Was a gift for my daughter. There were happy tears when she opened her present. Great actions and sounds. Nice quality, well made and looks, acts and sounds like the original.
I bought this for myself, as I’m a big Star Wars fan and a huge nerd.
LO-LA59 is amazing. It’s sits pride and place next to my R2-D2. Money well spent I think. Loads of different sounds and movement combinations. Comes with two stands that change the interactive sounds.
But I wouldn’t buy for a child. Wouldn’t last long in the hands of small child. I’d say over 20 years for them to appreciate this awesome droid.
Great little toy but the rrp price 90-80 is very high. Lucky I got mine at 40 on the Black Friday deals. Alot more reasonable price. Cute features but a little limited playable for young kids more for adult collectors. Younger Kids would find a BB 8 or R2 D2 droid more playable..
“Long Story Short”
It looks nice
Straight from the box you can tell is designed to be collectible item
Well presenting box
Toy itself is marked as from 4 up, i dont think it will survive playtime of 4 year old , it is too fragile to survive it
As a collectible item it is perfect to have it on shelf, it looks perfectly
It does have its movement and flashing lights in it but for Star Wars fan it just need to be on shelf 🙂 no additional stuff needed
Good quality item
Value for money 10 out of 10
Amazing droid, L0-lA was the absolute star of Christmas and everyone loved her. So much character for a toy!
Fabulous working model of Lola from Obi wan kenobi, good value and well buil
This may be considered quite expensive for what it is, but it is Star Wars paraphernalia, so what do you expect!
It is very cool though and sturdy feeling. If your child (or partner) enjoyed the series they will love the cute Lo-La59, to play with and watch her wings flapping or as a cool ornament on its little stand!
For the price, I do think batteries should have been included!!
If you are a fan of the Obi-wan series this toy are perfect for you. I would say it can be a toy but more likely it is an action figure to be part of your collection if you star wars fan. But the kids could enjoy it as well. As its quite fun to play around with as it has many sounds and lights coming out from it. So it has two stands one with the legs which can be attache to it ( they do not move, and a like a more fancy stand , but if it would move it would be even more impressive), and just a simple stand where the LOLA would look more like a spaceship and not android. And it works without the bases as well, but will not be so interactive as the wings will not flap and will not have any movement just cute robotic noises like talking to you. To work this toy needs 4 x AA batteries.Once you put them its starts to work. As well with the different stands, it will make slightly different noises.
She kind of does not have off the bottom and goes automatically to sleep mode. If you want to wake it up you need to push the top of the LOLA, or just turn her around and she will activate. Once she is activated she will react to the noises like talking to you. Which is really cool and fun.
Overall it’s really nice figure to have if you are a fan of star wars, as it’s really well-made and fun to have I think.
We’ve just finished watching the Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney and my kids especially loved Lola!
The toy is well presented and comes complete with two interchangeable bases (legs and stand). I did find Lola a little difficult to pull off the stands if I’m being honest.
She requires 4 x aa batteries (not included).
Sounds and movements are fantastic and react to sound and touch. It’s an expensive toy but is well made, feels robust and a must for Star Wars fans. Even looks super cool sat on the shelf.
Would recommend!
Toy is good to play around with and kids love it. It does minimal movements and sounds and most of these are out space sounds that we see in the movies.
Movement are minimal but it’s not full robot obviously so technically perceives sound and reacts to it. Could have been better if added legs to it for walking.
Such a high quality SW toy with high detail like the original part from the film with three modes of play and 45 different functions, this requires AA battery’s as they are not supplied other than that this is on the high end at 91 but for any SW fan the cost is worth every penny this is going to be a fantastic gift see pictures to show
Loving Lola as she is sound and touch activated. Looks great on display too with 2 different types of stands, with or without legs. Lights up and moves just like in the obi-wan series. Star wars fans won’t be disappointed
My husband is really pleased with his new toy! He’s the biggest star wars fan I know, to the point of going as far as having his face carved into Anakins scar into a tattoo & changing his name to lord Anakin Luke skywalker! He was really excited to receive it. Lola can pertch on her transparent stand to give the effect of a hover or connect her legs for her to stand on, you can activate her by pushing the bottom on the top as well as speak or clap to get the attention of Lola, although these are great features I think Hasbo should of made lola flyable as a drone also, to give the real life effect anyone who has seen Obi Wan Kenbo series would know, either way that’s just my opinion. I think the pricing is around about fair as this is standard for all the droids released, Hasbo also decided to bring the date forward to release lola earlier, than the original date of release in December.
