The true test for garden tools like this is how are they after a few years. But, so far, so good. They are well made, and though lightly used, no problems.
Really nice traditional feel- lovely wooden handles. A joy to use. I also have the dandelion weeder (4059NB) in the same series – the best tool I have found so far for the spot removal of marestail.
A contractor pinched my previous tools so these are replacements. I believe that they will do their job. It’s a pity there is not a weeder included because that claw tool is much required. Weeds now bane of my life. Lord knows where they come from. Recent phenomenon.

These feel like quality products. Nice and heavy, not like the cheaper made Chinese ones. Got fed up of the cheap ones bending so decided to pay for a bit of quality. Would recommend.
These tools are a brilliant price for the high quality of Spear & Jackson goods. They are extremely sturdy and hardy and they make light work of hand weeding the garden/borders.
