The bright colours on this garden tool set are a great idea as you can spot them easily whilst gardening if you put them down in a border etc. Purchased to replace garden tools with wooden/green handles which have been lost.
I have used them several times now and they are really good heavy quality.
Was surprised to be asked for ID on delivery though – the edges really aren’t that sharp!
I bought these because my older ones all went missing these are very bright colours so stand out when im looking for them but are extremely sturdy and easier to use came very quickly so my missing ones did me a favour these are much easier to use thank you
I’d bought a few S&J products in the past, and always been pleased with the quality. That was one of the reasons that I purchased this set. I wasn’t disappointed! You can tell it’s a quality item by the feel, it’s much heavier . Yes it is more expensive, but I feel it’s worth it. I’ve used the trowel a few times and to my mind it will take a lot of pounding before it would bend. Happy gardening
Tools are very well made and have a leather wrist strap. Unfortunately the packaging was damaged on arrival which was disappointing as this was a gift . Also upon delivery proof of age and signature was required which meant the delivery guy had to come back when I was home. Not sure why age verification necessary for some garden tools.
I love Spear and Jackson tools. They last and last! I have bought this product for several friends as well as for myself and everyone is delighted with the quality.
These feel like quality products. Nice and heavy, not like the cheaper made Chinese ones. Got fed up of the cheap ones bending so decided to pay for a bit of quality. Would recommend.
These tools are a brilliant price for the high quality of Spear & Jackson goods. They are extremely sturdy and hardy and they make light work of hand weeding the garden/borders.
Good value tools, although these are a bit lighter weight than they used to be I reckon. The fork imparticular seems like it might succumb to a bent tine. However they have a 10 year guarantee.
Good sturdy and rust-proof gardening tools. I bought a set years ago and they are still as good as new, so I bought another set as a gift for my cousin who is a keen gardener. The price varies a lot, and second time they were a lot more expensive, alas, but they should last a lifetime if used and stored properly.
My wife is a keen gardener and has been using this set fairly regularly for nearly 6 months now.
She has found them to be very well made, sharp and to easy hold.
They look as tho they will last many years and my wife is happy to recommend them!
