought 2 single ones to use for each seat with the pushchair rather than one big one to cover both and I’m glad I did this. We also have a Britax Romer holiday double buggy to take on holiday and snoozeshade worked well. It allows us to go for long walks and let the twins have their naps in the buggy whilst out and about. I like the way it’s flexible with how you attach it and it is quick to put and take off. Washed in machine on delicate cycle and so far been ok. They seem to sleep for longer with it as it makes their seat darker and means that I’m not tied to being near their cots all the time and I get to be outside
They didn’t block the sun from the sides or remained on the handles which was pretty useless.
Then I found the Snoozeshade plus and gave it a whirl. OMG it fit and didn’t move, shaded our daughter completely, easy to put on and take off. Although ours is black it doesn’t build up heat inside the pram, which most people think but there are tiny holes in the material that support air flow. The material is soft and ideal for the job.
It does exactly what I wanted.
So if you are a mum to be or a mummy looking for something to protect your baby from the sun then try this product out! It’s worth every penny 🙂
My daughter was born in November and now it’s getting sunnier I found it stressful trying to keep her out of the sun while still wanting her to be able to look around.
I’m a bit of an anxious mum and was scared of her getting sun brunt or worried she was uncomfortable with sun in her eyes. I took my first stroll with the snoozeshade today and it was amazing. I didn’t stress about her being directly in the sun and I could hear her cooing and chatting when usually she goes a-bit quiet as I’m constantly adjusting the hood of her pram or resting a muslin over it to try and shade her which stressed me out as know it’s a big no no.
I was checking at first to see she wasn’t too hot underneath but remembered to remind myself it’s completely breathable.
She happily napped which was amazing as I’ve got into a good nap routine and usually stress about going out around nap time as worry it will ruin my routine.
I have the cosatto giggle 2 pram system and it fit perfectly over the 6mo+ pram attachment. It’s very light weight and you can whip it on and off in a flash if needed.
I’ll be keeping it in the bottom of my pram winter and summer as it can be used in light rain too which is prefect for summer showers as she won’t overheat like under a normal plastic rain cover.
Sounds silly to be so excited over a shade but it made our walk to much more enjoyable for the both of us as she was comfortable and I wasn’t stressing about sun rays / wind,.
We bought this for a holiday to Gran Canaria – we weren’t sure whether it’d be any good or not, it was the best thing ever! In January, it’s very windy over there, so having velcro straps kept everything nicely in place. Our son could see out when we rolled down the front “window” and we’d simply do it up to let him sleep. It was fantastic! He slept for a good couple of hours in the day time (unheard of!) and he would also happily sleep in it at night when we wanted to go out for a couple of hours. We have noticed however that the stitching has started to come away from the seams, which is a shame as it had only been used twice before we noticed it, so don’t know if it’s a fault. If it wasn’t for that, it’d get 5*
Having had my first child I wasn’t too sure if I would use this much (I live in Northern Ireland and we see more rain than sun to be fair) but I’ve found that I constantly keep it with me when I go out with the buggy as its not only great in sunny weather to keep the sun out of my little one’s eyes and of her skin but great on windy days and to help get her off to sleep as she’s a seriously nosy baby!
It fits both the mothercare spin that we have and the mclaren techno xt with ease. Definitely one of the must haves that I would suggest even if you (like me) live somewhere doesn’t get a lot if sun, it’s great for keeping the wind from whipping round your baby and to help them drift of to sleep when they can’t shut out the world.
On recommendation, this has been a life saver for us, not just for the sun, but to create the environment for sleep wherever we are. Here’s why we love it
1. Our toddler associates it with sleep and knows it is time for sleep whether it’s nap time in the park or at friends for dinner (just need to have the buggy with us!)
2. Worked with the bugaboo bee for 6 months before we moved up to the maclaren xt
3. Very light
4. doesn’t take up any room – we stick it at the bottom of the buggy
5. Its breathable
6. 50 UV factor against the sun
7. zip at the front to peek whether your kid has gone to sleep
8. You can go out and about without having to worry about nap time
9. Small pocket in the front to store a small rattle or equivalent, if needed.
10. It confuses the hell out of non parent couples!
It’s been a life saver for us – and is the one product we recommend to friends with newborns. We have in fact bought it as a present for a couple of people who are now indebted to us!
Ive used the sneak peek zip a lot but To be honest I’ve never used the zip down window as there is still mesh behind it and if he’s awake then I just un hook the top off the hood, however I can see advantages if it’s particularly sunny o windy or dusty to keep them protected.
I feel it’s worth the extra money to have the more neutral colour than the luminous yellow with the older version. Plenty of Velcro straps to attach to my sola and maclaren perfectly.
A must have!!
