Bought one and was pleased with performance so bought 2 more for friends with wood burning stoves. Great value.

Very easy to read, was able to make a more efficient fire using it (just once so far).

I like the design on this as it’s very obvious when the stove is getting too hot.
The only thing I don’t like is the brand name ‘Xmasneed’ on the fro

on unpacking the item looks basic and cheap, however once placed on the stove it is easy to read and quite unobtrusive, does the job it was purchased fo

This is connected to my stack on my log burner & it’s working really well. You can clearly see with the colour bar that you need to keep the needle in the orange bar section. This way I found that you have the right temperature going on and your not over loading with wood or you haven’t got enough on. Well pleased with this, I would recommend this to anybody who’s looking for one for there wood stove.

Experimenting with different logs & good to see length of burn as well as the temperature.
(Now where do I get the quiet fan to redirect all the stovb’s heat?)

Bought myself and my parents one. Very useful, especially when using the heat logs.

Works well. It’s useful to know when the log burner is at optimum temperature. Good price.

Magnetic backing and sticks on very well. I wanted to wait for a few months before adding a review to see how the product performs … well I. Impressed – it works well, easy to understand the low/high temperature levels and helpful in managing your heat/temp level. I’ll definitely recommend & will buy another.

I’ve nothing to compare it against so assume reading is accurate. Only used for a short while and seems good. Hope long term it continues.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAs we live in a rural area where electricity supply can be uncertain, for the last twelve winters we have relied on a multi fuel burner for warmth and for emergency cooking.
We have always had a chimney thermometer to keep the stove at maximum efficiency but, having a black needle on a black scale, it was difficult to read at any distance. We therefore decided to upgrade and bought an Xmasneed thermometer.
As we use the stove for cooking soups, stews and even pot roasts we decided to get a second so we can read the hob temperature as well. As the price of electricity continues to escalate and central heating becomes too expensive to use we expect this thermometer to be a very good investment as the scale is so clearly readable.
