Bought for my grandchildren for their bedrooms – I know, times really have changed! One keeps her sweets and drinks in, other keeps make up in it. They love them. Not very big. I would say the size of a vanity case. Idea for bedrooms, caravans, etc..
Ordered for my bedroom to store some beauty products. Fits well onto a cupboard shelf and is very quiet so doesn’t disturb my sleep.
Looks cute and holds my skincare and tools that I want kept cool
Great fridge I use for my drinks at work where it can run from usb but also is great for your bedroom office as it is ultra quiet and doesn’t disturb you at nigh
I took the liberty of this time purchasing a Bluetooth thermometer that I then placed inside the fridge (which in turn resides in my garage).
Initially I was using the mains adapter. I read another review on here where a guy was saying the performance is less efficient using the USB connector as it works at a lower power level.
Anyway, hooked the fridge up using the mains transformer and unfortunately it was cooling to zero degrees! This meant that I was going to get the exploding can thing again.
I then switched to the USB and so far it has risen to about 2 degrees, which is ideal – I just hope it doesn’t keep on rising over the next few days, but saying that I would rather the cans at, say 5 degrees than frozen and burst inside the fridge!!!
As others have said, it is whisper quiet in operation and through the mains adaptor gets warm, it’s no reason for concern as, for example those laptop “brick” transformers do exactly the same thing.
So far, so good it seems….
Bought to keep next to my PC, so I always have a supply of cooled drinks to hand. In this environment, it’s very quiet in operation. You would hear the fan in a bedroom in the still of the night though – keep that in mind.
It’s early days, but no problems at all with purchase so far. In fact, I love it.
Bought this to stire tge cat’s medicine while waiting for new fridge frezzer. Worked perfectly and once the new fridge arrived, this little mini fridge disappeared into the Teen’s room to store and chill a few cans of pop.
The fridge is extremely light, a bonus if you’re after a travel fridge.
It actually looks pretty good, my last one died after many years service and was very boxy by comparison. This one is quite sleek and should be easy to keep clean.
The one thing that really stands out is just how quiet this thing is.
I’m hyper sensitive to sound, which meant the last wee fridge couldn’t live in the bedroom.
I’ve had to check a few times that this one is still running, it is almost completely silent.
It’s been plugged in for maybe 18 hours now, the cans put in there at the time are now nice and cold. Not quite ice cold, but definitely cold enough.
Hopefully it will last as long as old boxy did.
Used to keep milk at my bookstall where I had a 240V supply, so I didn’t have to leave my stall to go and queue for coffee. DC adaptor doesn’t supply full power, only 5V instead of 9V – why?
The unit runs very quietly and it’s lightweight. One pint milk bottles fit easily in the cooler but the average two pint milk bottles and the average 1 Ltr alt milk packs are too tall, not a problem if liquid is decanted into shorter containers. One thing to consider; due to the lightness of the unit and the good tight magnet door lock, you need two hands to open the door otherwise the cooler just slides on the surface. Cooler has USB power source plus standard uk three pin plug. Ensure good airflow round the back of the unit. Important not to cover the unit. We are very happy with the choice we made. Unit is solid and substantial.
Birthday present for my son, he loves it. You can fit about four full sized cans of drink in there and some little snacks. Not very noisy so great for his bedroom
One upstairs for medication and now one of the worktop in kitchen for the homemade butter. The normal fridge makes the butter too cold so it will not spread, this keeps it at a fab temp so you take the butter out for a couple mins and it spreads beautifully but not melty.
Happy days.
I bought this to keep milk cold for my morning cup of tea, while staying in a hotel. The temperature outside was 26C and the milk was cold. Also very economical and quiet. Awesome.
I needed it to be able to pt my medicines in when travelling and it is hot as my medicines have to be kept cool also my milk which is lactofree and hotels tend not to use i
Very nice looking little fridge for my bedroom. Very quiet and keeps items nice and cold. Very good value for money.
You will hear a little’buzz’ if you have a quiet house, but I wanted one for guests and when I have to work away and don’t want UTH milk. Very happy!
I think it may wear out if left on 24/7 , but I feel it is well made, so should get good use out of it.
Does the job, but I was hoping to use it for a ready meal and drink but clearly it’s just meant for cosmetics. I might have to buy a large one. Also, doesn’t get cold enough for my needs.
