Arrived on time, nicely packaged, instructions clear enough and easy to fix to toilet. The quick release for cleaning is great and easy todo. The hardest part was getting g the old toilet seat fixings out, that took forever!!!
Highly recommended
The toilet seat was ordered to replace my old one.
which fits perfectly, but the only issue is that the screws didn’t work out properly and have to buy one from the diy store
The seat was purchased to replace a similar seat which had become defective. The defect being that the white colour had turned a reddish/pink colour. Otherwise it is an excellent product.
Didnt take too long to fit about 15 mins…though there were NO instructions in the leaflet on how to fit from the top only.
Ok the bits were almost self-explanatory…but someone with little DIY experience might struggle.
Having said that a bit of playing around getting the tight position and it seems to be firm.
Bolts were long enough for me. Overall a nice product easy to take on and off for cleaning.
Time will tell if it stays in place.
The seat is ideal apart from the bolts which are too short for top fixing. It’s exactly the same size and weight as the one it’s replacing However I spent an hour trying to make the fixings work but they don’t. So the seat is held on by Gorilla tape for 24 hours until replacement fixings arrive tomorrow, hence the loss of one star.
This was a good looking toilet seat which was a decent weight. Unfortunately it did not quite fit my toilet seat so I returned. Would definitely have kept it if it had fitted.
Feels sturdy and well-made.
Soft-close action is efficient, slow and silent. Very nice.
Obviously only time will tell if it lives up to its promise.
Installed by handy-man who thought it straightforward to fit.
At this point, Storemic seat looks to be a good buy. I would recommend.
unpacking it was surprisingly heavy and the quality was excellent installation was easy once i worked out which bits to use from the variety supplied once fitted it was very sturdy and didn’t move around at all not like all the other ones ive had in the past ,so well worth the cost and highly recommend
I thought it wasn’t going to be as good as it was but in fact it was better!! It’s of a much better quality than the one it replaced plus it’s quick release button works really well and is of a better quality so all round great value for money I think I’ll purchase another 1 soon to keep as a spare
Installed in five minutes, the supports can be easily rotated to accomodate a range of sizes (the distance between the mounting holes on the toilet), surprisingly good for the money, and sturdy enough.
The only criticism is on the design, the back of the lid is very square, it would have looked better with a slightly more curved ending.
It will not do up straight and tight so I am going to have to buy another elsewhere. Very annoying. I contacted the seller who gave me a full refund.
After a month I’m really pleased with this product, especially as it fits my apparently extra wide hinge fitting. It’s taken ages to find one that says it can fit 22.5cm apart mounting holes, and actually fit.
I used my existing plastic expansion fittings to fit from above and found the slightly larger screw heads supplied allowed for a tighter fit, nothing moves when sitting on it unlike the previous one it replaced.
It’s really easy to clean as long as you read the instructions that clearly state press and release the chrome catch ‘once’ and lift the seat off. If you keep pressing or pressing more than once it doesn’t let go.
As for the self lowering after a slight pull of the seat or lid it’s working fine so far
I’ll update after a few months, years on this.
