Overall it’s a great it’s very small about the same size as bleaches you find in the local supermarket (height wise). It is very portable for sure but of course there’s a wire that comes with it so bear that in mind. Quality is good not too flimsy. Overall im pleased with it, I just wish I got bigger that’s all.
Perfect for storing my sons milk in for night feeds in the bedroom so I don’t have to keep going down stairs to grab a bottle. So convenient and very cold , great value for money, good quality, performs well, no light inside, worth buying!
Likes:
– it’s small.
– quiet. There’s a hum but not annoyingly loud.
– you can actually fit 4 568ml tall cans in just about.
– it actually works, the 4 568ml cans became cold.
Dislikes:
– not so much a dislike but what they did was make the shelf slot causes two narrow protruding fins each side which narrows it, if they’d make it recess rather than protrude you’d get more useful space.
Have this sat on my desk with water in it and face masks. Lite weight and compact with either a plug or usb cable and can be changed to heat as well. What’s not to like
Purchased this mini fridge for my travels & absolutely pleased with me & perfect for what it was purchased for.
I need to store my insulin when on weekends away & mini breaks as not all hotel rooms have fridges & sometimes costs a small fortune to upgrade or the alternative is to store at reception which is a pain when you inject 5 times a day !
Purchased this for my wife, who’s in hospital and needed somewhere to keep drinks cold. Liked its style and it’s reasonably quiet when in use, but not so keen on the door catch which could be a nail breaker. Didn’t think much when first plugged in, but over 12 hours it definitely kept drinks a lot cooler, but It’s not a full fridge, so don’t expect too much. Overall would definitely buy agai
My friend bought one of these mini coolers a few weeks ago and was really impressed by it. I decided to invest in one for the bedroom and for travelling and I can safely say it’s brilliant, It’s light and compact and chills up to 6 cans in about 90 minutes. I’ve not tried the warming feature yet but I’m sure it will be great. The fan is super quiet so you hear only a very faint hum
Cools well and adequate size for a few cans. I use this for medication with a thermometer to check temperature, and as a backup for caravanning. Quieter in eco mode (from a battery if camping) but might keep you awake at night if run from the mains. Durability unknown as I haven’t had this long. Comes with mains transformer and battery adaptor; needs 2 amps from a usb c socket.
Brought for bedroom to replace another mini fridge that kept breaking down, this one holds the same,6 cans, but it is really lightweight and almost noiseless, definitely better than some other more expensive ones I’ve had before.
We use this for baby bottle for night time feeds and it’s very handy. Can’t fault it.
Other reviews mention a loud noise but we don’t notice anything. Great value. We fit about 4 x 5oz bottles in i
Have this in my bedroom and is ideal. Holds 4 cans of coke on the bottom and two smaller cans on the top shelf. Very quiet to run unlike previous chillers. Very happy with purchase
Good for my son to keep his energy drinks cool in his bedroom
Fabulous product. Does actually what is does on the tin. Excellent service product arrived ahead of due date. Was a gift for my daughter. She is super happy with i
Neat little fridge. Very quiet and just right for keeping little bottle of water in or beauty products. Highly recommended.
It was a present for my grandson he loves i
Nice little fridge for the soft drinks. Works well. Reasonably priced.
Bought this for my elderly mum, who gets up during the night for a cold drink, this will save her struggling downstairs
I really like this ridge, its small, easy to travel with, it makes low noise and it is very light. the space inside is as exactly described in the information, nothing a surprise! I’m really happy with this product in general!
We use when we go away and stay in the hotel with the dogs we use it to keep their food in it’s great keeps a nice and fresh plus the fridge is small and easy to carry and you can put in at least four days of food
We received it in good time but when we opened the box and opened the fridge door. The storage part of the door was broken off. We decided to keep the fidge as that part was not need for what we were going to use it for. Other than that we were very surprised at how good this little fidge was.
I am now the happiest chap on Earth. In my home office I have a heated coaster, so my tea never gets cold and now a mini fridge, so my KitKats never get warm. I have owned a 6L mini fridge before, but it was always a little too large for what I needed. This 4L model is perfect. I like the fact that it’s power supply is external, as it was this that failed on the old fridge, but it was built inside, so hopefully I can just replace the power brick supplied with this one in the future. This model seems well insulated, and comes with a useful little removeable drip tray. The fridge levelled off at 6 degrees, which is pretty much spot on, and is completely silent. There is a fan at the rear, but I cannot hear it, even though the fridge is right next to my desk. The fan does expel air, but the air has no heat to it, which is great, as the last thing you want this summer is something adding even more heat to the air. The only thing I don’t really like, is the fact that the door handle is fake. The door shuts using magnets and the ‘handle’ is just a very shallow indentation in the body of the fridge, to allow your fingers to get a grip on the edge of the door. But the indentation is so! shallow, that it almost feels like you are opening the door with your fingernails. The fridge has almost no weight to it, so opening the door is pretty much a two-handed operation, your left hand being required to stop the fridge from moving, while you open the magnetic catch with your right hand. Other than that, pretty much perfect.
I bought this back in August last year, as I was going away for the weekend and remembered the hotel room I had booked was unlikely to have a fridge. It turned out to be a very good purchase, as it was a very hot weekend and being able to have chilled water/soft drinks without having to spend a lot made me happy.
Subcold Classic4 Mini Fridge looks nice however, I did not know how to use the USB, I returned it to the seller who was very helpful and understanding
It’s small, and compact. Can fit 6 cans, plus a few small snacks or whatever would fit in the front pocket. Makes things quite cold (haven’t tried the warm feature yet). You can take out the shelf to fit bigger items in if you need to, which is helpful.
Only thing I’d say is that it isn’t quiet/silent. I keep mine in my bedroom but I am used to the sound as I normally sleep with a fan on. For those who don’t, I can see the sound being unbearable/annoying.
It is quite loud the fan, but it is super light and perfect for my little ones snacks
Daughter loves it. Took a bit of time to cool the drinks but once up and running seems good.
Only downside is it is quite noisy.
Very compact.
Bought as a present for my seven year old granddaughter who decided it’d be nice to have a fridge in her bedroom – kids today!
She pops bottles of water & the odd supervised snack in it. My daughter has remarked it’s a bit noisy but I never hear it – well I don’t live there
Seems like a good little buy & ok for the money.
This is good value for the price, bought for skin care and takes up little room on my vanity. I would say the fan is a bit noisier than I was expecting though. Luckily it’s in a dressing room as the fan would be a bit too intrusive if this was in a bedroom. Happy with my purchase though.
It’s a nice mini fridge but the only thing I find with the USB is that the power output isn’t as strong as connected to the mains. Good product all the same
With a fridge this size, I wondered how well it would manage to keep things cool.
I needed a portable solution to keeping heat sensitive medicines at below 25’c.
It’s not silent. The whirring of the internal gubbins is audible but not too loud to keep me awake at night.
The internal temperature seems to maintain between 11’c – 15’c, there was even ice forming in the back on one of the hottest days of the year.
I’ve been impressed with this little pink workhorse, it’s definitely towing the line and means the medication can be stored upstairs where it’s needed rather than in the fridge downstairs.
Before Covid-19 I’d travel quite a lot around the country and love tea with milk, not the UHT stuff you get in hotels. Being self employed, I’ve only just started to travel again. I’ve been wanting a little fridge like this for ages. I took my time and read reviews etc. Finally deciding on this fridge about a month ago. I thought I’d give it a good few runs before deciding to review it online (this is my first Amazon review). I’m thrilled with it! I read a review tip to give it a run a home first, as the first time you use it it takes a while to cool down. I followed these instructions. It cools down quite quickly. I’ve only used this on the cool setting. I’m not aware of it running at night in my room. I feel secure in letting it run during the day in my hotel room while I’m away. It’s my perfect little travel companion. It’s inside space is limited, so this is what I manage to fit into it overnight. It easily holds a standard pint plastic screw top carton of milk, a standard bag of grated cheese and a small tub of supermarket beetroot salad. I put some butter in a small 2″ square pot at home before setting out on my travels and that goes in there too. No trouble. I remove the shelf, so that the milk can stand upright. This means I can have cereal with cold milk for breakfast and a decent cup of tea. I can keep cheese and butter cool to make sandwiches for lunch. I’m really happy with my purchase. To transport it about, I find that it fits nicely into one of the woven supermarket bags and takes up about 2/3 of the length of the bag. I hope that my comments here help others too.
