Hot contents are still drinkable after 24 hours in this dr who tardis of a flask. Built to a high standard as all the Stanley range is. I’ve already dropped it from about 4ft and no damage caused. They are expensive but worth it. My last flask lasted six years before the top started to hiss. I asked what parts I needed to get to resolve the problem and they sent me a brand new replacement under warranty. I have no problem being loyal to a brand with high levels of manufacturing and customer service skills.

Really well made with a heavy duty handle.
It’s really big, holds loads, It keeps stuff hot or cold for ages, pours great and doesn’t leak a drop.
If you want a quality flask get one of these, you can’t get better.

I did test on how long it will hold hot water, after 50+ hours water was still 42c! Excellent product, I don’t think any other flask can beat this legendary heat retention quality.

I bought this flask for use for when I am fishing on a lough-style boat, where the flask is subject to plenty of rolling and bashing about as the boat hits the waves. I’ve broken several Thermos Flasks in these conditions. I also need a flask that keeps fluids hot all day i.e. from 4:30am (fill it up at home before hitting the road for fishing) to 9pm (home from fishing) for fresh cuppas all day long.

This is a rugged flask that does a top-class job at keeping fluid hot. The fact that I see so many ghillie/guides using this brand of flask is a testament to it as a quality go-to product.

Test 1: Last in a tough environment without breaking – Pass so far
Test 2: Keep the water hot for a nice cuppa throughout the long fishing day. Nobody likes tepid tea. – Pass. The water is still roasting hot when I empty it at the end of the night. Just be sure to follow the instructions on how much to open the cap.

Of additional note is that this is a large flask. I’ve the 1.9L Flask and it takes a full Kettle load, plus some!

It genuinely, genuinely keeps drinks hot for over 24 – 30 hours. It is beautifully engineered and would probably survive a bomb going off on top of it. My only caveat is that it is REALLY heavy when full. But for a largely bed-bound old lady who is awake most of the night, a HOT cup of tea at 2 or 3 am is such a treat!

Purchased as a gift for my lorry driver partner. It stays hot for 72 hours and has great capacity, does what it says on the tin & worth the price. Durable & easily transported!

This flask is really very good. My husband uses it for his fishing trips. He is forever breaking flasks and costs us a fortune. This one is very sturdy and keeps the hot drinks very hot all day and into the next. Highly recommend.

I BOUGHT THE PRODUCT ASSUMING ‘KEPS LIQUID HOT FOR ’36HRS’ WOULD BE A NOTICABLE IMPROVEMENT ON MY CURRENT 11 – 1.1LTR STAINLESS STEEL FLASKS – IT WAS NOT, BUT THE STANLEY BUILD QUALITY IS FAR HIGHER.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOne day you’re young and cool, the next you’re taking time to review a flask online. Anywho, this is enormous, my husband has stopped moaning that he has to pay per brew at work for gnats piss (at 30p a pop) and I get to not see hundreds of transactions on the bank statement at the end of the month for said gnats piss (because of course the machine is contactless only). If for some reason he’s not finished the entire flask before he gets off shift, it’s still scorching when he gets home. Only little grumble is an additional cup would have been nice for sharing on a trip but aside from that, marvellous! Well worth the price.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis thermos is the best, it has kept my water hot enough to make a tea with for 24 hours! I have no complaints about this. especially with lifetime warranty! but i cannot see this breaking for decades. One thing I recently noticed is that when you start unscrewing to pour, you do not have to take the whole plug out only slightly and keeping the heat in!

Bought this primarily for my wife to use for her work however I have been using this too. A very sturdy flask that keeps things hot for many hours. Bought this to replace an old glass inner flask that broke. This one has taken a few knocks with no adverse effect.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI have had lots of vacuum flasks, glass lined and steel lined. Working outdoors all day the glass ones kept drinks hot – but broke if dropped (often). The steel lined OK for 3 to 4 hours -then cold.
SO bought this Stanley on seeing a guy on-site with one.
Wooww. What a star item, hot all day (and even when I get home if not drunk it all). OK to drop it as it all stainless steel so is bomb-proof (not tested !!),
I am going to buy the smaller one as the 1.9L is great if working with another person – but too much to drink if on your own.
Just the perfect flask for a lifetime of use.
PS I not tried it with cold liquids but if it keeps heat in so well, I guess the same is true for cold
